These printer companies are terrible. They modified the tops and put ridges and spaces to complicate the process. Even if you fill the cartridge exactly the printer says its out and won't work properly. Just spent hours troubleshooting why it won't print properly...It's like the printers can detect that you're trying to re-use a finished printer cartridge. This is ridiculous...another thing, printers that won't work if location isn't activated? Sending you messages to order directly from Canon? Crazy!!! I miss the old model printers. 🙄
Great video!! Many little details of things I had not done while refilling my cartridges. Is there a way to tell if you have damaged the little square pad at the bottom of the cartridge (when the ink sponge is removed)? I am having a hell of a time with my color cartridge and wondering if I have damaged the small square pad somehow. Thanks for you help!!! Your video is the best video and I have watched tons!!!
You didn't show how to refill the 'color' cartridge - what color is the 'top' hole? What color goes into the 'bottom-left' hole .. the 'bottom-right' hole?
you can also look at the jets on the bottom of the head and see the overspray. but replier was right ab the toothpick. it would really suck to mix colors 😭 although it might be kinda cool....
They are bloody idiots. They have done it deliberately to scam people and urge them to buy cartridges every now and then which doesn't even contain advertised ink quantity
@@wendymentzer9484Look for the area where the top of the cartridge meets the body, insert a flat head screwdriver or something similar and give it a gentle tap. It pops right off.
Hey can you help me your video helped I have the Canon TS 3522 however the ink refill worked a couple times but now it's printing blanks after I refilled it last night any tips on how to fix this please reply ASAP thank you please note I clicked the reset button held at 3 seconds and I also held down the stop button turn the printer on and off and I also held the printer cartridge against a paper to see if any ink is coming out and the part on the cartridge that looks like a film strip yeah I pressed that against a tissue paper to see if any ink comes out and the ink lines black and the color comes out fine so I don't know why it's not printing help me out please thank you
Okay I have an update so the printer the Canon TS 3522 I believe its 275 cartridge it's printing color but it's not printing all black that's crazy is there any way to fix this
@@shawbrothersgirl2740 you need to prime the cartridge. this video is technically incorrect, the little hole is to create a partial vacuum, the new hole should be near it and sealed with tape.
When first installing it the printer will ask for permission to update the firmware. If the firmware is updated will this cause the printer to refuse printing after the cartridge is refilled ?
He didn't show the entire process , the most important step is to reset these cartridges or reset printers ink level monetering system , otherwise printer wont work properly still says ink level low or no ink
@@annlee9814it will continue to say low ink. These printers are designed to remember how many pages were printed and not the actual ink level. Keeping printing until it says “OUT” of ink. Once you get that message press and hold the stop button and that should do a reset.
"Look it's perfect"... is that because you used a brand new ink cartridge? The one he put in at the end was not the one he refilled in the video. You can clearly see it's a 245 when he puts the sticker back on. And it's crooked and full of ink smudges afterwards, so I have a hard time beliving the pristine 275 he put in at the end was ever refilled. I was hoping for concrete evidence that this would work for my specific printer before trying it myself but I just can't trust this video.

Where the heck did the 246 cartridge come from? You were supposed to do the 276 3-color cartridge you pulled out of the printer? sheesh

There is another video that shows how to cancel the ink refill light so it will work no problem.

The new 275 Fine cartridges have no indent to make a hole for the needle to go in and dispense ink.

There's supposed to be away to refill by popping off the top with a flathead screwdriver without drilling a hole.
You just saved me so much time - my starter cartridge top just popped right off with my fingers. Much love

I had no issues after updating

When you finish it,Reset print Low ink not affect print,choose the comfirm,it will contiue work.

The chip is not recognized. Use an eraser to clean the chip some times. If it still not work, buy new one.
