Thermal+ - I Finally Got It In.

- First of all, this is not a comb. I already know what yall are thinking about.
This is a personal build and honestly I wasn't too happy with the "Rose" part of the color of this board. It's way more gold and lacks the rose-gold colorway I usually long for. But the Thermal + is a fun board with a really awesome design. The top portion of the board is what really stands out the most. It's almost like they are heatsink incorporated into the chassis of the keyboard itself.
But more importantly I used a new updated switch called the SP Star Meteor v3. Now, I love SP Star switches and these were a very welcomed addition to my collection. I feel like they are such a solid switch with a good stock spring and requires very little lubricant to get a really nice deeper sound profile.

Loved the talk at the beginning. End of the day, we can’t control what others say or do, or how most situations play out, but we can control how we let those external factors affect us or how we react to them. Learning to let most of those negative external factors roll off our shoulders instead of letting them drag us down is such an important step to being happier and more successful in all that we do.

It's a big moment in life for everyone when they realize that a massive number of things that we concern ourselves with are unimportant at a deeper/longer-term level. Meaningless things can really get us down. And it's important to recognize those things and weed them out of our lives. They only hold us down. Gotta live this life for ourselves or else we will never be ourselves and we will never be happy in our own skin.
Appreciate the content. Always enjoy watching, and definitely enjoy the addition of the talk at the beginning.

Do you have a link to buy the blue tool to add switch easily when the plate don't have a crew ?
Yea the first run had it with a dope red color for the case and plate option. Also you could get it in other layouts besides hhkb for the 60. Wish they made optional plates to buy for round 2.

Sorry to hear you've been stressed out. It's easier said than done but what helped me with my stress is just slowing down and not worrying too much about getting everything done at once. Don't forget there will always be tomorrow for things to do!

Have you had any leaf ticking issues with the V3 Meteors? Read about it on one person's review, but I'm wondering how prevalent this might be. Another great video Alex, take care of yourself! :)

I low key kinda wish I got the 65 but ordered the seq2 60. Literally just got a week or so ago and prob ordered it in 2020 I think or maybe 21. Either way I think it was about 2 years. thats crazy I know covid messed it up but havent been doing group bus any more. Still not got a few sets. Plus the instock products are really good now.
I always called this board the Wayne Static. RIP.
It's really too bad that Renan (owner/founder of RAMA) has turned his back on long-time customers and fans. The way they're treating customers, some of which who have given them thousands of dollars, is unacceptable. I won't touch RAMA with a 10ft pole anymore.

The v3 Meteors sound amazing, but that's kind of par for the course since they're literally just V2 Meteors with V1 sound... honestly I felt like as switches they're super unnecessary since I really don't think there's much sound difference between the blue and grey housing Meteors, and the 63.5g spring is so much more generic compared to the original 57g spring which was really really nicely weighted. Still, they sound good so ig that's all that matters. Big question is where the fuck are Meteor Orange v3s, I want them lol

Sounds surprisingly good imo. I have an R1 thermal and it sounds much less solid than your +.

I am a linear guy, but want to try some tactiles... I am a light switch guy, like NK silk yellows kinda guy...

I’m also a linear guy but my favorite tactile switches are the Boba U4t, if you like thocky sounding keyboards, this is a good option

RE RAMA: Every RAMA impression should be caveat-ed with the absolute disdain the company has for people giving them their money and suggesting *anyone* give them money is actually negligent. I'm *still* waiting on a Kara and I'm SO glad I didn't shell out for something like a thermal. Other designers (like percent studio) were maligned for less and the cavalier attitude RAMA's studio is treating folks who invest in their products is beyond cavalier.
DO NOT GIVE RAMA MONEY FOLKS.
