- Another time-lapsed set up video! H.venator set up in a semi-natural nest set up. Using a LC ants ytong nest for their nest and some mulch with springtails, a larva rock and some moss inside their acrylic box.

Where are harpegnathos from?
Where did you get the acrylic box from? I would love to use such boxes for my future harpies and odonthomachus'.

Wonder they have good climbing skill.Don"t you apply some escape-prevention talc liquid (don"t know how to say) on the wall?? Or they would not interested on climbing if have enough space~?
I am afraid about they'll climb on the wall and I'll not able to open the shell.

I really like your set up. Just wanted to know how you are keeping the set up ventilated when the lid is down?
There is a small gap between the lid and the tank, so air can diffuse in and out :)
How are they doing now?
How did you feed them if the feeder insects would bury themsleves?
I would say that he would pre kill the insects as it’s a humane way to go as it doesn’t doesn’t let the feeders go through pain and risking workers being injured
@@formicaempires6385 you cant pre kill insects for this species of ants, they will just straight up refuse to eat non live feeders and i think like hunting more active prey
