@@Haulinbassracing just had 2 full grids in AC lfm in the ferari 296 which isnt even the most popular series.. nothings going to compare to iracing for the time being but LFM provides a fun competitive system akin to iracing for multiple sims

It’s definitely a mutually beneficial relationship. Fully agreed on the issue of mods in AC with LFM. To be fair, they do provide links to the mods, but it’s still an extra step for a lot of new people. ACCs population on LFM has definitely dropped fairly hard after AMS2 came to LFM, will be interesting to see how much of that is from the “newness” of AMS2 on LFM, vs people leaving ACC
Yeah on AC1 they had way to many tracks running simutaniously. This season more series are running same track whats a good direction. But GM is right. Also they really need to make less series. 12 AC Series just way too much. Half of it is more then plenty. Playerbase dropoed cause before you had 4 nicely ranked servers each race. Now its one cause theres too much choice. This leads to lower driving standarts and people who leave. LFM needs to gets its priorities right and get rid of unnecessary races. 4 Series each game is enough. But need to admit: ACC Multiclass Races saved LFM this season too. Only servers which are always filled to top.
Personally I think the ACC numbers are only down because the track selection this week is crap. Pure coincidence, lucky AMS2 was there to fill the gap.

@@abutre81Yea...true. the fact that they use this Ferrari 296 mod wich is so bad is beyond my understanding when you have so many good GT3 cars made by Kunos.
Agreed. ACC and AMS2 share the distinction of feeling like games out of the box, and not weird tech demos with a game strapped to the side of it. For quite a while, AMS2 has probably been the most complete package for someone who just wants to sit down, open a game, and drive in single player. AC1 is a more complete package with mods, and you definitely needed to go elsewhere for multiplayer, but for single player it was fine. And sure, the physics are a bit weird, and everything is much too buggy, but what sim can't you say this about? Add LFM to plug the hole in the multiplayer, and suddenly you have a very attractive sim. But this should also serve as a warning to developers. In the current market, it doesn't matter how good your physics are, if you don't have some way for players to hop into a relatively competitive, relatively clean, relatively uncomplicated multiplayer race, you'll be dead on arrival. There are too many titles now offering this for you to compete without also offering this.
@studlydudly I can confirm this. As long as you own a car in a race, you can race in that race online. You just can't practice offline or use the other cars.
I think its the other way around to be fair lol. If Lfm get involved with Le Mans Ultimate you may see numbers on AMS2 drop once again particularly if all the big streamers jump on it once the new update drops next week.

Base game goes on sale for about £10ish in Steam sales, and the Season Pass, which covers all DLC content released until mid 2023 usually goes for 50% or more off, and that covers a whole load of content. You don't need to buy it all when starting out. DLCs that came out from late 2023 onwards, can be picked up a la carte in packs, and most will also go on sale this Winter Steam sale. The all inclusive bundle can also be used to complete your collection later if you own the SP, with the savings applied automatically.

All lfm and ac needed was proper car track combo's all vrc cars, rss cars thats most car series taken care of then some decent tracks simple, its just lfm choice of car track combo's it'll fail on ams2 to if they choose poor car track combo's
The problem in AC is, there is not a lot of free content mods that can be meshed together that have good BOP. Also a lot of paid content that comes from different studios is not well BOPed (gt3, lmh, tcr,...). They should concentrate on full grids from same developers, or those that are well balanced. Just ditch gt3 and lmh. They are already available in other sims extensively. Why not go for something, others don't have, plenty of good content available. For example: rss gt1 2003-2005+kunos mc12, urd dtm 2018, ASR f1 1991, Bazza f1 1975, vrc lmp1 2000 or 2019, urd gte 2018+488gte from Yahzerod.
They just need to add GT3 series for AC and AMS2 and maybe it will be definitely saved. Multiclass is not the graal of competitive simracing. Be aware, LMU is coming with GT3 and Championship system 😉
LFM wouldn't need saving if ACC wasn't so long in the tooth and stale. AC LFM could be great, but the car/track choices are the same old boring crap... Formula 3, GT3, Mazda Cup, etc. And it looks like they may do the same thing in AMS2 LFM.. GT1 looked very promising, but they're running it regularly. Same with Group A
I moustly agree, but i dont think AMS2 easy to drive after 1.6 patch. You was testing it moustly on hard rubbered track in ideal conditions with basic setups, not realy pushing it. When you trying to get fast times on LFM minimizing the wings and with different road temperature and moustly on light rubbered track it's not fucking easy to drive at all. Another thing i want to add, some people complains about bad AMS2 netcode. I think netcode is very good but if you mention in lobbys almost everyone has red or yellow ping. I always have full green, but looks i'm only one happy person. I live in north west Russia, the Finland is near from me, so me and people from scandinavian countries are green. Looks like Reiza keeping game servers in Russia for some reasons =). It would be better to locate servers somewhere in NY, so i would have 110 ping but over players especialy brazilians would have less then 300.
The way the dedicated server works in AMS2 is that there is a dedicated server that configures all the settings and orchestrates the session. But when it comes to the actual host, it is not dedicated. The actual host is the person that joins the lobby first. This means that if the first person to join the lobby is geographically close to you, you will get good netcode.
Set WR time at donington it's way way way more forgiving to drive than most Sims but what makes it hard is that you have to really force the cars into the weard hover craft drift to go fast. It's like iracing is on 1 side with tires that die on and over the limit and AMS2 is on other side with you needing to drive with monster slides all the time. AMS1 and AC are more in the middle
@@RoarMcRipHelmet Thats not true. Person, who first joins the lobby just admin. Overwise if he will leave the session server would be dead, but thats never happend. You can check it by yourself.

I dont want to spend lots of time setting up a car… i just want to drive. But the ACC lobbies were often garbage. And as mentioned in this video… that’s the entire point about IRacing.. no the graphics aren’t the best nor is the feeling… but you were guaranteed to get into a lobby and stand a chance. I gave up ACC entirely due to lobbies being populated by kids on controllers and griefers. Now I focus on AMS2 and LMU. But the structure of IRACING and the protest system makes it much easier to get into a race where you may actually get to race.
@@rickswanracing3139Hate to say that but you can achieve within 103% even with default setup
I don't have time to wait around all day for one race, I understand lfm is a privately financed independent thing but at least 4 races should be held per day.
That's good to know. I really like AMS 2 but its multiplayer was pretty boring and empty.
This vid made me check how much I played ACC and I am on 28 hours but bought all the dlc. What is wrong with me?! I still blame you
FOMO, I have it too. I own every dlc for ams 2 and only drive the generic gt3's that come with the game.
If you were in charge of LFM, what cars/tracks would you run for AMS2?
I just went to go get AMS2 there, it's over 150 quid for the all inclusive bundle, too much for me atm. If there was a huge player base and good options for organizing online races / competitions I'd commit but i think i'll wait and see how things go first.
@@johnreilly4722 you don’t need to buy any of the tracks to race them online. You’d only need to buy some of the cars
Wait for the Steam Xmas sale, it will all be half price ( it was last week ).
You also don't have the issue of the community being fragmented as you don't need to own the DLC to race against those who do.
Did you use AI to edit your video? Not once did it get ACC logo correct 😂
Yeah because it's a joke, look up 'acc cement' for an example,it's quite funny if I say so myself
Still wondering how a sim-racing site can be among the slowest 0.00001% of sites
Hey dude, after you've published your last video about custom FFB file for AMS2 many people asked you to share some information on where to find this file. You must have noticed that, so why didn't you respond and put the information in the description? - not nice buddy :/
You simply copy the text in description of that video, and paste it into the document folder, as it said in description. That's it
And ffb is amazing
Ask if you need some help, I'll answer
@@vitprochazka6868yea. Those few lines of code transformed AMS2 for me. It should really be the default out the box.
@@RichAbe23Same. I’ve had the game since release and could never spend much time with it because it felt terrible. After the ffb mod, it fixes everything I hated about feeling disconnected.
AC1 not succesfuo on LFM? I beg to differ. I still race on those servers weekly and the participation is great.
I blame NoHesi 😂
ooga booga
They just need to add GT3 series for AC and AMS2 and maybe it will be definitely saved.
Multiclass is not the graal of competitive simracing.
Be aware, LMU is coming with GT3 and Championship system 😉
How much are they paying you?
Watch others videos of GM about ams2 and you will notice, that GM actually don't like a few, but major thing about ams2
What are you on about dude ? 😂
Same with Group A
No battle!!!
It's way more forgiving compared to AC that's for sure. I like playing both tbh
Or did AMS2 save LFM 😁
Stop reading the comments whilst you're streaming
Man. Always crying about the "Difficulty" of RF2 configuration is totally wrong
yeah 100% their choice for AC iss garbage.... weird mods instead of actually good and original cars with much better optimisation and realism..... I stopped driving it with all those weird content.
Yep. And also some weird track mods with low quality mesh and performance in terms of fps.
@@HDRGamingHub not only visuals BUT surfaces XD I remember one track..... I was training on kunos track and then downloaded that custom moded one and I was all over the place, grip was like it was raining XD.... All they need to to is use original KUNOS content and that is it! No matter what modder they will never have adequate resources, knowledge and Information! They might be good but they are not KUNOS good especially as a team ;)
@@cor_racing The only moded tracks that are good are the ones from Reboot Team.
iracing was to complacent, everyone surpassed them in every way
Here is a live comment
Saved LFM? 🤔 Not sure LFM needed saving tbh
Not sure many people would use LFM when most games have ranking built into them but AMS2 probably won't ever have it.
I hope they stay away from gt3. Gt4s feels better to race....but for the love of God, anything besides gt3.....
Utter bullshit. Rf2 lfm was way easyer, because u did not have to remember servernames etc and u could just launch it straigth from the lfm website. Last nail to rf2 lfm coffin was rf2 own ranked online system, witch is even easyer. Only downside was the mods u had to download, but for ac lfm u have to fiddle with the mods even more... This is sort of old sim jargon that is based on rf2 of the past. Everybody is just repeating it because it will give u approval of other sim racers whom don't even use rf2 anymore. It's too little too late, but now when everything seems to work with esase and reliably people all ready left the sim. This is not some enthusiast rant, but the dogma of rf2 difficulty has not been true for year or two, but u hear it again and again. It's like those myth's that majority like talk about without real objective experience.
Utter bullshit. Simply sort the street courses and then you will see the LFM servers there accordingly. The only thing you have to remember is your split
@@ThePape78 but still not as easy.. I can live with it, but to say that rf2 lfm was harder ro use is just repeating the simracing fairy tale. I wish u could register in the game, but guess we have to wait that
Imagine thinking drag and dropping a couple of mods in CM is "fiddling". GT7 sounds more up your alley man.
@@drconflict629 Haven't got ps... Point was that people rant rf2 being difficult to use while installing cm and bunch of mods on ac. That ain't true. It's all about refrence here. I do have ac with all the bells and whistles myself, I have to say that this days rf2 is more plug and play
@@Pandomar1 not easy ? A click on roadcourses and scroll three seconds?
LFM saved AMS2, That sim was dead as far as MP goes.
Acc is boring and lame, I undownloaded that 6 months ago, its just lame, theres no mp choices, "race our gt cars" gee thanks.
Lets see if there are mad people here.
Clickbait. LFM doesn't need saving, AMS2: Emperor's new clothes.. my god, what an utter pile'o'shite. Drives like a roadcar on dirt, nothing like an actual racecar. Hopefully the hype will wear off and some sanity will resume.
Yes, you tell em. Woe betide all those people for having fun. I assume you've driven a real racecar at the limit? Good for you.
@@mikecroshaw9233 Actually yes, a few. Lucky me :)
@@marks285 well, I've also heard the opposite from other people with track experience. And even the pros can't agree on which sim is most "realistic". It's an endless and tiresome debate. So my view is I'd like to drive whatever gives me most enjoyment and provides a good level of immersion. In my case, that is AMS2, and a bit of Raceroom and occasionally some LMU. None of them will really compare to the real thing so why not drive what you enjoy? Clearly you don't enjoy AMS2, but I don't see why you have to come long and rain on everyone else's parade.
I thought that was you!
That's toxic AF, fortunately sim racing community is somewhat adult and not as toxic as other games communities. Im enjoying ams2 so much and you have problem with that? Wtffff dude 😂(I mean not only me who's enjoying it!)
You must own the cars. You do not have to own the track.
