@@wubranch1he threw for almost 400 yards in that game. He is literally the only reason they were in the game. Maybe you should blame the defense for that loss. Sure he made two mistakes. He was a sophomore and still learning. Just so we're clear that was also the only game he lost as a starter in college.

People were questioning JJ's arm strength coming into the draft. I don't know where they were getting that from. I think a lot of people just didn't bother watching Michigan's film, assuming they were just a running team. JJ has real arm talent. Yes, he needs to work on his levels trajectory but he is very coachable. The arm talent is there.
The weather has been great in the Twin cities this summer so the Vikings have been outside for these mini camps. Not a lot of teams can say that.
JJ needs to stop tapping the ball before he lets it go.That is broadcasting the timing of the pass.

the only thing i don't like about him is his long windup. almost reminds me of the slowest release, like Kerry Collins that gave away to all DBs to get ready... defense is so quick to react, that's the reason why QBs don't eye their WRs until the throw and a slow release can be detrimental like a slow release for a 3 pt specialist in NBA

You know a QB with a long windup? Randall Cunningham. It worked out pretty well for him. We'll see in the preseason how JJ does with defenders in his face.
