I can see people's schedules probably have the biggest impact on the struggle to eat healthy like you stated earlier about busy work days. My biggest struggle is financial issues and not wanting to cook for just myself although ultimately that's what ends up happening. I love to cook and meal plan my meals, i have no issue with that. My issue is how much of what i cook should i be eating? Do i eat small portions, but then I’m still hungry and that can cause me to eat bad after cause I’m still hungry or do i eat till I’m full but then i feel i ate to much. Ugh it’s a constant battle it feels like. And how many carbs or how much protein. 😢 idk
the hardest thing for me for cooking is mainly how to grocery shop for healthy meals

I am watching this eating a random bowl of the rest of the things in my fridge after realizing a few ingredients for the "recipe" I wanted to make had gone bad and this sorta random bowl is so good! Had a few things prepped already in the fridge that needed to be eaten and just like you said I pulled a veggie, a protein, a carb and a yummy sauce and used up all the things I needed to in my fridge and it turned out so good!

Not knowing what to cook, not having time to cook and even not having enough time to sit and eat during my crazy day :( so confused about what recipes to make because I don't always feel like eating or having the meals I prepped
River is exactly like my little doodle, she sits and listens and watches me all day LOL we call her "nosey Rosie" :)

Hi Sami! Sorry if this is so random, but I was just admiring how you navigate your health issues, for example your white blood cell count, etc. Your method of taking things more of the holistic path is so admirable and an inspiration! I really would love to do the same, but I find myself struggling since I didn't grow up with that lifestyle and people still look at me crazy when I don't take the easy route. If you wouldn't mind sharing, I was wondering how you go about doing your research into finding a different solution to traditional medicine? I've got some new recent health concerns and want to start my journey without meds, but have no idea how to get honest information anymore. Any help would be beyond amazing
Brianna, I am so excited for you girl. I would say you are already giving yourself permission to let the holistic approach come your way. I think each doctor or practitioner gets you closer to the next. Be open, maybe look to who some people you follow are using and connect with that doctor or at least that "type" of doctor near you and get interested and dive in!

ALOT...I wanna cook more & eat healthy but some of my challenges are variety with recipes I can't eat the same thing all week he'll no, time, and just the motivation!!!>/I t hasn't been my season of cooking for almost 7 yrs lol all I cook are pastas mostly lol❤ I've learnt to flavor those up pretty good lol😂😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😊❤

12:34 I don’t have a car and my partner and I work a lot so grocery shopping is always an ordeal. We keep trying to be more proactive but when we have time off we’re usually just pooped. It does need to be higher on our priorities though.

love this video! I have been loving meal prepping lately because i've started eating foods based on my cycle so at the beginning of the week I check what phase of my cycle i'm in and prep foods based on that. The book "in the flo" by Alisa Vitti reakky inspried me.
I do shift work so timing is difficult! I work various shifts. My work can start from 8 am - 4pm. I can get off anywhere from 4-11 pm. I eat my meals at different times each day and it throws off my bodily cues. Paired with if it doesn’t sound like it will be perfectly satiating I don’t want to eat it, so I’ll end up snacking or not eating until I’m ravished. 😂

I'm the queen of a sheet pan recipe! I don't think it has to be boring either. I make an amazing Greek sheet pan dinner that take very little time and I have plenty of leftovers for the week.

Time and ideas are the toughest thing for me! I am just like you and I like to keep things simple, nutritious, but also support my health goals. So finding a recipe that meets those criteria can be tough!

This is exactly what I needed right now as I’m going through a cooking rut at the moment… the biggest challenge for me when it comes to healthy eating is actually being able to afford the groceries and foods required, and often my perfectionism is getting in my way when creating something and I want it to be AMAZING otherwise it doesn’t feel worth eating.
mhm so understand love. Allow this to be a time of play. Put things together that don't make sense. It doesn't need to make sense.

For me, my biggest challenge with food and nutrition is not knowing how to fuel myself properly or know how much I need. I struggle in understanding what portions to use, what balance looks like and how to truly listen to my body and follow this intuition. I feel like i need to fill a whole around nutrition & fitness in order to move forwards but knowing where to start seems so overwhelming xx
mhmm I am so with you my girl. I think start to get curious with the foods you are eating. When you go in for a meal, start with your protein, carbs, and healthy fats. when you are eating, ask yourself how your belly is feeling and pay attention to when you start to get full. Also putting your fork down in between each bite is super helpful to cultivate the mindfulness! I am so excited for you to start this journey

I cook the steak all the way. Once it is cooked, I add the rest of the ingredients and let it simmer for about 20 min!

Watching this video as I've been in a recent rut with cooking inspiration - became so passionate about it and have lost that spark, but giving myself grace..."we go through seasons and seasons are okay." The perfect reminder! My biggest struggle with healthy eating is making sure I am fueling enough to support my body and workouts - definitely important with Brynley's program starting tomorrow!
