You get to have it by doing the thing that you hate to do, but do it like you love it. Because when you do this, you prove to yourself, you prove to your ancestors and bloodline, you prove to God or the universe that you are disciplined and motivated and that no matter what happens you are the person that will get it done. But this is built. The more you do it, the more your brain will want to choose to do difficult things because after that difficult thing is done you'll receive more long lasting dopamine. For me I hate running. I absolutely hate every single thing about running. I never feel like doing it. It makes my knees hurt and my ankles hurt. But I do as if I love to do it. The mental peace and clarity I get after it's done is completely priceless

@@merncat3384 80% of it is mental my friend, it's really not miserable. You gotta have that mindset where you choose voluntary discomfort and delay gratification for a better reward later. Don't just push yourself, you don't want to get burnt out, but love yourself! Discipline is the strongest form of self love. Just don't go TOO much, you gotta look out after yourself y'know? When you go to push yourself in the moment remind yourself that you are doing this thing because you have too much respect for yourself, your ancestors died of tooth infection and fought saber toothed tigers so some discomfort your way isn't anything and too much love for yourself to reject being a disciplined individual but rather choosing to be a lesser version than what you could be. This is where reward systems come into play, when you do something that's hard, have a little reward for yourself afterwards. Punishing yourself only will just screw with your mental health, but curating your life to give you more power will build mental resilience and fortitude. We do this so that when a situation or problem arises that life will inevitably throw, it isn't nothing because of the kind of person we've built ourselves into that can be calloused to adversity.
Was so angry today at work but listened to motivation untill this before sleep and pushed me to work out very hard for about 15 minutes now I can sleep well
Long story short i've literally been in the middle of I'll be a heart attack literally.. And left the hospital did my job and came back to the hospital.. How hard is it to wake up? And go out and get it and be hard.. Trust me when you think you're dying nothing else matters.. My doctors don't even know how i've done it.. Just saying life tough sometimes.. Hope you guys all figured out. I'm still trying to figure it out. I'm 3 months with one panic attack and another that felt like I was dieing where I was low on magnesium and potassium..but it felt like a heart attack.. Hearing this video I don't think they would last in my position. Or anybody who's ever felt what i'm feeling.. God bless anybody having anxiety depression or panic attacks.. It can get better but it's gonna be a long road..
