I made half of this recipe as a test cake.. i made full of it for a friend.. i am going to make a tiered cake again with this recipe.. one thing common in these three situation is that everyone loveeeeeddd it and i bagged a big opportunity for making a cake for like 100 people now.. thank you maison olivia for being generous enough to share this recipe.. love you. Hello - if I may ask - what kind of honey would work best in this recipe? Or if it's easier - what wouldn't work? Your honey looks very pale compared to the ones I have around me. I imagine the sweetness and flavor would change dramatically if I used strong honey.

I did this cake recently and it was so delicious!. The lemon curd wasn't super sweet and the sponge was moist and soft. Amazing cake.
