John, I have been going down memory lane listening to my favorite Elvis tunes on your channel. I will be 75 soon and my mom’s really good friend loved Elvis too until the day she died. He is entertaining a fourth generation of fans. No reason to stop now. I think his music will go on. It wouldn’t surprise me if there is a compilation of his work at the Smithsonian.

glad you said that -- i'm in total agreement; did you know that Parker complained about Elvis' messed up hair at his '68 Comeback special stand-up session, but that's one of the things thT made him all the more beautiful -- & REAL -- when you're bouncing around all over the place you're hair should get messed up --unless it's plastered down w-tons of hairspray; i know his hair was sprayed in '68 but some was left untouched so it would fall down

1968 to 1970 elvis was the best elvis. He was at his physical best and artistic peak . I urge anyone to listen to the 1969 studio sessions he did. It's the greatest music he ever made

he is Great however i always smile when he did these songs in the 70s heard him say on a live concert after doing these ok thats done now we can sing hahaha he had to do them for his fans but didnt enjoy it as much anymore thats why he usually did them at the speed of sound hahaha making Ronnie really work to keep up with him hahaha

You always recognise the back up band, the Stamps and the Sweet Inspirations. When you do this in future please recognise “the unheralded one”, the little lady with the high voice Kathy Westmoreland. She was not part of the Sweet Inspirations.
You are one of the only few Reactors that mention Elvis’ band, backup singers. They were the best and helped Elvis to reach the greatest heights of performance.

Can you please see the version of "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" at ua-cam.com/video/BMWn99zKjSg/v-deo.html -- it is from this same show -- you'll recognize his damp, messed up hair -- his finish to the song is AMAZING - but DO NOT stop when the gold curtain comes down because there is a little more behind the curtain & there are no ads covering him up like some other version does.Thank you very much.
