  • What are these LRF files that you find on the SD card from your DJI Drone? They take up about 10% of the space, so are they useful? In this video I will explain what they are and how you can make use of them in Premiere Pro or other video editors.

Unfortunately, LRF files by DJI Osmo Action 4 are recorded in a lower frame rate (in my case 30 fps instead of 60 fps) and cannot be used in DaVinci Resolve as Proxy. Leaving this comment here for everyone who is trouble shooting and stumbles across this video.

Somehow my Avata now out of no where saves two files for each recording. one file being an mp4 and the other one an lrf. The mp4 is super slow mo and has very low frame rate. The lrf on the other hand has very "low resolution". Now i cant use either one of the files and cant really record anything. Can i somehow go back to recording in smooth 4k 60fps mp4 again? Thanks!

I'm guessing that the MP4 file is still recorded at 60 fps but that somehow the software you are using to play it thinks it has a low frame rate and that is why it is soper slo mo. If you can tell your application what the fps is then it should be fine.
