I keep mentioning this channel and build in the comments of Adam Savage tested channel in the hope that some of his millions of subscribers pop over to here.
MR TREK! THIS CORIGATED CARDBOARD?! MODEL -PERFECTLY SCALED! THIS DESERVES TO BE HUNG IN THE -SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM‼️‼️😃👍👍👍 YOU ARE INCREDIBLY TALENTED!! AND OBVIOUSLY THIS IS A LABOR OF LOVE!!! BRAVO!! BRAVO‼️‼️🖖🖖
Please remember to include the "GNDN" pipes. I feel it wouldn't be complete without the production quirks from the show. This is simply unbelievably awesome!
I've made hundreds of model kits, developed techniques for hiding seams, repairing molds, improving windows and glass, and thought myself pretty darned good. I feel like someone who barely knows how to walk watching someone fly. This is, by far, the most incredible build I've seen! I can't support financially, but I do have a new 3D printer and am willing to donate crew members, props, and wall sections!
This is insanely BEAUTIFUL! I thought I was the only person who loves to build HUGE sci-fi models! Continue the magnificent work my friend! Once completed it needs to belong in a museum! Live long and prosper! 👍
It just keeps getting more and more jaw-dropping. I'm struggling to find the right words here, but bear with me - before this, the show was the show, what we saw is what happened. Now, for me, there's the beginnings of some context in which I can see (for example) characters walking along a corridor on screen, and I can actually picture in my mind's eye, the scale of the ship around them - and imagine a much richer, much more vivid picture of what's not shown. Maybe for some people they could already picture this clearly in their heads, but for me, this model has helped cement a new appreciation for the ship. And it's not even halfway built yet! Amazing work.
This is still so awesome. I love how the bridge and all the interiors of the test models are coming along, those stairs are beautiful. I did notice a few mistakes. The bridge module had an extra deck that was meant to be in the saucer and the saucer is way too short when you look at the thickness of the saucer and the size of the bridge module.
I saw it that way too . Might be that egg shaped bubble deck under the bridge only . Its at 9:50 . Too big a bump thing on top . Cardboard and tape crew to bubbke bump deck 5 . Report for recon. I think the main saucer you dropped to half the scale of the bridge
I thought so at first glance, too, but I think he's actually doing it correctly, based on these: www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/blueprints/stb-rescan/5.jpg
I'm amazed that cardboard actually held as long as it did, in all that wind, and outside humidity. That thing is huge, and it's just one cutaway slice! Thanks. :)
You're an amazing modeler, just as amazing as this creation of yours. I hope that when finalize that a suitable museum would display it as proudly as its builder. It deserves to be seen by many.
MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!YOU MUST BE CRAZY!!!! REAL GROUNDS FOR DIVORCE!!! I REALLY LOVE IT!! This has to be the MOST "star trekkie" project I have ever seen! The Brits ALWAYS come thru!!! We will be following this fantastic project.!!
Look Mavis, there's that man in the courtyard again. What's he got there? I think it's a really big bird bath. Thats nice. The things some people will do for our feathered friends.
I just LOVE how you have reimagined deck 1-2 with that maint corridor and stairs. People are going to whinge about it, but who cares, you have made the whole design feel more realistic with your creativity.
I’ve just stumbled across this, it’s an amazing project. For some reason I’ve always been fascinated by the scale and layout of the Enterprise, and this model is one of the best and most tangible demonstrations of that.
I can't wait to see how this project progresses I'm R2 builder myself but I'm a huge trekky. Live long and prosper I look forward to your next installment
Im unnaturally excited to see how you do the saucer lower decks. The weapons and weapons control spaces are pretty much a mystery and theres room to be creative.
I'm sure you've heard of the guys who have been building a full scale model of the Enterprise on Minecraft, they've recently finished it after 10 years of work I'm not sure which rendition of the Enterprise you're working on but I'd recommend giving it some research as reference!
With my work schedule and “the algorithm” I catch these as I can. Your work is great, insightful, and inspiring to trekkers, trekkies, and modelers. Thanks
15:34 It's amazing , especially the staircase and I admire you for making the video in the heavy wind that day! I'm looking forward to see the next step.
Wow it just gets bigger and better. I believe you when you say you will build it on your own if you have to . Your passion and skills will make it happen 🖖
Love what you're doing! btw I'm fairly confident the "teardrop" as you call it should only include decks 2 and 3, while deck 4 ought to be wider out into the sort of main bulge on top of the saucer along with deck 5.
Yes. You are absolutely correct. The whole bridge-superstructure is way to big (high) at this point. I thought it looked way off in the video, and I hope he can correct that mistake.
I think he's actually doing it correctly. It looks odd at the moment, but here are some blueprints: www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/blueprints/stb-rescan/5.jpg
The teardrop should probably only be about 1.5 decks high, honestly. The Franz Joseph blueprints are pretty inaccurate in most every shape and dimension. The ship is going to turn out looking very wonky following those plans.
I think the large open area with the big columns would make a great church for weddings, funerals, commendations, court martials / inquiries and of course sports. Also stellar cartography needs a large room, later the holodeck or some sort of a precursor of it. Anyways great video, keep it up. John S.
The stairs at 5:47 are amazing! Also, When you mentioned how everything looked like a real ship being built, I was expecting some "crewmen" doing welding and other construction work. 😀
I wish i lived in the U.K.. I would be honored to help finish building the Enterprise! ❤🖖! Praying someone will step up and offer a climate controlled building!!❤🖖
When he is done within 8 months is its not put in a Museum or some other protective facility id be shocked. This is a straight up masterpiece....... so far. Dont let me down man. I have a very strong feeling you wont...
Impresive work Sir. In the U.S. Navy, they aren't usually called stairs. They are usually called ladders. Most are only wide enough to have a single person climb up or slide down. For compartmentalized decks, they would be able to be airlocks and be able to be sealed with hatches. Aside from that, I can find no real faults with what you have built if I had the money I would try and probably fail to build that and a huge metal building to keep it in on display on my property.
OH DUDE, THIS IS MASSIVELY EXCELLENT!!!! I HAVE JUST JOINED YOUR CHANNEL, TO BE ABLE TO WATCH YOUR PROGRESS. I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE FINAL CONSTRUCTION!!!! THIS IS LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ALL TREK ENTHUSIASTS!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼✅
Just found your channel and am blown away by the detail of the model. Once finished it belongs in a museum or some great venue. Fabulous work beyond anything I have seen.
The dedication and the concentration, the very focus and attention to detail really don't exist anymore in this day and age of now now now! The slow burn leading to ultimate satisfaction is a lost art. This is phenomenal and I know once you're done a rep from the studio or Museum will reach out to you.
I have a similar screen to you and I just love seeing your UA-cam on full screen, as I do not need glasses! I am just Loveling the detail you are putting into this and the proper work on the actual model! I honestly cannot wait! Bravo! P.S! I just learnt to take a fullsize screenshot of the clip when it is on the full size screen!
Where are you going to display this gorgeous ship? You've probably already told everyone. Just found your channel. Your creativity and attention to details are off the chart!! Thanks!! ❤🖖🖖
Truly incredible! I've been working on a 1/350 refit, but you've inspired me to get a TOS Enterprise as well and planning on making some sort of of scratch built super structure envisioning the phase between the original and the refit. 1/350 scale is going to be some tight work though.
If only the original designers and makers would have known the dedication and passion that their models inspired in fans. Absolutely incredible well done
Thank you for showing the size of this. Really love how you created the bridge furniture (chairs) and the other detail items. This is so crazy a build. Best of luck on the amazing project.🤗
Hey, hooo wow! That's so impressive as always. It's been a bit since I've had a chance to tune in. The progress you've made on your own is most impressive. Hopefully one day I'll be able to come over to Europe to see it in person.
It's a treasure, what a labor of love. I do wonder if the temperature and humidity changes will shorten its life however, the more uniform its environment, the longer it'll survive, and its survival is important!
That was just about one of the most mind-boggling things I've seen in a while. You, sir, are absolutely mad in the most delightful way! I wish there was some way I could help out! Best of luck! ^_^
I don’t even know what to say. I went to school for this and wow amazing the level of detail in attention to designing and constructing while keeping the design integrity of the original blueprint. I get nothing but wow.
Wow, just wow. Thanks for taking the time to move all this outside. It is REALLY impressive work. But almost the whole time I was afraid it would start to rain or that a big gust of wind would destroy the Enterprise. 😀
Don't forget the platform steps from the Captain's chair - Helm control level, up to the Science, Engineering & Communications stations. This is a FANTASTIC MODEL ! ! ! ! 🙂 L.L.A.P. ! 🙂

Stunning scale. This model deserves it's own temperature/moisture controlled room, when it's done.
You definitely need a 3d printer.
Lol, was thinking the same thing! Moisture control ❤🖖
Room Hell ! He's gonna need a stadium for this. Do you know how big this thing is gonna be. It's huge !
