The American Dream is the second largest mall in the US. The Mall of America near Minneapolis is the largest and it's almost twice as big as the American Dream.
You may be amazed by the mall, BUT as an American, I am amazed how beautiful New Zealand is! I was watching a travel Channel about New Zealand and it is absolutely gorgeous!! I would take New Zealand over a mall any day..
It's not to far from the airport either. They used to have a bus or train that goes back and forth, but that was before covid. I don't get there often even though i only live 20 minutes from there. Maybe someone else can tell u if it's still running or not.

Our malls are dying sadly. In the 90s every town had a massive mall that was bustling through every hour of operation. Now, a lot of them are office spaces.
I wonder if you realize the impact you are having on your kid’s lives. Sam and Nadine, welcome to legendary status. These family stories will go on for generations! Well, good things happen to good people, I hope everything your family has earned comes to y’all. You’ve made a fabulous impression on a significant portion of America. Just a quick side-note. When you finally make it to Chicago, I hope you go at a time you can see a Blackhawks hockey game. When they sing the Star Spangled Banner it is louder than a jet plane taking off! Sounds crazy but it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For a preview you can look it up on UA-cam.
I hope you get to also see Mall Of America someday. Im not really a fan of malls, but theres just something magical about Mall of America. Its my favorite place on Earth. Its not just because of the size of it either, Mall of America just has this unique and special atmosphere to it that I just cant explain. Almost like Disneyland
I took my kids when they were younger to the Mall of America up in MN... they had a blast. We went there I think last year or the year before when we went to a concert up in the twin cities... still was a lot of fun.

Here in Minnesota we have the largest mall in America it is called the Mall of America It is Bloomington which is a suburb of Minneapolis. It also has a theme park in the middle And it has an aquarium. End of lower level.
Next time, please come to my state of Minnesota to the Mall of America, the largest mall in the United States. Even bigger than this one!! It would take you a few days to get through. It has a amusement park inside, in the middle. Hundreds of stores, dozens of restaurants along with a movie theater and a huge aquarium. The large water park is next door. Added incentive is no purchase taxes on clothing.

It is wonderful seeing your family enjoy some of the freedoms and perks that we have here in America. Hopefully, you guys are planning another trip to the US, Your video's are awesome, and shows what family is about. God Bless.
Mall of America WAS the largest mall in the country, clocking in at 2,869,000 square feet. American Dream is 3,000,000 square feet. Mall of America is also raggedy and dated as hell.
@@future.cadaver You might want to check that. Business Insider still lists Mall of America as the nations biggest, coming in at more than 5.6 million square feet with American Dream as the second largest. It also has a Nickelodeon theme park inside along with the Crayola Experience, an aquarium, flight simulator and other attractions. The reason it was "dated" a while ago is because the company actually used it as collateral to build American Dream but it has since been updated.
Seeing the wonder of you all experiencing these places is helping me see my home through new eyes. Thank you for that and hope you have safe and happy adventures
Such an appropriate observation. The availability and variety of everything you can dream of, amazes me sometimes. You can be in bed trying to sleep and whatever pops in your mind that you think may be a good idea. Go to the stores the next day, and you'll find whatever popped into your mind the previous night. So used to that. It's amazing.

Mall of America is even larger than this mall. Mall Of America boasts more than 520 stores, 60 restaurants, Nickelodeon Universe (a 7-acre indoor amusement park), SEA LIFE Aquarium, a comedy club, world-class gaming and entertainment centers, the LEGO Store, mini-golf and tons of other family attractions and nightlife options.

I live about 45 minutes south of this mall in NJ and have been wanting to check this mall out. After setbacks and about 15 years of construction, it took over 20 years for this place to finally come together from the original plans to breaking ground to opening. And just under 4 months after opening, COVID hit. I'm definitely going to have to make my way there.
I didn’t know this even opened…I was under the impression it failed financially…we are close to the King of Prussia Mall which is also massive…but this is extraordinary…I suspect that in the future there will be only a few supermalls and then one or two malls in each state…by the way, you guys are so enthusiastic…love that…it’s a reminder for us not to take for granted what’s here…hopefully you visit us again… :)
I knew that the Mall of America in Minneapolis had a theme park inside of it, but I didn't know that there was a mall in New York with one, too (and a ski slope as well)! I'll have to check it out the next time I'm up that way. I thought that Toys-R-Us went out of business a few years before COVID, but maybe they came back just to that location?? I love you guys!
The American Dream Mall is in East Rutherford, NEW JERSEY (not new york). The Toys 'R' Us corporate HQ was in Wayne, NJ (before Chap 11) and is now Parsippany, NJ. In 2018, Toys 'R' Us filed for bankruptcy and closed all 700+ US stores. In 2019 they emerged from bankruptcy and opened 2 stores - 1 in Paramus, NJ and 1 in Houston, TX. In early 2021 due to financial difficulties from COVID, the 2 stores were closed. In late 2021 they opened their Toys 'R' US flagship store in the American Dream Mall in NJ. In 2023 they opened their Babies 'R' US flagship store in the American Dream Mall in NJ. There are several smaller Toys 'R' Us stores located within Macy's department stores around the US.
Never heard of this mall; just amazing; thanks. So many American (Canadian?) malls have either closed up or become shopping "villages." So many happy memories of being young and hanging out at the mall with friends.
Your videos have me realizing how ungrateful I’ve been. I live about 15 minutes from this mall and about 15 minutes from NYC and truly don’t appreciate how lucky I am to live near all of this stuff.
Love watching your family reactions to new experiences in the USA. I live about 20 minutes from the Mall of America. It’s funny how easy accessibility and frequent visits normalizes the experience. I suppose the same holds true for those who live near Disneyland and other tourist spots. Looks like you had a fun experience. If you are ever back and come to Minnesota, this state doesn’t have sales tax on clothing.
I never knew that about buying clothing. I live in Thunder Bay, Ontario, which isn't too far north of Minnesota, so I'll try and remember this the next time I head down to Duluth or the Twin Cities.
@@happyretireeshc The same people own this mall and the West Edmonton Mall? I never knew that. It's been ages since I last went to that part of Canada, so it would be neat to see what's changed in there.
New Jersey doesn’t have a sales tax on clothing either. A lot of New Yorkers travel there to do clothing shopping which is why northern NJ has a ton of malls. This one is an “easy” drive or train ride from NYC.
The Myer Centre in Brisbane, Australia had a theme park called tops that was eventually removed in the 2000s & replaced with a cinema. The centre remained bustling until about 5 years ago, it started going into decline, covid then hit it hard with a lot of vacancies, then last year, anchor tenant Myer closed up there store. having an attraction for kids in a shopping centre is really important. The kids can play whilst the parents shop. Pure genius and in fact, we need more of it
Fyi... the trick when you get on roller coaster so your head doesn't bang back and forth is press down your feet on the floor as much as you can during the ride. It stabilizes you and keeps your head in place. No banging headache rush after.

It's not to far from the airport either. They used to have a bus or train that goes back and forth, but that was before covid. I don't get there often even though i only live 20 minutes from there. Maybe someone else can tell u if it's still running or not.
Love you all, as well as how humble you are when it comes to amazing and beautiful things in life. Thank you for sharing your life, love, and joy with all of us across the globe. 👋 By the way from West Virginia (my home state) and Pennsylvania (my finances)
Are you sure that was Atlanta screaming or was that our boy Sam 🤣
😅
I love how much Denzi loves those noodles lol he was guarding 💂♂️ them like precious 💎 😅
It's fun watching you guys experience things we take for granted...and even avoid. LOL
For granted? Who takes something like this "for granted"?
Granted? Lol going to a mall lol
@@jasongill5390huh
@@jasongill5390 yeah that mall is better than most malls on the planet Earth.
Our malls are dying sadly. In the 90s every town had a massive mall that was bustling through every hour of operation. Now, a lot of them are office spaces.
Watching this makes me want to be a kid all over again. Kids have so many cool things to do today.
I was in my 50's when I first experienced the mall of America. I was as impressed as the New Zealanders.
The New Zealand Family seeing and experiencing more of America than most Americans. I’ll live vicariously through this family.
OMG welcome to New Jersey! I hope you had an amazing time here! 💗
I'm American and yeah stuff like that never gets old unless you live right next to a mall like that, it'll be awesome every time.
That is an amazing mall! We don't have anything like that near us! A ski mountain???!! Crazy! Looks like you guys had a blast. Love your videos!
I took my kids when they were younger to the Mall of America up in MN... they had a blast. We went there I think last year or the year before when we went to a concert up in the twin cities... still was a lot of fun.
You guys absolutely need to go to Sandusky Ohio, and go to Cedar Point. You want an amusement park? Cedar Point is the largest roller coaster park in the world.
Just a boy and his noodles ❤
I have driven passed this dozens of times on the New Jersey turnpike, but have never been inside. Thanks for the tour.
This Mall is in East Rutherford, New Jersey which is not too far from New York. This Mall is close to me in New Jersey. Glad you guys enjoy it. 😊
And to think, my friend took me to Palisades 😅
@@LindaC616 It's in Meadowlands or the mall by Metlife Stadium. I never knew it was like this. All this time I never knew I could go skiing near NYC, I'm there all the time
@@Roma-SRyan 😄
I'm so happy you guys did this. New Zealand is an amazing, gorgeous place. I've been there. Speaking as an American, you guys did a fantastic job showing our country to your kids.
The Mall of America in Minnesota has the own amusement park with the 🎢 coasters.!! an instead of them having a food court they have restaurants and they have hotels you can get too that is attached to the mall of America.😊😅it’s insane.
It's owned by the same Canadian company
It's totally awesome y'all came here to my lovely state and went to the newest attraction we have. It would've been sweet to run into you guys there. Don't care that you're just regular people I'd still want an autograph and selfies with big people. And to meet the smaller humans as well. 😇🤣
I literally live 20 minutes from this place and have been there once. It's so great seeing such a great family enjoying it as much as you. You guys have a new fan, and subscriber
I went to Mall of America in 1995 but haven't traveled since 2010 due to health and finances. Never even heard of this mall. Thanks for sharing.
Hi I live in Minnesota. The Mall of America is here and it is incredible! Also I think we have the best state fair. But I may be bias.
This is a fantastic mall. Most of the malls in the US are in decline now. I am quite surprised. You see some amazing malls in Asia too..
The mall of America in Minnesota is the nations largest mall. If you could have been there, it would have blown your minds even more. It is wonderful seeing your family enjoy some of the freedoms and perks that we have here in America. Hopefully, you guys are planning another trip to the US, Your video's are awesome, and shows what family is about. God Bless.
pretty sure they are both owned by the same company
@.cadaver Obviously you haven't been to MOA lately and it's also about 5.6 million square feet
@@future.cadaverthat’s so far from the truth lmfao I go there all the time and it’s also 5.6 million square ft they also update it all the time
We met you guys at 6:30! Subscribed to your channel and have been enjoying your content ever since! 😃🎢
Las Vegas would really blow your minds!
I.. I'm American, I've never been to this mall and.. this was insane.. wow
Glad you enjoyed American Dream - I live right near it. It keeps getting better as they add more and more stores and attractions.
4:36 "And one goes out of the roof." SHRIEK! 😂
You should’ve went to the mall of America in Minnesota. They have an indoor waterpark inside of the mall it is huge you probably fit two or three of the mall that you’re in inside of it
I tried to keep track of how many times you said "Whoa", "That's crazy", or "That's insane" but I couldn't you had me too busy smiling at your reactions to what we have come to take for granted. Denzel would have had a ramen explosion if he was on the coaster.
Lol, I thought the same thing 😅
Mall of America is even larger than this mall. Mall Of America boasts more than 520 stores, 60 restaurants, Nickelodeon Universe (a 7-acre indoor amusement park), SEA LIFE Aquarium, a comedy club, world-class gaming and entertainment centers, the LEGO Store, mini-golf and tons of other family attractions and nightlife options.
King of Prussia King of Prussia PA has more stores then Mall of America❤❤
Yes it does but American dream mall is more modern
@@steve-uq5tl King of Prussia Mall is always being updated
I used to live in Chester County about a half hour drive from there, been there one time about 35 years ago and l’m still having flashbacks 😂
@@paulmolloy7206 I live in Chester County too!
I live in the USA and have avoided malls since the 1990s.Malls were everything in the 1970's-1990's. So many malls have closed down since then. It's fun to see that some are still alive and thriving.
Get that slice from sbarros then straight to Aladins castle
Yeah but clearly this is weird and won't likely be anything like this in two years.
Beautiful😊, God bless & stay bless NZ fmly😊❤❤❤
Family trips as a kid were so much fun getting out and seeing new things for the first time, everyone happy and smiling.
The noodles were the best part. I live in Indiana and didn't even realize they have a mall in the US with all that stuff!
I only live 2 sates away and ive never heard of this mall!!! you look like you had a great time! I love seeing happy people and you look 100% thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys look like you was having a great time there especially Denzel with his noodles you all had a great time I'm glad welcome to the USA
Glad you are enjoying America. Try the largest mall in Minnesota. Don't forget to experience our beautiful national parks too. Yellowstone. Grand Canyon. Yosemite. Redwoods in California. We're proud of America's natural beauty in addition to all the commercial shopping. 🥴
I love how you guys love America! Best wishes to your family and I wish you safe and happiness
Biggest Mall in the US is in Bloomington Minnesota. 5.6 million sq ft.
W mall, I live close to here in northern nj and go here a lot since it’s less than 30 mins away from my house
Look up cedar point in Sandusky, Ohio for roller coasters
The Winters are pretty harsh there and that’s why this mall is so huge.
People don’t have to travel in the snow from place to place.
Never fails to bring me a smile. You guys are so amazing!
It's in East Rutherford, NJ, attached to the Meadowlands Sports Complex.
It's in New Jersey, not New York, adjacent to Met Life Stadium, where the "New York" Giants and "New York" Jets play
@@TheOtherBill Thanks for the directions! I'll try to go there if I get to New York any time soon.
It's owned by the same company...from Canada
Wow! I’m in the US and that mall would blow anyone’s mind jeez! All ours has is a carousel and a food court.
Wow, you were only about 35 minutes away from where I live. I would have bought you guys lunch at the mall, if I had known.
Never heard of this mall; just amazing; thanks. So many American (Canadian?) malls have either closed up or become shopping "villages." So many happy memories of being young and hanging out at the mall with friends.
This is what vacation is about. The wonder of this world. You never know what you’ll see!
Your videos have me realizing how ungrateful I’ve been. I live about 15 minutes from this mall and about 15 minutes from NYC and truly don’t appreciate how lucky I am to live near all of this stuff.
I love that Denz wants his Ramen and isn't wasting a bite! 😂 I'm the same little man!
So glad you guys made it to the USA.
@@bluebear1985 is canada cheaper than the US? or does it depend on the state?
The owners are the same for both malls and one in Edmonton. They're Canadian!
So happy you had so much fun!
Ty Guys for the respect you pay our country.Love you guys .I believe you could get dual citizenship.
Thank you 🙏 great 👍 place for everything and anything 😃🤞mostly NZ ❤family 👍🎥👏👏👏. 👋
You guys had an EPIC trip for sure! I’m super glad.
So glad you had such an amazing visit! 👏
Although I hear Mall of America is bigger, I’ve never gone myself.
Another stop for your next visit(s). 👏
That is one crazy mall!
Now you have to go to mall of america, it is the size of 78 (US) Football fields. In Minneapolis Minnesota!
If you ever get a chance, visit Minnesota and "Mall of America" - it's even larger and has more stuff.
Pure genius and in fact, we need more of it
You guys are such awesome parents
I haven't been there since 2013. Just as glorious as ever. Really awesome to see you guys excitement.
I’m a South Carolinian and this mall shocks me I knew it had all these cool things and it’s a bucket list item for me
Fyi... the trick when you get on roller coaster so your head doesn't bang back and forth is press down your feet on the floor as much as you can during the ride. It stabilizes you and keeps your head in place. No banging headache rush after.
I am thrilled you enjoyed your time here in this mall/theme park/ski resort/ any thing you can think of! I have actually never been to this one. But I have been to places like Kings Dominion in Virginia and to a smaller version of this in Maryland which is where I live. I am looking forward to when you come here again!
I know I have not said this to you in awhile so I will say it again: LOVE YOU GUYS!
You guys should check out the "Mall of America" in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Just be sure to remember what level and number you park at, We spent a day there and then 3 more hours trying to find our car.
