I always thought I was a fan of funk music. I recently realized that funk is too monotonous, but Jamiroquai did the impossible. they reinvented funk and made go interesting and varied.

old comment of yours but I agree that the horn section is amazing here and it was daring to start the show with Hooked Up. Super challenging for the horn.. JK sounds almost as if he has a little cold and has difficulty to sustain vocal notes longer that evening. And people don't give enough credit to Simon Katz in this phase between 1995 and 2000. He is killing it in all these shows especially Ebisu 1995

In the 1990s I was consumed with Colombian & Puerto Rican salsa so I missed out. but I'm the son of a jazz man & I've always been into post 70s acid jazz. By now I have streamed every live performance online. Including Tokyo I think '95. Kay is one hell of a singer & star performer & the bands (damn horns are great) rigorously tight. Putting on real shows instead of ever calling it in. Severe late in life fan here. Better late than ......

I went to the concert in Rio a couple of years. Erykah Badu came first. Pregnant and awesome! Then... Jamiroquai with its best formation! I had a few stitches inside my mouth due to a dental surgery I’ve had a week before. Lost all of them singing in the first 30 minutes 😆

Eu conhecia a música desde 93, mas não sabia de quem era porque as rádios não falavam o nome da banda. Fui descobrir por meio da MTV que era When You Gonna Learn, e a banda era Jamiroquai. Desde então, comecei a acompanhar. O Jamiroquai dessa época era foda demais. Uma das melhores bandas que já houve.

Stuart Zender was a genius ... There are really 2 different listenings of Jamiroquai ; 1 with him and 1 without . I can't imagine what this band would have became if he would have stayed the bass player !

Esta fué su mejor época; en la última gira x Sudamérica lo vi en una entrevista y cuando le preguntaron si estaba contento de venir dijo muy honestamente: " no, prefería estar en mi casa con mi familia; pero debo complir con mi contrato y trabajar"...en ese momento me chocó, pero comprendí que todos llegamos a cierta edad dónde lo que disfrutábamos se convierte en rutina y no nos dá la misma satisfacción de antes...y eso se refleja en el escenario.

Esta fue su mejor formación sin duda. Pero me sentiría mal si Rob y Paul ya no estuvieran en la banda, ya que ellos han hecho su aporte a la banda también.

Esta fué su mejor época; en la última gira x Sudamérica lo vi en una entrevista y cuando le preguntaron si estaba contento de venir dijo muy honestamente: " no, prefería estar en mi casa con mi familia; pero debo complir con mi contrato y trabajar"...en ese momento me chocó, pero comprendí que todos llegamos a cierta edad dónde lo que disfrutábamos se convierte en rutina y no nos dá la misma satisfacción de antes...y eso se refleja en el escenario.
