Hi Susannah, I was just wondering how long did it take to cook to medium well? I have tried few times now and probe reaches temp to 60 degrees after 2 minutes, I don’t think that’s normal and steak was clearly still raw. I tried to preheat the ninja first last time and same results, after 5 minutes it showed probe reached 80 degrees. Thanks.
@@norakoleva3827 Hi, it sounds like your probe is faulty. Definitely not right. I can’t remember how long as I just let it cook to temperature. I would give ninja a call and get some advise
Great content and maybe try this method for steaks next time. Remove from the package 24 hours before, pat dry and liberally cover in salt. Leave uncovered on the fridge. Pan fry using cast iron or stainless steel, never non stick. Heat the pan and wipe off the salt. Oil the steak (never the pan) and apply any seasoning. Cook the steak on high heat on the pan and don’t remove until the steak is loose on the hot side. Cook to temp with insta read thermometer or use the finger palm technique.
Hi, did you have the probe plugged in at this point? It will only come up on the screen once plugged in. I'm presuming you have the 15 in 1 and not a different model?
Thank you for sharing this, I didn’t realise how simple to use it was and perfect results each time.
It’s much better than I ever imagined. Going to try dehydrate with steak next time!! 😬
@@susannahskitchen fascinating, so I’m thinking that’s what beef jerky might be, I’ve seen it in Sainsbury’s but have never tried it.

Just wondering, why not use the air fry option rather than grill?
@@muneebhijazi Hi, the grill is hotter and more direct but you can air fry steak

I couldn't find (preset or manual) choices in mine, could they have changed the program of grill ?
I can only set temprature and time
