Mahindra doesn't support right to repair yet. It's only recently that John Deere was asked by the law to support Right to repair.

John Deer could have been the biggest but since last 10-15 years they have done there best to alienate their core customer base with anti-repair practices to milk as much profit as much as possible. They are one of the worst companies when it comes right to repair.

Mahindra is only sold mostly in India, where tractors are of measley 50 H. P., whereas John Deereare of 500 H. P. sold all over the world, including India, now because of the population of India, Mahindra is surpassing John deer. But technologically, power wise and even the revenue generated is greater for John Deere. Even though John Deere is second, but they sell costly tractors and combines, which makes up for the revenue. While Mahindra sells cheap tractors. And the sales difference isn't even that much... Mahindra 345k whereas John Deere 300k...
But what about profit margins? That's the whole point.

The video was good and I thought about sharing it on our marketing group (we are also a farm solutions company with made in india products) but the last cliché lines about India just spoiled the video. What are you saying by generalising that India means quality and not quantity? Why such a fact less statement, this is not patriotism but blind faith, if you love the country judge it for its good and its bad, if we don’t recognise what’s bad how will we make it right? Btw given our population, the statement Indian means quality and not quantity seems hilarious! There are many factors that have led to Mahindra’s success but how does that mean everything in India is all about quality - best quality mangoes, tea, etc are not even sold in our country but exported overseas!! Our roads, our trains, our people, our fighter jets, our lawyers, our govt sector service providers, our primary schools, our healthcare facilities are one of the poorest in the developing world. All this gaga about India is the next superpower is all a sham… No doubt our government is always silent when it comes China!! So much about rupee rouble trade, rupee this and that trade - nothing concrete actually happened, and with Russia falling down, god knows what will happen to our army weapons, spare parts, aging jets and tanks apart from the few new french jets we got. There are good things - upi is a shining star in the world of payments, our govts tight from independence have successfully kept our country non-aligned, we got the russian oil (but here also, given extra cost on insurance and transport, we didn’t actually save much). So when you have got a platform kindly do proper use of it. Stand for whats good and point out whats not. And please stop bringing in India story in to everything!! Tomorrow I will win a international lottery and you will say that it means India is growing and that why Indians are becoming lucky and winning lottos across the world!!!
