I was there as boy of 5 years old, August 12 1970 International Hotel Las Vegas, and it was the first time I saw Elvis in concert. It made me an eternal Elvis fan in heart and soul.

I know what you mean. I have it and never fire of watching Elvis at his best in so many different situations..You actually get a chance to see the real Elvis.😊 😉 Miss him still 💘and will as long as I live. What a legend!!!!!

I was banned from watching. My buddies and I watched so often that my wife cut me off. We memorized every gesture, audience members. My best friend didn’t like Elvis. I made him watch it. He’s an Elvis fan now. Cried like a baby at Graceland. Amazing performer. Simply the best.
+Sheilah Robin! Exactly, I watched even uncountable times and I was even there at August 12 1970 as a boy of 5 years old and it made me an eternal Elvis fan with heart and soul!
Hard to believe that these performances were like over 40 years ago, they seem as fresh and powerful and original as ever…the first time I saw Elvis I was six years old and even then….I already knew there was something unique about this person and I remember thinking to myself “what am I looking at?” …because I’ve never seen anything like this before? Lol.
That year I asked for a record player and played those 45 vinyl records everyday….all day’.

Sadly, we lost Ronnie Tutt recently, a incredible talent who was really the backbone of the TCB band. All his gang are mostly gone now, having lived full lives that sadly Elvis never did. That said, man could Elvis have a crowd eating out of the palm of his hand, that was his true gift.
It's so sad! We will keep them alive ❤️

Jane H commenting …. I love Elvis’ Vegas concerts, especially in the early 1970s, & yes he just has so much energy. Love the way he did the karate kick at the end. Elvis had a black belt to 8th degree in Karate, & he used his Karate to keep him fit, & it sure seems to have worked. He is simply gorgeous & I’ve been a big fan since I was 15, & my husband & my cousin too. We all came under the Elvis spell around the same time, way back in the mid-1960s, though we had all been listening to his songs on the radio since the 1950s, because Elvis was played a lot. Thanks for a great reaction.

him. Sometimes quite prepared for anything ( no undergarments).
There was a lot that went on during these Vegas shows that was
left out of this movie. Especially with the late night shows.
No one on the planet til this point had so much of everything like
this man did. Beautiful.
Elvis is on fire here and as always he is running the show, having a good time and just letting us in on the action! Elvis is so authentic. he is the real deal baby! Thanks for helping us keep the King alive! Every day I'm amazed at how much presence Elvis still has today. #Graceland forever!

One of the funniest stories I've read about Elvis is when he was in the studio in '67. That session they were doing Jerry Reed's guitar man and the guitarist couldn't replicate that Jerry Reed sound. So E had Reed brought in to pick on the track and the first thing Jerry Reed said when he met E was... "Damn Elvis! I'm kind of wishing I was a woman right now" 🤣😂🤣😂 E hit the floor laughing! I remember Jerry Reed telling that story.
I believe a lot of men felt that way and that's why
quite often they were not real kind to him.
I think they were uncomfortable feeling what they did.
He looked completely male yet had features that made him
Beautiful. Features usually associated with female beauty.
High cheekbones, long eyelashes, full lips and a lot of hair.
He was a dichotomy for sure.
As a woman I can say he was more beautiful than I ever was.😊

Thank you for that story! I can only wish I was in that room at that time. To witness Elvis laughing so hard like that would have been sheer joy in its self. Elvis was really larger than life.😊 it's no wonder that we can't forget the legend and I doubt we ever will. At least I pray we never do, because he was and is an unforgettable person!😊

Elvis was on his game there for sure. I agree with you that both songs are just awesome. 😊I only wish I could have been one of the ladies that got kissed by Elvis. It's no wonder they all went crazy over him. I mean he had the voice, the moves, the charisma and of course you can't forget the looks. He was the total package for sure. I always enjoy watching you as you do his videos. You really get into it.

Elvis is so dynamic, great songs, great strobo-effect. This is one of my favorite time and place for my time traveling bucket list. Only thing that bothers me are those still images... in my mind a wrong editing choice, but just a minor thing...

Just saw that Ronnie Tutt had passed and since you like his drumming . There is a dvd called ELVIS LIVES a Gaither music dvd. It was done for the 25th anniversary of Elvis death and they had ALL of his.backip singers,TCB band and orchestra. Played Elvis videos up on a BIG screen and all the singers and band down in front. And they played live while they pulled Elvis voice out. Ronnie was fantastic on the drums matching his moves with the video. Same with all the band and singers. It was CRAZY great. You will lose your mind on tjis one

I wish they would release some unseen footage.

He was born in England and moved to South Africa. I'm talking about the sixties here, just wondered if you're perhaps related. His record You don't live twice was great! Weird thing with that clip is that they added the audiences from Elvis on Tour from 1972 to this intro. And it’s an official release.
The fortage of the concert is from September 9th, 1970 in Arizona. The film crew from That's the way it is went there to film scenes from the concert to had on to the opening scene

Then Elvis on Tour used footage from the 1970 Arizona concert. Which wouldn’t make sense. You can compare scenes they are the exact same.
