Fun fact! Florida is actually the only place in the entire world where both Alligators and crocodiles both live together natively/naturally. So you could see both gators and crocs! Glad ya'll enjoyed my state!
Quickly approaching 64 and firmly embedded into my second childhood, I find myself deeply envying Atlanta & Denzel for having such truly awesome parents. I hope some day they realize just how blessed they are to have their parents and each other. Sometimes, you remember what you once had and the bitter-sweet tears begin to flow and the next thing you know, you're sleeping every night with a washcloth on your pillow...
Find solace in your enjoyment, and express these newfound learnings on the young ones you come across, in the best of ways, no matter how "insignificant" in the moment. I wish you much more happiness, it is at the ready,...peace and blessings.
Do you know how beneficial it is to take your young children traveling? It will help form their world view. I was very fortunate myself to have a stepfather who was a serious road dog. He took us across America several times and to Europe more than once. I am forever grateful and truly blessed to have this life. I guarantee that these travels will be some of your children’s fondest memories. 😁👍🇺🇸
I'm glad you guys enjoyed Miami. The fact is, most Floridians don't live in Miami, and most of Florida is not like Miami. I'm a rare breed, a native Floridian. I have been down there, and killed a lot of brain cells while I was there, can you say Hotel Mutiny? Mainly I've lived in Jacksonville Beach, Tampa area, and Panama City area.
miami is a different country 😂. Native as well you put a boat in the water in west palm everglades you se a gator in a min 😂. Im west palm gains ille orlando areas but been too all.
Miami and the Keys are a blast. I stayed in Miami Beach and had dinner late at night across from the ocean. I had an outdoor table, and a woman was singing smooth jazz while I ate my seafood and enjoyed the ocean breeze. Beautiful scenery and beautiful people.
You could spend a month easily and still not get to see all of Florida. A week in Orlando theme parks alone. I was very lucky to grow up there. Just wish I could afford to live there again. Thanks for bringing back good memories. The Keys are incredible.
Overtown used to be a really wild and impoverished neighborhood. Still is the hood in many ways, however, it really has been cleaned up the last 15 yrs or so.
Somehow I missed this episode when you were travelling. What a great one - compliments to the editor at the end with the bus trip. A lot of fans live vicariously through your beautiful family and I'm not necessarily that guy, but I really do like watching these videos. It makes my heart swell when you're all together and enjoying things...no matter in what place and you ALL make me feel better. With all of the wars and strife and fear, it's just good to see a happy family doing their thing. Discovering new places and growing TOGETHER. Experiencing life for all of us to see and enjoy. Please keep it up.
The Everglades is known as "The River of Grass" and we have both Gators and Crocodiles. Croc's have a longer, more pointed snout and are more aggressive than Gators.
Whenever I watch your videos, the feeling I get about your family can be summed up in Denzie's word for the Reticulated Python - EPIC! You are a model family for others to emulate. Just love how much you all genuinely get along so well and clearly love one another. I also love how appreciative you are of the United States and how enthused you are about all that you've seen and experienced here. You would make awesome US citizens, but, then, we'd have less reason to want to go to New Zealand, if you were no longer there.
It's actually red ,and blue (not black) chips, made from ( -- wait for it -- ) red corn, and blue corn, respectively. Yes, corn naturally grows in those colors, plus the typical yellow corn, along with a few other varieties.
Miami has some hidden gems that you missed. Little Havana the absolute center of Cuban culture in Florida, Wynnwood where the massive art project known as the Wynnwood walls is, little Haiti, Calle Ocho home to legendary restaurant Versailles, maybe south beach if you like that sort thing, Brickell has really come up in the last few years, the freedom tower built by freed Cubans, the skyscrapers going up near the financial district, the new shopping center near the Miami heat arena, and the little neighborhoods that are so different dotted around the city. Just off downtown Miami there’s a hidden island that once was a mafia hideout run by local legend John “swamp king” Ashley or sometimes known as one eye or glass eye Ashley as he lost an eye during a gun fight with the sheriff and had it replaced with a glass copy. John Ashley died in 1924 during the height of prohibition but his legendary feats are still told today. The park in Miami has buildings from the 1800s although not exactly preserved but they exist. Miami takes its past and present quite seriously as its people constantly talk about when are roads getting fixed, when is Flagler reopening, and what to do about flooding each rainstorm.
They missed out on a lot. From Wisconsin but been all around Florida multiple times. Wish they would've toured the beautiful old historic mansions and homes from the super wealthy people who made Miami, Key Biscayne, Ft. Lauderdale, Coral Gables, Palm Beach, etc for what it is...lots of railroad tycoons from the Northeast built railroad tracks and cleared out swampland to make it into cities and also their own personal warm weather vacation mansions. Vizcaya mansion and its breathtaking, extensive fairytale gardens with and have either limited docent group tours during select times or the pereonal/individual the headset with programmed info to listen to for each room or area as you are right on Key Biscayne with the house and some ofmthr gardens opening right out to it; Bonnet House and gardens and Miami Botanical Gardens where you take tours...the former was a docent guided group tour and trolley ride around the grounds and literally 5-10 minutes is the latter where you can explore the Miami Botanical Gardens at your own pace and also take a team around the large grounds listening to a guided ride...the one tropical pavilion had some of Chihuly's famous glass sculptures. And instead of the bus tour, you should've gone to the SoBe city guest information center right in the middle of South Beach and they have free (a small tip is recommended at the end) guided walking tour with volunteer guides who are fun and very knowledgeable about all the history of the island, the hotels and their architecture combined with the Art Deco era which is so heavily featured in the architecture; plus since it's from the city, the guides are able to take you in to some of the hotels and show specific details of Art Deco. Then you go to the downtown Miami harbor and get on a boat that will take you around Star Islands and other islands where the guide points out and names all the mansions of the famous people and how much some cost as well as and little interesting trivia, the cruise shios and all the industrial shipping that goes on, pointing out the super yachts and the hundreds of millions they cost, how many hundreds of thousands a day it costs to just dock in certain berths and the fuel, staff, upkeep of these super yachts is bananas; it's a nice 90 minutes to spend in the sun out on the water. Saw you did Sawgrass. My dad and I got lucky as it was more overcast and the guides said they hadn't seen any gators for a few days. No less than 10 minutes and we had two about 3' and 6' right next to our boat...our guide let them get REALLY close. Then as we went along, we saw 4-6 more gators throughout the path. Glad you were able to see at least one as some people go and don't see any. Wynwood is a cool art district where you can walk around and see all sorts of street art. I'd avoid Little Havana. In Palm Beach you have the historic Henry Flagler mansion which you get a guided tour of. Also check out Henry's famous and extremely expensive hotel then and now called The Breakers. You can also tour the historic Biltmore Hotel (also extremely expensive) and have lunch where I had the best and most authentic mojiito of my life. Forgetting the names of two smaller historical houses that we also toured.
It does seem they may have visited a few of the areas you've both listed, such as Bayside and Wynwood. I saw clips from those areas and more in the beginning and ending montage but not so much during the episode (as I really hoped). Possibly the full/extended footage is for patreon only.
@@lamarlee6127 I’m not talking bayside I’m talking about brickell city center the newest part of Miami’s downtown. It’s mostly upscale shops for like four floors but goes into high rise apartments after that. It’s a huge complex. Just built about two or three years ago yet it’s still not filled with stores or people yet. I know bad bunny runs a neo-Spanish restaurant in the complex. Also the trendy Sexy Fish restaurant and Blue restaurant are very close to brickell city center. It’s kinda where that lone Burger King is located but just down the street.
I've been following you guys since pretty much DAY ONE of you starting your channel. Have been on 99% of your "Lives". Watched ALL of your videos and I have to say, it's so cool to see SO MANY OTHER UA-camRS reacting to YOUR VIDEOS now!!!! Y'all have killed it!!!! 🤩🤩🤩
I live near Waycross, GA. Not far from here is the Okefenokee Swamp Park. It is full of alligators and other wildlife . They are very common around here. A good thing to know is they do not attack anything bigger than they are unless cornered.
Listen Sam! I hope you grow this channel because if you end up with about 2 million subscribers, you're about to change your life and Atlanta and denzels, life! Prayers and wishes, to you my Man.....❤🙏
It is so amazing seeing you guys enjoying my old back yard! I used to live in fort Lauderdale, and I've taken my family and everyone who's visiting us to sawgrass recreational park! I actually know your airboat captain as he's given us private tours personally! So happy to see you guys enjoying not just south Florida, but enjoying each other while doing it! If youever return to that area, hit me up as i have some cool places i could recommend for the entire NZ fam!
I enjoyed Miami and the trip to the Everglades. The content is much more fun when you're experiencing traveling around. I'm looking forward to the trip to the Keys. I hope you filmed it. I'm glad you're having so much fun.
So good to see a heart warming family experiencing the United States for the first time. Good meaningful family time. That’s how I was thankfully raised. Love this family❤
I love watching these videos and your experience with our country. And on a personal note, seeing as I'm soon to be a father, you're a great example of how quality family time should be spent, so thank you.
It was fun watching you enjoy yourselves in Miami! Loved the trip video!! So glad you had beautiful weather! You have some great shots of the everglades and ocean sunsets and overall Miami at night!
I'll probably never get to see Miami, but because of you, I feel as if I got to see it, and the entire area. Your childen are blessed, because they have parents like you.
I grew up in South Florida during my early childhood and am going to visit friends and family there soon. Haven’t been back since I was 10, and I’m turning 25 next month. It’s crazy how nostalgic Miami looks. Even though it’s way different, it still gives me that feel it did back then just watching this video. I’m hoping GTA 6 lives up to the hype of making South Florida accurate. Save me some vacation money haha
If you haven't been in ten years, you will not recognize it. It's grown like crazy. I hope you enjoy you you come to visit. It is much more crowded and buildings being constructed everywhere. It's like a giant construction zone at the moment.
Wonderful video! Looks like you guys really enjoyed your visit! I grew up near Miami and do you see that circular Art Deco Post Office building at 8:28? My grandma lived only one block from there. She lived to be 105!
Ahhh first my hometown of NYC and now my home away from home Miami! Its kind of wild to me that this family i watch who literally lives all the way on the other side of the world, is visiting my life essentially. Kinda bizarre! We have an inside joke in NYC that Miami is the 6th borough of NYC because all of all are there all the time. Especially in the winter! Been like that for decades. So glad you loved it so much! I have done the drive from NYC to Miami and back many times in the last 10 yrs. Each time i make it a point to stop in 1 new state or city along the way. The East coast is truly worth a trip of its own!
Your kids are so lucky, they'll always be able to remember this wonderful vacation you're taking them on. Really the adventure of a lifetime and happy core memories for them.
I'm glad that you're getting the chance to see that no matter what part of the country we're from, no matter the accent (and there are ALOT of accents in the United States) basically we're just all decent people, for the most part.
This was awesome! I live in Central Florida, and I've never been to visit Miami, so was great to see the tour. And happy that you got to see one of our beautiful Florida sunsets. Thanks for sharing your amazing adventures with us. Sending love from Sunshine State! ❤
Loving all these videos of your visit. Glad you guys had such a great time. Just think, now you've been to places in the US that many Americans haven't even been to.
You guys looked so happy. 🥰 welcome to America (even though you’re already gone lol) can’t wait to have you back! We Americans are crazy sometimes but most of us are cool 😎
Hello! All of you are incredible! We are so happy you enjoyed our Florida, I am Floridian and my husband is from Peru. We actually live on the west coast of Florida (Sarasota) and Miami/South Beach is our runaway place. P.S. Since Atlanta is a foodie, hopefully she can check out some Peruvian dishes. The #1 restaurant in the world is in Lima Peru. Best wishes Rick and David
May all your dreams come true of America and more. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your experience and sharing this with us. Again thank you and visit Alaska when you get a chance We have ALOT more ti offer. (That's where I live.) One day I will go to New Zealand. 🤟
I still can not get over how much Sam and Nadine have mini-me's. Denzel looks more and more like Sam in every video, and Atlanta could be Nadine's twin
Great content and great editing! New subscriber 1 month and am hooked because of love you all have for each other and how genuine it is. You can tell from live videos with no edits that family is really like who you see on normal videos. Saying hello from San Diego California.
I find myself wanting more. A 12 minute video just seems like a teaser. Love your family. Love your videos. There’s those of us that don’t get the opportunity to travel much even in our own country and appreciate traveling through your eyes. Thanks for sharing😊
Looked like so much fun. This all reminds me of something said by Samuel Langhorne Clemens, known by the pen name Mark Twain, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”Feb 15, 2019. He wrote many stories, among them "Huckleberry Finn". Very apt. We have been to Florida from Michigan several times through the years and even saw a Shuttle launch. So neat to get out of your car after driving all day to feel the warm caress and hear all the life around.

@@UNITED-STATES-OF-MURICA140 well, not to be that party pooper, but if you live here, it will get kind of boring since you have to do normal stuff that you would do on a daily basis. HOWEVER, on a nice weekend, you can visit the beaches and do some fun stuff here. there is a huge plethora of nature activities to do here like hiking, ocean stuff, etc. and it is quite beautiful here. but other than the normal daily stuff to make it boring, when you dont have to do normal daily stuff, take a nice walk on the beach or take a hike on one of the trails, and you'd be in heaven. also, i haven't visited all of the islands, which is ironic since i live in hawaii and i still havent visited all the cities here LOL

If you ever go back, you should visit Coral Castle. It is made of large blocks of limestone coral weighing up to a few tons, constructed by one man working alone, mostly at night. Nobody ever saw how he was moving the stones into position. I also recommend you try some Cuban food while in Florida, it's hard to get authentic Cuban food outside of Cuba, but Florida has many people of Cuban descent.

T@joehackney, thank you for the 4-11 because I was wondering what the difference between a gator and a crocodile is.
Crocodile's teeth also pertrude outside of the mouth when their jaws are fully closed, while alligators don't.
Salt water crocodiles, especially in Australia, are very dangerous!… Then again, pretty much everything in Australia is dangerous! 😂

I enjoyed Miami and the trip to the Everglades. The content is much more fun when you're experiencing traveling around. I'm looking forward to the trip to the Keys. I hope you filmed it. I'm glad you're having so much fun.
We lost all the Key West footage 😭💔

@@yournewzealandfamily Oh, nooooooo! Well, you have in your memories. :)
I guess that means you're just going to have to go back to get more 😁
So good to see a heart warming family experiencing the United States for the first time. Good meaningful family time. That’s how I was thankfully raised. Love this family❤
I think if I'm not mistaken, this is the second time they visited the u.s. I could be wrong but I thought the first time they visited LA and New York.
The editing on the America vlogs are top tier
Miami is definitely a top 10 US city for me. An amazing city indeed!
Reminded me how beautiful it is here. When you live and work in paradise, you can forget about it and take it for granted. Thanks!
Much love new zealand ❤family
🌴welcome to Florida NZ family!🌴
I love watching these videos and your experience with our country. And on a personal note, seeing as I'm soon to be a father, you're a great example of how quality family time should be spent, so thank you.
I have tried to leave this state and I just can't. I can't imagine life anywhere else. That's my state ❤
The black and red chips are different type of corn in the chips. Wow! Miami looks cool! Great night shot.
Miami is a beautiful city glad you had a great time!
It was fun watching you enjoy yourselves in Miami! Loved the trip video!! So glad you had beautiful weather! You have some great shots of the everglades and ocean sunsets and overall Miami at night!
Welcome to my beautiful city of Miami. Hope you enjoyed it.
I'll probably never get to see Miami, but because of you, I feel as if I got to see it, and the entire area. Your childen are blessed, because they have parents like you.
As someone who spent 2 years of college in the south Florida area, I pray that you get to go at least once in your life🌴
Thanks! That would be nice.@@henryengellv5075
Glad you were able to come to America and enjoy it
I grew up in South Florida during my early childhood and am going to visit friends and family there soon.
Fun place to VISIT. I lived there for a few years.
I would like to echo those who have said you are a wonderful family - i agree - thanks for posting this one - it was fun watching all of you in Miami.
Fabulous! You guys really made the most of your trip. Maybe in the future we'll get to see a "Part 2" of each location. 🙂
You should stop by Siesta Key beach the next time you’re in Florida. Much nicer beach! The sand is like baby powder.
Number one beach in America. SRQ. Can't ever beat that Siesta sand.
I haven't been to Florida since 2017 on my birthday in May!! I miss it terribly!!✌🐢
Great family. Lots of joy. Have a great time.
I love seeing families living their best lives. Thank you for sharing!
If you go back to Florida check out the gulf coast, so many beautiful areas..and the keys are all gorgeous!
Wonderful video! Looks like you guys really enjoyed your visit! I grew up near Miami and do you see that circular Art Deco Post Office building at 8:28? My grandma lived only one block from there. She lived to be 105!
Florida is so beautiful. I've only been 1 time to Daytona beach. Looks like a wonderful vacation.
thank you for visiting and enjoying my hometown!! I live in Broward now but I'm a Miami girl for life!
Cool 👍
You guys are awesome parents
Your kids are so lucky, they'll always be able to remember this wonderful vacation you're taking them on. Really the adventure of a lifetime and happy core memories for them.
I'm glad that you're getting the chance to see that no matter what part of the country we're from, no matter the accent (and there are ALOT of accents in the United States) basically we're just all decent people, for the most part.
Okay Nadine, we see you girl 😎 This was such a great video with an artists touch! Well done ❤
This was awesome! I live in Central Florida, and I've never been to visit Miami, so was great to see the tour. And happy that you got to see one of our beautiful Florida sunsets. Thanks for sharing your amazing adventures with us. Sending love from Sunshine State! ❤
It's so much fun watching you explore and enjoy our wonderful and imperfect country!!!
Loving all these videos of your visit. Glad you guys had such a great time. Just think, now you've been to places in the US that many Americans haven't even been to.
You guys are the cutest family! My wife and I love watching your videos. This was a great one. Miami is really cool. Be well!
I love south Florida lived here my whole life
Much love from Miami!! Come back anytime!! More Miami videos!! Haha
I love how close knit this family is, it warms my heart. God bless you.
I still can not get over how much Sam and Nadine have mini-me's. Denzel looks more and more like Sam in every video, and Atlanta could be Nadine's twin
Glad you enjoyed South Florida NZ Fam! It is a truly beautiful place!
Now you're in my neck of the woods, airboats and gators!! 💖🐊🐢
6:02 That would be a softshell turtle
Great content and great editing! New subscriber 1 month and am hooked because of love you all have for each other and how genuine it is. You can tell from live videos with no edits that family is really like who you see on normal videos. Saying hello from San Diego California.
As someone who lives just north of Miami, glad to see you all make it to South Florida.
This series has fantastic editing, great job!
The stories your kids can tell and show their friends and kids when they grow will be awesome. Y’all are great parents. Welcome to America.🙏🏽💪🏽🇺🇸
That sunset was GLORIOUS!!!❤
Sunset would have been the keys, not Miami. West coast gets the sunset over water. Keys get both
Keys get both sunrise and sunset over water
They’re even better on the gulf coast. Nothing beats the sunsets in St Pete
Wow! That looked like a lot of fun! I've never been to Miami, let alone Florida before! Also, hello from Oahu, Hawaii, USA!
They missed so much.
From Wisconsin but been all around Florida multiple times. Wish you would've toured the beautiful old historic mansions and homes from the super wealthy people who made Miami, Key Biscayne, Ft.
@@kelseyk530 Wow! That was a lot of information! I want to visit Florida one day and I hope that I get to see/learn this much stuff if I get a chance to go there one day!
@@ctkgamer8087yo whats it like living in Hawaii? I live in Arizona and if i were to move any place else it would be Hawaii.
Nice Views. Makes Me Miss Florida.
Here's some really beautiful places to visit.
1 Srinagar in Kashmir.
2 Kawachi Fuji Garden, in Japan. Can also check out the verities of vending machines.
3 Big Thompson River in Rocky mountain National park. Colorado U.S.A
4 Gothic mountain in autumn season, Colorado U.S.A
5 Creator Lake Oregon, Western U.S.A
6 Grand Prismatic Spring, Wyoming U.S.A
7 Multnomah falls, Colombia River Gorge, Oregon U.S.A
8 Notre Dame Basilica de Montreal, Quebec Canada
9 Stanley park, British Colombia Canada
10 Hiking Near Banff town, Canmore, kananaskis, and lake Louise. Canada during spring time 🌼🌱
If you ever go back, you should visit Coral Castle.
Another beautiful day😊 God bless & stay bless NZ fmly😊❤❤❤
Welcome to the South🎉❤
Sort of... glad yall had fun in an airboat and didnt get bit by one of our snappin handbags😂
I hope you guys enjoyed your time here in the U.S. you guys are an awesome family
