Awe thank you 😊 about 4 years now. When I started my channel I was only able to do art when my kids were taking a nap. So I thought naptime creations would be fitting for my channel name. Thanks for watching
Awe 😭 I'm sorry to hear that. I have days like that too though. This one sold a while back. I will be making more for my etsy shop next month when my kids go back to school. I will have more time for art then.
The best pyramid mold I’ve seen yet. The way the glitter from the bottom layer reflects onto the upper layers is amazing and the layers for once actually like go well with each other and match. I typically don’t like this mold because the layers on others don’t blend in together too well but this one actually does.
Awe thank you so much 💜 I love making them like this, a lot of people don't realize you don't have to fill the mold all the way. I like the look of the smaller ones like this more. 🌹 thanks for watching and taking the time to leave me such a kind comment. It means a lot to me 🥰
That is so beautiful. Do you sell them? If you do, how much? I would like to buy one for my baby girl she passed away and her color is purple. I would like to buy in her remembering please. Thank-you
Hi, thank you 💜 I'm so sorry for your loss. I do make them for my etsy shop. I am all out of these exact flowers but I have some similar ones. I got started on one today.
Thank you 🌹🤗 I did one using silica crystals to dry my flowers in this video. It's a longer video. Not a short. ua-cam.com/video/UK2y1LyLSoA/v-deo.html
Simply beautiful & I'm sure the sweet, dried purple rose may have a nice story too. A momento. I wonder IF you could do a wedding bouquet OR a special flower from a funeral🤔 Simply meaningful

I actually love this because now I’m going to do this with all the flowers I’ve gotten from my family’s funerals. I just have a bunch of dry flowers laying around hoping they don’t get broke and this is literally the perfect idea for that!
I just stumbled across your site all of your items are gorgeous. I wish I could make things like these especially, the prisms or pyramids. But, I can't get my Hans and fingers to corporate with rheumatoid arthritis. But, God bless you and your talent , how beautiful everything is.
Awe thank you so much 🤗🌹 I'm so glad you found me ❤️ so sorry to hear about your R.A my mom's friend has it and its awful. Super painful and it's hard for her to bake and cook. 2 things she loves to do. Some days are worse than others for her. Being in pain is the worst.
Thank you 🌹 unfortunately you can not use a fresh flower of any type. Resin hates moisture and water will cause the resin to not cure. Also fresh flowers will turn brown and rot. They need to be completely dry.
I'd like to see what kind of stuff you could come up with if you mixed some glow-in-the-dark powder/paint. Not sure if it's be totally opaque or not though...
The best way to dry flowers (former florist here) is to put them in silicon powder, not beads, powder. They will look like fresh live flowers. This is how forever flower dries their roses.
Thanks for the tip I'll have to try that. I have dried roses with silica crystals before and they looked nice. The color changed a bit but not too much with the silica crystals 🌹
Beautiful piece! I have a question. When it comes to layering your resin layers each day, do you make sure they're completely solid before pouring the next layer, or are they not yet completely cured before you pour? I want to get into resin art, and i was just curious about how to keep the layers from falling apart.
Awe thank you 💜🥰 I appreciate you 💗 I started making more of these yesterday and hurt my ankle somehow, I dont even remember hurting it but its super painful to walk today. I'm hoping it will be feeling better by this weekend so I can finish them up.
Thank you 🤗 I added some glitter into it and poured it into a coaster mold. I always have spare molds nearby to use any extra resin up. Thanks for watching 💜

You can get some roses from the grocery store and hang them upside down for 2 weeks to dry and practice on those before you use your daughters rose. I am unable to do custom orders for these because dry flowers are so brittle and fragile I'd be afraid they would crumble or get damaged being shipped to me.
When I got the roses from the grocery store before they ended up throwing them out, I had them tied up to anything that would allow them to hang upside down to dry and also kept them out of the walkways help too. It was crazy looking as they stuck out around the edge of the hanging light sconce in the dining room.
I've had that happen too. The only colors that look good dried upside down are yellow, orange and pink. This rose was actually pink before I dried it then it turned purple. Yellow and orange stay their color. White and red always turn brown for me with air drying.
Awe thank you so much 🤗🌹 this rose was actually pink before I dried it. Drying it turned it purple. I will try to get some flowers that are pink and use them. Thanks for watching 🤗💟
Oh my goodness congratulations 🎊 I am so happy for you. That is an amazing accomplishment. Keep up the wonderful work. My sister struggles with addiction so I know 1st hand it is not easy. You are amazing ❤️🌹🤗 this will be a wonderful project to preserve those special roses.

If you put the flower in silica beads, like the little packets that come with shoes to keep moisture out, for about a week or two when it is fresh it will dry looking like it's fresh and stay that way.

My Kroger has them for $10 hang them upside down for 2 weeks. Then practice with those. Once you get the hang of it you can do it with your dad's flower. Tish, do you ever use a pressure pot? Everything you make seems bubble free... is it the brand you use? What's your favorite resin brand? Just so beautiful! ❤️
No, I don't have a pressure pot. The resin I use liquid diamonds is pretty bubble free but it's not good for top coats. Would you be pre dipping a synthetic rose to serve the same purpose of eliminating bubbles?
Yes, it couldn't hurt to do that. Because air can get trapped on those too.
If you put the flower in silica beads, like the little packets that come with shoes to keep moisture out, for about a week or two when it is fresh it will dry looking like it's fresh and stay that way.
I did that in this video 🤗🌹
ua-cam.com/video/UK2y1LyLSoA/v-deo.html

It's very beautiful but do you mind if I ask does the Rose have to be dried before you put it in the resin or can you put it in when it's still alive?
Thank you 🤗 it has to be completely dry, resin hates moisture. Fresh flowers will turn color (not in a good way) and rot.
Would this work with a fresh rose? I know they are dried first for a reason but what happens if you don’t?
No, unfortunately fresh flowers will turn color (not in a good way) and rot. Resin hates moisture. They have to be completely dry 1st
I have some beautiful bugs and things I'd love to set in resin, would this work for those too?
As long as they're completely moisture free and dry it should work. I would dip them in resin 1st to seal them before you put them into your project.

I think you are awesome and make pretty things to remain seen forever too cool.
Thank you 🤗 💜 I think these are great for preserving special flowers. Its a great way to make them last forever. Thanks for watching
But I might have to make knobs instead cuz I have so many.
That would be so cool. Love that idea 🌹🌹🌹
I have a big question how to do this as a hobby and what are you sprain in there to get rid of bubbles
I have a lot of longer videos on the videos tab on my channel that are great for beginners. I also have this beginners resin playlist. I show how to mix your resin.
I spray 91% isopropyl alcohol inside to prevent and pop bubbles.

This looks like a paperweight from 2001
Thanks
I love learning about resin I'm still trying to learn a few things.
Thank you 😊🌹💜 it's a fun medium and there's definitely a lot to learn with it. I still learn new things and I've been doing it for 5.5 years
Next try drying the rose in silica which will retain its shape and color ☺️
I have done that before on my channel in this video 😁🌹

what if you dont dry it for that long? will it somehow shrivel while in the resin?
It won't shrivel but if you don't dry it out all the way it could still have moisture inside and then when you put it the resin it can rot.
I would love to try using resin. Is it expensive to buy please xx
Thank you 🤗 it's really a fun medium to use. The resin I like to use is about 0.80 an ounce.
Do you have to use dried roses or can you use fresh ones?
They have to be completely dried, resin hates moisture. Fresh flowers will turn color and rot.
So pretty 😍😍
Thank you 💟💟🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹
I want one of those as a memorial instead of rose I want a picture
That sounds really cool, I haven't tried casting photos in resin yet but it's on my list of things to try. Thanks for watching 🤗
Does the rose necessarily have to be dry before dipping it?
Yes, it has to be completely dry. Resin hates moisture and fresh roses will turn brown and Rot.

Thank you 🌹🌹🤗🤗🤗
Tish, do you ever use a pressure pot? Everything you make seems bubble free... is it the brand you use? What's your favorite resin brand? Just so beautiful! ❤️
No, I don't have a pressure pot. The resin I use liquid diamonds is pretty bubble free but it's not good for top coats. Only good for projects in molds over 1/8 deep. ❤️
Here's the link to the liquid diamonds if you want to check it out.
