@@s2wuolf508 For upscaling, FSR2 is currently the best option IMO. DLSS is a blurry mess but if you don't mind the softness, it will offer the most stable image. TAA just uses FSR1, which doesn't look good.
When it comes to optimized settings he's better than Digital Foundry. If you compare this video to Digital Foundry's you'll see that Digital Foundry left out important details about each setting.
@@ImStillWoody Yes, I noticed because digital foundry was using a RTX 4070 and their optimal settings were Cinematic and high on Wukong, and not considering mid range GPUs or CPUs, for me was a super lazy video hahahha this man takes is time to compare all settings at once, and we can get a better idea on wich setting is best for our GPU
digital foundry has a lot of bloat, they talk a lot now a days, of you go to their first videos you just have comparisions and nothing else now a days they just talk, talk and more talking
No one will ever do it as plainly, and as detailed without spending too long, other than the necessary, explaining each setting. Thank you for your contribution. The Emperor commends you.
Wow, very detailed explanation, even going into how different settings might affect each other, which updates are planned and showing clearly how the settings change. The emperor is pleased, brother.
Simply the best channel around for optimized settings. I would just like to add that as of today, DLSS works wonderfully. Super crisp and the nicest by far on my computer with also nice performance, compared to day one.
Bro.. broo..broo.. just found your channel and you made my 1080Ti go stable 60fps. THANK YOU so much. I was playing at 40-50fps with FSR 2, now I get 60 fps like a champ making the game more enjoyable. - subbeddddddddd
theres something wrong with cpu usage, my 7800x3d always gets hot, even if i limit fps to 30 temps dont go down hahah, doesnt make any sense and never seen that before in any game.

I would lie if i said i watched the whole vid, i usually skip to the Optimized Settings part, which you graciously always timestamp. That's honorable and even tho i dont watch the full vids, i always like them. Thank you.
Much appreciated, I must admit I'm just resigned to the "DLSS or slideshow" reality of current games, but the blur is so bad in this game I started looking for a solution. As a bonus your 3060 Ti rig is near identical to mine :D
Wow this was such a game changer, my game was looking bad and struggling, now it looks amazing and its smooth asf edit: specs are ryzen 5600g, 2060ti 8gb, 16ram, nvme. it really was struggling on low, the dynamic FSR and having some of the less taxing settings on high/ultra made it really look awesome and run super good

Thanks to Your channel I can play starfield with great FPS without loosing much of graphics quality. And now Space Marine 2. Thank you so much SIR!. FOR THE EMPEROR!!
Thanks for this. I can hit about 80-100fps, but I set these settings and locked it to 60 gsync on or off and the game feels great. I prefer GS as I don't like screen tear, but that's a personal pref. KUDOS
Wow perfect timing 🙏 just in time for me to play tomorrow because i dont pay for early access! Though i would have tested it via "other methods" if i wasnt binging astro bot this weekend
Now I can buy the game. Seriously, I was worried on my low end pc. I got an I7 with a 1080ti. I never play max settings. I always shoot for 1440p 60fps , with low-mid settings, but I don’t even know with this game.

thanks for the vid. i decided to fart around and just put ultra on everything(turned off motion blur obviously) and never experienced any dropped frames. awesome to see how well optimized the game is, but i'll be using your recommendations now.
great video! thank you! very nice side by side comparisions! o7 I wish we could use reshade for this game, I have an OLED monitor and could make it look much better. I'm surprised this game doesn't natively support HDR!

Still surprised an AMD sponsored title didn't launch with FSR 3 or 3.1.
I know right. The devs said in a blog post they're adding it down the road though which is good.
everything about this game screams rushed on pc

I think the out of video memory you get when using ultra is a bug because I get it too using a 4070 at 1080p.

Try Luma sharpen with reshade

for better DLAA/DLSS you need to apply image sharpening in nvcp and force DLSS preset E with DLSS tweaks
