I was totally surprised the napkin didn’t soak
Wow, they turned out great, Excellent job. Napkins can be super unpredictable. I do know the better the quality of the napkin the better the results with applying a coating to them. I’ve never directly put resin on them without a protective covering first. This is fantastic. Thanks ❤

Yes you can decopage with napkins,you have to take off all layers of the napkins until you have just the top layer..Then you can do your decopage..😊

Hello, I am newbie to resin. I saw these same napkins in Walmart and I purchased them because I had this brilliant idea that I could cut these napkins into size and put them in a mold the and make coasters. But I was not sure how I was going to do this. So I went on UA-cam and search napkin coasters and your video popped up, and I thought this is great. Thank you so much; I love the idea and possibilities are endless. This is my new go for making coasters. P.s I also bought the plates to see if that will work as well. Thank.

Beautiful!! I've been wanting to try this. I've even been buying napkins that I like, specifically for this purpose. I just wanted to throw in a little tip. I bought three packages of different colored napkins for a birthday party and the ink was coming off of all of them, onto everything that was rubbed. I wouldn't go too cheap and I would definitely test them out for color steadfastness. Thank you for the great video! 😊

They look amazing! 😍 love them! I’ve used napkins in many projects but not in resin yet. I usually take the napkin layers apart and only use the top layer as sometimes there can get trapped bubbles. But the way you did it was perfect with the resin being tacky and waiting to do the top coat was a great way to do it.
I would have separated them as well but this particular napkin was only one layer.🙂
