Oh yeah, that’s right! I was in Mall Of America when I was in high school back in 2001 and I remember seeing Camp Snoopy. We rode a couple rides and it was so much fun! It looks totally different from what I remember. But I visit Camp Snoopy all the time here in SoCal. If you’re ever here, definitely check out Knott’s Berry Farm and see Snoopy on Ice. The best ice skating show I’ve ever seen. Olympic quality professionals do the show.
The Mall of America reminds me of West Edmonton Mall with all the different experiences person can have (shopping, amusement park, water park, hotel, etc).
I get the draw as a tourist. But as a Minnesotan, I refuse to go to the MOA, and I live like 20 minutes away from it. I hate it. It's too big, too noisy, and there's too many people.
I’m from Minnesota and now a Nebraskan! MOA sits on what use to be the old Met Stadium where the Vikings and Twins played until the Metrodome was built. The Metrodome was fine in the winter for football but inside baseball…no thank you! Did you see Harmon Killebrew’s chair up on the wall in the amusement park? The chair represents Killebrew longest home run hit! He was a power hitter! I always take the entrance to MOA on Killebrew Drive! In the 70’s when I was a kid, when Killebrew was up to bat the announcer would say HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARR -MOOOOOOONNNNNNNN Killebrew and the stadium would erupt!
Wow what a big place Mall of America is, it certainly caters for just about anything you want to do. Thank you Asa and Cilla for showing us. Blessings.
I am in Wisconsin but only 2 1/2 hours away. Years ago when I was in college they had dance clubs on the top floor and a piano bar. It was an experience!
I had to go to Mayo clinic, so we went to MOA to kill some time on a off day! Me and my sister and daughter went to Crayola experience (2 grown adults, 18yr old) we had the absolute best time!! I made everyone at my job a crayon that was custom made to them, and then I made my picture into a color sheet. When I went back to work, someone made copies, and they spent their downtime 9r breaks coloring me! The different styles was awesome. They ended up hanging them up and had a contest! Definitely my top 10 things I have done. I do have to say it was on a weekday and not crowded at all. So that could have made the experience more enjoyable too! Definitely go if you get the opportunity!
My best friend and I are going to Minnesota to enjoy all of the activities and go Christmas shopping at the beginning of November. I can’t wait the days are flying by.
I had to keep laughing every time you got excited about Mall of America, our Norwegian heritage, and more. I've lived in Minnesota my whole life. Best state ever. I'd love to see you folks some time when you're here. You have to drive by my town on your way to other friend's houses.
@@judybullick4516 right? It’s just a mall to us…my family has nicknamed it The Mall of Histaria! I’ve lived close to MOA my whole life and rarely go there. In fact I avoid it as much as possible.
We have a mall in our area. Half the stores are empty. The best part is they have a senior walking club in the morning to help our senior citizens stay fit and active
I hear you. Century III mall (outside of Pittsburgh) is near me and they’re FINALLY knocking it down. It shut down in 2019 and people were breaking in to take dead mall videos even though it was condemned. Up here in PA they build malls on top of landfills so they’re not built to last.
I live in the Twin Cities about and hour north of the mall of america. It's definitely a fun place to go especially at Christmas when it's all decorated for the holidays.
The Mall of America is huge!! And you look all nice and dapper, love that color of shirt on you, and Priscilla and her friend in that pose, together is priceless.❤ Also loved Priscilla's sweat shirt👍
I've gotta say I was a bit let down with this vlog. You had previously mentioned ya'll were headed 2 MN for work & to see a friend there, so I jus assumed you meant the Wee fam!! I love when your fam hangs with the Wee fam!!
If you haven't already, look up west Edmonton mall in Edmonton Alberta Canada. I think it's smaller than the mall of America but we used to have whales in there, it has a huge water park and a think roller coasters too. Oh there is a skating rink and a giant ship...you gotta look it up!!
Look up west Edmonton mall Canada :) it has all the same things.. plus the biggest indoor water park. It was built by same guys who built mall of America but a few yrs earlier so a tad smaller but everything like comedy, movie theater, restaurants, theme park indoor ice rink , small aquarium, seal show
Minnesota here! I was one of the lucky kids that got to have bday parties at MOA in the 90s! Grew up about an hour away. Also, I lived in Detroit Lakes for the first few years of my life. Still go up there every summer!
Next time you're in St Cloud area, take a day trip further west to Starbuck, home of the World's Largest Lefse, on beautiful Lake Minnewaska! Wait till summer though because that really is the best time to explore and see all the fabulous things!
OMG! I wish I knew you were at MOA. I live a hop skip, and (a) jump from it. We could have met for a cup. It is funny to hear the excitement over MOA. For me, the novelty wore off long ago. Worked a second job there; ya get a whole different perspective! Love your choice of sweatshirt Cilla!🤣
It's just insane out of anywhere in the world you guys went here! We just celebrated Isaac's 8th birthday at nickelodeon about a month ago! We went on Tuesday for the $40 deal & $15 toddler deal.
I live in Minnesota, first time I was there I spent 12 hours, now it’s old hat, I don’t go there unless it’s a store I can’t find elsewhere. Cool place!!
When I looked up the cherry on the spoon it said it is representing the intersection of art and every day life, with the cherry signifying sweet indulgence and the spoon symbolizing nourishment and sustenance. 😊🍒🥄☀️
That brought back some memories. I went to Northwestern College in Roseville, MN when the Mall of America first opened. Only went twice, but it was a blast. It’s changed a bit since then, and it looks like they got rid of Camp Snoopy. Would love to visit again someday.
Mall of America has changed over the years. The theme park used to be Camp Snoopy which I loved. 🥰 The mall gets way decked out at Christmas…. or at least it used to.🎄 Unfortunately the Mall of America like a lot of other places has a lot of not so good instances happen☹️ regularly. I’m from Midwest Wisconsin so apparently 1.5 hour drive. The increase in drug, crime and violence is so sad.
I tell you we in Australia do not have roller coasters or rides in any of our shopping malls in Australia wow I must say in America the kids are very lucky to have that. And a games shop that’s cool Pricilla we do have game arcade shops in our shopping malls but my favourite is pinball machines and basketball Games Our shopping malls do have food places. And Lego stores We don’t have target stores in Australia no more very little target stores in Australia . But I love shopping malls with trolley elevator we call em trolley travel thing like escalators but for shopping trolleys Love from Kate last Australia 🇦🇺
I live about 15 minutes from there and honestly I can’t remember the last time I was there. It is a fun place to go but it can be overwhelming since it is so big. Many people do go there to walk especially in the dead of the winter.
That is so Awesome ive seen some of it on The Wee channel that dang mall is huge. I want yo know did you buy any games in that game store.? That sweatshirt was so Cilla 😂 too cute ❤
Good ole Camp Snoopy! I know it’s called nickelodeon universe now, but it’ll be camp snoopy for millennials and older Minnesotans forever!
Camp Snoopy till I die!! 👊🏼

I loved Camp Snoopy!
I’ll never call it Nickelodeon universe.
OMG the timing on this is amazing. I was JUST looking into booking a trip here! Love the vid!
The Mall of America reminds me of West Edmonton Mall with all the different experiences person can have (shopping, amusement park, water park, hotel, etc).
Theres no hurricanes in Minnesota. It’s cold in the winter but so excited you got to come

You guys couldn’t handle a “Minnesota “winter!!
I was a pro at the old games too. Can't control my hands anymore. Giving tickets to a little one is a awesome feeling.

Love that place Lucky you !
You should have renewed your vows in the wedding chapel!
It’s in Bloomington MN
Reminds me of West Edmonton Mall. Some of it is cooler than what we have though.
Going to the Mall of America is on my bucket list! It looks even better than I imagined! I want to go so bad! I'm glad you guys had a blast!💚💚
Thank you for sharing. I do not remember lego land being there, and only remember one roller coaster.
I love them all of America

4. They have RAINFOREST CAFE?!?!?!
I thought all of them were shut down.
There's 2 Rainforest Cafes in Orlando, Florida too! One in Disney World and the other in Disney Springs.
I think there may be a couple in Maryland too
If you haven't already, look up west Edmonton mall in Edmonton Alberta Canada. I think it's smaller than the mall of America but we used to have whales in there, it has a huge water park and a think roller coasters too. Oh there is a skating rink and a giant ship...you gotta look it up!!

I lived in a homeless shelter when they were remodeling this mall back in the late 1990s they took us all on a field trip there at the homeless school
I love the Mall of America. It's about a 5 hour drive to Minneapolis for me(I live in metro Milwaukee), but it's a fun short trip for me.
I moved from Minnesota in 2005. It is a big mall
They have a Crayola store at the Florida mall in Orlando.

Welcome to Minnesota! Lego Land is my youngest son's favorite place..... He is 25!
Yayoubetcha! I live in Oregon fr 24 years and people still pick up my Minnie soda accent
I went to that exotic restaurant.
There's a movie theatre and you can eat food in there , mini golf
I live about 15 minutes from there and honestly I can’t remember the last time I was there. It is a fun place to go but it can be overwhelming since it is so big. Many people do go there to walk especially in the dead of the winter.
Love the cherry on the spoon
I dated a guy from Minty Apples. He took me to the MOA once. I didn’t see much of it though because I was running very low on spoons that day. 😂
Hey look up west Edmonton mall in Alberta Canada....
😮😮😮I am disabled and would give anything to be able to go to this Mall... OMG ❤❤❤
That is so Awesome ive seen some of it on The Wee channel that dang mall is huge. I want yo know did you buy any games in that game store.? That sweatshirt was so Cilla 😂 too cute ❤
Probably similar to Edmonton Mall in Canada 🍁 🇨🇦.
YOURE IN MN NO WAYYYY
🌸 💙💙💙
When you said friends I thought y'all was talking about the Wee family
Come in January you won't say you can live there then. The snow and cold is no fun!
Are you traveling on your daughters ssi.
