2013 Audi A5 Stage 1 Tune front resonator delete sound test

- Sound comparison from a stock exhaust to one with the front res removed only.
It has a bit of a lower sound, much louder cold start, but regular driving it has a pleasant sound that is only slightly louder than stock but it doesn’t sound like a turbocharged vacuum now. Much needed upgrade for any A5.
Cost $60 at an exhaust shop to cut out and replace with new pipe.

If your gonna do a muffler delete u might as well take the resonator off too if makes a significant difference
This was only a resonator delete
gets rid of the higher end noise so it doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner anymore. It's still quiet af, but I wasn't going for volume just not sounding like a vacuum lmao
Sounding like a vacuum cleaner sounds way better then a rough day after Taco Bell breakfast. People think my car is supercharged all the time lol
Sounds nice man, stage 1 with which tuning program?
Integrated engineering tune
@@ApocTheLegenddoes stage one give you pop and crackle or is that stage 2 ?
@@zaidendnerd1263 it’s not really advertised to do it on either, mines stage 1 in the video but it’s not loud at all like a real crackle tune when u back up further
@@zaidendnerd1263you can get pop and cackle on any tune. They just inject fuel when you come off throttle or on etc and a good tuner can time it how you want etc
I got a 2014 wtw wanna do this to mine to how much did it cost u
It was like $80 for the labor and pipe piece
I’m interested in the A5 how is it in reliability
Mine has 140k miles right now and I haven't done the carbon cleaning and a lot of other maintenance. So pretty dang reliable lol. Timing chain is only just now seeming like its gonna need replaced soon, which is 20k miles past the time they tell you to replace it anyway. Have had no major failures and hardly any minor ones.
Mine has 152k miles and haven’t done big maintenance just the basics and just barely had my fuel pump go out but other than that very reliable
bruh that is an A9...
