Ok I have been woodworking for longer than you have been alive and you just showed me something that I’ve never heard of, Domino’s. I have built fine furniture and cabinets most of my life. So much so that I would purchase 5 gallon bucket’s of glue for biscuits and dowels. I’m honest that I’ve never heard of a domino. Great video Brian
👍🏻👍🏻
we call those biscuits instead of dominoes :P
Where I am at, biscuits are the thin football shaped inserts, and these dominoes are much thicker and literally shaped like a domino
I use biscuits as well, but I believe another difference is biscuits ( at least the ones I have ) are made of particlewood, whereas dominoes are hardwood, making them stronger.
Brian, Great looking box. I really like the simple design and the small slide. Thanks for your time.
Thanks Ben
Domino = square biscuit 😂
👍🏻👍🏻
great looking box! very simple and useable, and a great job explaining how to do it.
Thanks👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice. That speaker box carpet really makes the difference. Nice touch with the "TV" tray.
Thanks Clayton👍🏻
That is freaking awesome plus the logo handle makes it even better!
Thanks Ryan👍🏻
Nice and very useful....
👍🏻
I use the Anderson power pole connector’s those work really good
👍🏻👍🏻
I don't understand all the wiring details, but the cabinet came together really well. Shout out to Terry for a really awesome job on the logo.
Thanks Amy👍🏻
That came out pretty nice.
Thanks Christian👍🏻
Lovin the cabinet, looks awesome
Thanks👍🏻
Great Video!! Really like the simplicity and clean look of the cabinet. Plus the slide out shelf is perfect!!
Thank you👍🏻
Nice clean build. I like the air clamp your using. Pretty slick.
Thanks👍🏻
Beautiful job!
Thanks
Very nicely done.
Thank you Willie👍🏻
thanks brian just bought the connectors
👍🏻👍🏻
Great looking cabinet. Awesome drawer pull !
Domino cutter is really nice. A cheaper alternative ( arguably not as strong a joint ) is a oval biscuit cutter. I have one from hobo freight, it works well, and doesn't cost much.
Thanks George
Nice build. Thanks for sharing the process Brain. Your shop always makes me drool!
Thanks Paul👍🏻
That’s a fine looking box Brian. Very nice job!!!!
Thanks👍🏻
Great build
Thanks Todd👍🏻
Add lights maybe? Great job. Like the carpet; gives it a clean look.
Thanks Kevin👍🏻
Nice job!!
Thanks Bob
One word. Cool
👍🏻👍🏻
Looking good...👍👍
Thanks Clint👍🏻
That is amazing work!! Love the pull out counter!! The logo is frickin sweet!! Have a great week!!
Thank you Malcolm👍🏻
Fantastic video
Thanks👍🏻
I love that cabinet I wish i had the means to build one . Also wish I could just buy one with all the electronics pre installed lol. Great job
Thanks Jacob👍🏻
Nice work! Nice garage workshop!
Thanks Ralph👍🏻
Well done 👌
Thanks👍🏻
Nice setup and had a good laugh somewhere around the 8:30 mark as the camera angle makes the rectangular box look wedge shaped.
Lol. Had to go back and watch😂👍🏻
Awesome job, very inspiring. You have an amazing workshop, lots of cool toys……I mean tools. Keep up the great videos.
Thank you👍🏻
Wow Nice Job
Thanks Dale👍🏻
Love the idea for your build. #Brianwatersoutdoors
Thanks Chris
Nice build
👍🏻
Man I wish I could find someone to build something similar. I do not have the knowledge or skill for that. Looks great
Thanks Dustin👍🏻
Dominoe ? I thought you were doing karaoke & singing KISS 😂... awesome build & great commentary on how to wire it ... thanks for all the great explanation on how to build a minimist cabinet that's what I like from your 1st build take care 👍
Oh I forgot where do you sell your channel stuff?
Thanks Trey. Shoot me an email to brianwatersoutdoors@gmail.com on the merch
You’re freaking amazing
Lol. Cheers🍻🍻👍🏻
You have some skills, my man! Looks good.
Thanks Brian👍🏻
Thumbs up 👍 clean build. Nice work on the logo he did a great job 👏.
Thanks Clarence, he did do an amazing job👍🏻
Watching all the way from Perth, Western Australia. Just bought a Toyota Hilux to do up and head out and see some camp sites on the weekends. Keep up the great videos mate. Bloody beauty
That’s awesome! Cheers my friend👍🏻🍻
Nice box. Now you need something to store your fishing rod and tackle so you'll always have it available
Got that covered too😉👍🏻 I’ll show my plan in the final reveal video
Brian: I 4 one love the Video that power box is a 👍UP for sure. That c&c logo is great Now for all of us how about some Hook & loop patches Just saying money makers 💯👍I'll buy 5 just food for thought my friend.
Good idea! I’ll try and find a place that can make those👍🏻
#brianwatersooutdoors I love watching woodworking. You must be a furniture maker by trade. You have such nice equipment and Knowledge
I enjoyed watching very much. Thanks for sharing
Jake McClellan The Oregon Boy 👦
Thanks Jake!
Excellent build, Brian!!! Everything is clean and out of the way. I'm guessing that the "dominoes" are like biscuits? Anyway, I look forward to your next camp excursion!! #brianwatersoutdoors
Thanks. Yes, dominoes are kind of like biscuits, just a lot stronger
Looks Great Brian! #BrianWatersOutdoors
Thanks Marla👍🏻
NICE😎👍🏻👍🏻🍺🍺
🍻🍻👍🏻
Very cool concept box. You have perfect craftsmanship. One question I have is you did the two lower outlets for shore power. Are you also creating a way that it will charge your goal zero as well?
Thanks Jodey. I could use the 12v cigarette style port to use with the power station 12v charger if I ever needed it👍🏻
You’re gonna drive the ladies crazy making dominos in socks. LOL. The cabinet looks fantastic. Is the drawer and table tight enough that they won’t move while you’re driving?
I did that on purpose😉😂 and I also built the drawer box about 1/8” too wide so it’s a tight fit. Takes a pretty decent tug to slide it out so it should be fine when traveling.
🔥
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice job...very clean design. Next project...charging the power station with solar?
Not too worried about that since this setup is really for short term trips. I will carry a portable solar panel, but between the goal zero and another 100ah battery under my bed should be more than enough for what I need👍🏻
Which drawer slides did you go with? Did you use the same ones on the pull out tray/shelf as the drawer? What’s the dimensions/size of the tray and drawer?
I like this design and would like to build one. Thanks Brian!
They are just standard full extension drawer slides. The bed drawer is 18” slides and the cabinet drawer is 10” drawer slides.
What do you do for a living Brian? Seems like you have all the right carpenter tools in your garage.
I’ve just been collecting tools for over 20 yrs
That is an awesome well thought out cabinet! Just curious, when you connect the ground wires to that connector for the switches, what do those wires connect too to complete the ground?
They connect to the main power/ground lead going into the power station.
@@BrianWatersOutdoors oh duh lol. Thank you!
Brian, you’re brilliant man! I don’t understand any of that, but it looks awesome. How did you learn how to do the wiring?
Thanks William. Just taught myself I guess🤷🏻♂️ I’ve done a lot of wiring projects throughout the years.
@@BrianWatersOutdoors I would be interested in a detailed wiring video, if you ever decide to do that! Maybe teach us how the switches work and how you wire everything? Just throwing out some ideas!
Awesome!! How will you secure it to the truck?
It’s got a pretty low center of gravity, so I’m not too worried about it falling over. I did add some heavy duty Velcro to the bottom that sticks to my BedRug though.
Nicely built! Did you have any difficulties carpeting the box once it was constructed?
No, it’s pretty simple. Just glue it down and then trim it up
I’m curios how would one do this if we needed a queen sized bed and using an older model Ford F150?
Not sure a queen bed would fit
Cabinet looks great. But I blame you. I'm now gonna redo my truck setup and build a bed with storage. Stealing your design, of course. Can't wait for more vids
Awesome! That’s why I make these videos, is to give all you folks design ideas👍🏻👍🏻
Brian..................How manly of you to do carpentry in your socks ! 🤪
Lol. I try 🤷🏻♂️👍🏻👍🏻
@@BrianWatersOutdoors Your channel is far too hard on my brain ! Either start talking English when it comes to all this electrical stuff or I'm going to have to mute your videos. Seriously though Brian , thats one damn nice cabinet !
hey Brian, what is the libk for the plug going into the power pack
you say its an anderson input
but i just can’t find it
You can search on Amazon for “Anderson power pole connectors” and you’ll find them👍🏻
ok and that will plug right into the goal zero?
Amazing! What state are you in? I am in Tn. You are doing a perfect set up for truck camping.
Thank you. I’m in Texas
@@BrianWatersOutdoors too bad you are not local.
Great ideas , where you got the camper ? TY
Local truck accessory shop here in Texas.
would the 200xl be strong enough to run your setup
To just run lights and maybe charge my phone up once, yes
can you send me a link gor the quick connect barrel connector
i cant find them on amazon
I just added a link in the video description for the bullet connectors 👍🏻
i apologize for all the questions
but im getting ready to attempt this build.
what is the plug that goes into the unit for the lights. the anderson connector is rectangle and you are plugging in a round.
also is the video up for the cab lights?
I don’t follow. I’m only plugging in an Anderson plug into my goal zero. There’s a rubber boot on the cord maybe making it look round?🤷🏻♂️
sorry for the confusion im just new to wiring
but i love your work keep it up
is the wiring of the cab lights on video also
where do you get those drawer slides
Just standard drawer slides I got off of Amazon 👍🏻
Hey, love the camper. Quick question. How tall are you? When you sit on the bed upright, how much headroom in inches would you say you have? I'm 6'0. Thinking of building out something like this in my F150. Thanks.
Hey Kody, I’m 6’1. I have about 2” above my head when sitting on the bed👍🏻
@@BrianWatersOutdoors good to know... which model cap do you have? It looks slightly taller than the truck cab
It’s the 180 model. About 4” extra headroom than the standard model
Hello there I just wondered if you can sell to me the truck Camper Cabinet I do have almost the same set up you have when you have the toper I live in colorado but a way great videos!!!
what kind of power station is yhat and where is it sold
It’s a Goal Zero Yeti 1000x. I put a link to this in the video description👍🏻
thx, would the 200x be strong enough for that application
Yeah, if I only wanted it to run my LED lights, and maybe charge up my phone once👍🏻
Could you please share dimensions with us
Curious, @ 4:30 would magnets, instead of screwing, interfere with the wiring?
It would t interfere. Could be done that way
