    Hi there~ It doesn't sound like you went into the P-Settings menu, and modified the braking factor, and/or some other tweaks that may have given insight to some of the anomalies. This is a crucial tuning factor for all of these escooters.

      That's an interesting idea, I feel like quality and readable displays are a place very much lacking on some E-scooters. Have you ever tried the Vsett's? They tend to be a nice step up from the Zero line in most aspects.

    My sweet spot for low speed/ smooth start/stop is ECO/ SINGLE/2. Speed motor option, I really enjoy it sometimes. It reminds me of like driving any Xiaomi scooter, lol, with very promising range.
    When I want speed, TURBO/ DUAL/2. or 3. Speed motor option.
    I have a 52V, 18.2Ah model.

    I like the scooter, but for the height of the deck. Can that be adjusted down, lower to the ground?

      Hello Stephen from Down Under! Unfortunately you cannot lower the deck very much. In theory when you adjust the suspension it could change the deck height, I'll do that and let you know what I find.
      I do like the kickstart setting but with many of these high deck scooters I end up changing to zero start (live at a stop) because kicking off is awkward. Cheers!

    I have the Voromotors Mantis pro se, but before purchasing the Mantis, revride's base 10x was one of my few choices. In your opinion did I choose the right scooter for the price range? And lastly what's a better overall ride between the two. Thanks!

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 роки тому +1

      Ride is really determined by your weight, to me the Mantis is quite firm, however that all depends on what surfaces you ride. I personally like the way the Mantis feels a little better than the Zero 10x, mostly because the Mantis is 10 lbs lighter. I do think RevRides is a notch above VoroMotors on customer service. I don't think you made a bad decision at all especially if you got the Mantis when they had it discounted.

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 роки тому

      I agree that the Vsett 10+ has a better design. I will say that it isn't for everyone, it is a bigger footprint than the 10x and also you don't have a 52v options if you want something that isn't 60v. Thanks for the comment!

    • @bmbaretopndc
      @bmbaretopndc 3 роки тому +1

      @@ElectronSurfer and the reason someone would prefer a 52V battery over a 60V battery?
      The footprint? The better stem/folding mechanism alone compensates for that. Throw in the turn signals and no longer having to worry about replacing the charge ports when the side-mounted ones get bent from either laying the scooter down or otherwise banging into something. Plus the improved kickstand. Plus the standard 3" tires. Plus the standard hydraulic brakes. Plus the IP54 water resistance rating. The horn is a little rinky-dink. I say all that to say if you think the VSETT 10+ has too large a footprint, you could always go with the VSETT 8+. Still a better choice than the 10X.

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 роки тому +1

      @@bmbaretopndc I'm not arguing, I agree the Vsett has a better overall design, I just don't think you can say it is better for everyone because of that. If you want a lot of comfort and don't need 60v speed, the 10x can work well.
      52v vs. 60v: You will get more range for the same watt hours with lower voltage. The 10x also has lower wattage motors that the Vsett, so potentially more range.

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  2 роки тому

      The 10x style has a whole bunch of non-branded options so it could be a legit scooter but not a Zero. If the motors have the 1000w or 1200w stamp and same display, it is likely ok. The question mark will be the battery, it is usually just a small sticker unless you want to open the deck up to see what the cells are. So it probably isn't fake but also likely not a Zero. Most all branding on these are sticker/decals that can be removed with a heat gun and patience. My advice is look it over closely and ride it if you can.

  • @supersonicspeed9

    LG cells are perfectly fine and will be more reliable than generic cells, but there is always gonna be points of failure, one weak cell can throw off the whole package regardless of brand. Did you make sure each scooter used the same P settings for braking and acceleration?
