Moving to Sacramento from the Bay Area, it's taken a while to find good diverse restaurants that compare to the Bay but here are some gems: Gunther's Ice Cream, Drake's Barn (To hang out and drink good beer), Tower Cafe, The Kitchen, Kru, Bacon & Butter and Binchoyaki. Hope you get another chance to try food in Sacramento
let me invite you to the hidden gems of Sacramento.... it's all people not store... Sacramento eats, if u cant find any sellers go to stockton in Angels Camp
Great job! Maybe next time you’re in town give a try to the dumpling house at 6821 Stockton? See how it holds up? It’s my favorite Sacramento dumpling spot… So far! Thanks again.
So glad you did a road trip to Sacramento! I go up there once a month on Sunday mornings and I’m definitely going to have to get bread/sweets at the bakery! Loving your channel I just discovered you a couple days ago. ❤❤
Yes, it's probably more Elk Grove but I did spend some time in Sacramento too which was why I named the video "What To Eat in Sacramento" Good to know for future reference though!
Best Ramen place in Sacramento? IMO, Ryujin Ramen House in Downtown Sacramento, corner of S & 19th street; same parking lot as Safeway. Black garlic is my favorite. Kids love their fried rice.
How is this restaurant so popular? Journey to the dumpling is awful. It is so bad. I had it delivered a couple times and each time it was bad. I don’t know how you can destroy green onion pancakes. It should not taste like uncooked flour that’s chewy or rubbery. I must admit, those noodles do look good in this video, but I would not eat there again.
I've tried them 3 times and for me, Journey to the Dumpling is not good. The chili oil is tastless and everything about their food is too basic. They can't compete with the old Yang's noodles 3 years ago. Too bad, the owner retired and closed down the place.Journey to the Dumpling's beef roll is so bad!
Disagree, Yang's beef soup noodles was tasteless; however, the beef rolls was the house special, the best. Journey to the Dumpling, as much as you dislike it, it's the best in the sac and Elk Grove areas. Pan fried buns, vegetable dumplings, chicken dumplings, soup dumplings, beef soup noodles and sweet and tangy Peking spare ribs are all good.
That was an Elk Grove tour not a Sacramento tour!
Can I have a Roseville, Folsom and Granite Bay tour as well 😁
It was?? Oh my! 🎉
Elk Grove is in Sacramento 😒 South side
I grew up a few miles south of Oak Park, IL. Illinois also has a suburb named Elk Groove Village.

Yes, definitely worth a try!
Journey is killing the dumpling house but it’s not bad.

Sorry to hear you didn't share the experience I did. In my opinion, the chili oil and dumplings were full of flavor.
