I own the Yezdi Adventure which was launched a few months ago. One hell of a bike, no major issues until now. This bike has room only for perfection and not improvement. I hope Mahindra will go a long way with Yezdi.

Unfortunately mine case is an exact opposite. Had a terrible.service expwrience. Bike has unbearble vibs and uneven panel gaps. Rusting is a major issues with almost evry bolt catching rust in couple of months. Never recomend buying such unfinished and haphazard bike

Mahindra's two wheeler engines were very defective. My father bought Mahindra Rodeo in 2010 and we use the scooty until 2021, during the period of uses we change the block 5times...
That was all kinetic , but yes it had many faults.

Scooty is a model of TVS as like rodeo was a model of Mahindra.

Rodeo was launched in 2009. I still owns 2010 model Rodeo. It has some unique features like front fuelling, digital meter with rpm and light in the storage space. Although mine is in good condition, low mileage and low ground clearance and after sales service are the major concerns.
Yezdi's advantage - front & rear wheels were same & therefore it had a stepney !
that's a HUGE advantage if someone enjoys looong bike journeys , especially in remote areas.

I bought Centuro Disc Brake Edition in 2015. Till date this bike runs very smoothly and have good mileage. The only problem is of part unavailability & service.

I owned a Yezdi in mid 80's 😊
It was a great bike back then. One added 2T oil in the petrol tank, those 2 stroke bikes used to belch out quite a bit of smoke. Thankfully the newer bikes don't.

I own a mahindra rodeo. I think there was a flaw in the design for this scooter as it had a fuel fill position below the handle. The storage capacity is just 4 litre. In spite having a very powerful 125 cc engine, having such a small tank was not a good idea. Secondly they have a very small amount of service centres in Mumbai. Hence I believe they did not do well. But the product has excellent built quality and it has lived upto Mahindra reputation. I wish if they wouldn't have closed two wheeler operations. They had huge potential. Had they entered premium bike segment of 450 cc and 650 cc, they could have survived.

Mojo was a good product but overpriced. And then they killed it by removing the iconic exhaust.
The most important reason behind doing this was keeping the price of the bike in check while trying to implement BS6 emission norms. The second reason what I understand is, with a dual exhaust setup, the ground clearance of the bike would have gone for a toss while trying to implement BS6. It is not 2 exhausts from 2 cylinders, rather it is a single pipe split up into 2 underneath the bike. But of course, the front inverted suspension and the dual exhaust setup turns heads. I feel good when heads turn on the roads to see my bike.
First they made separate model I guess ut300 with single exhaust and xt 300 had dual but later it was done to solve the ground clearance issue cuz due to the rev happy motor people would go crazy and scrape the other exhaust. Also bs6 was another reason

I own Jawa Classic grey, 1st Ike delivered in Hyderabad, it looks beautiful and turns head in traffic signal, people often ask me is it a restorer bike? They often don't believe it is made by Mahindra Jawa!!! It was Jawa that forced RE to built new modern engjne bikes, but RE is still 30 years behind JAWA in terms of engine refinement

@adityasagar3946 the new Jawa 350 is slightly less in power but higher in torque, seats are much comfortable and wheelbase has been extended for better ride, yes you can go for Jawa 350, however if you like touring than go for Yezdi Adventure
@@MOTOFLIXGARAGE brother personally it would be my first bike so i don't have any problem with less power because no experience of comparison and i would use it in city and highway mixed i don't think i will tour with max to max 150 in single go that too in emergency condition so no planning for touring but i want a reliable bike that's must and its my main concern of maintainence and quality control

I still remember seeing a picture of the first Mahindra Mojo 300 back in 2010 in some magazine & thought damn thats one mean looking naked bike. It had the most interesting exoskeleton type styling i haven't seen since & years later they actually build the Mojo that look nowhere near as good as the original prototype.

I own Centuro and Gusto, both have completed nearly 7 yrs, happy with performances, just now facing issue of spare parts unavailability, otherwise both the bikes are good to ride
My first bike was BSA in my young age which I bought from army disposal market
Till today that was my best bike of my life
I'm waiting for relaunch of BSA in india
I wish in my old age I can ride once again on BSA

I have Gusto, that is still awesome in performance and looks. Aaj bhi scooty jo dusri companies sell krti hai wo Sirf larkiyu pr Acha lgta hai but Mahendra Gusto is bold looking and perfectly match with boys also.
They use there 4 wheeler experience in making gusto which is very powerful.

We bought the Mahindra kine in 2009 or 10 I guess and after purchasing vo scooty bas 1-2 month sahi se chali fir band hojati thi to chalu nhi hoti thi or hmari city ka Mahindra 2 wheelers ka showroom band hogya tha to service nhi hoti thi uska accelerator wire nhi mila kbhi 3-4 saal me poori kharab hogyi thi..

Yes mahindra had very bad experience with past bike and trying to fix with new launching bike.. now if we talk jawa and yezdi bike quality is not great but u can spot improvement. Mahindra should under stand customer satisfaction because they never mentioned it in two wheel sectors atleast till today. Hope they improve and our indian brands Concord over other brands in World.
Only the mojo xt300 was the better mahindra 2 wheeler. I remember those dual exhausts and that amazing bassy sound from them. Also that red lit rev counter. I hope mahindra revive that bike cuz it had a cult. It was so different and had different road presence. It needed more perfection in engine power and delivery.

Mojo was a good bike, their designer made it a bit polarised on looks,if not would have been a hit
Mahindra Flite: I think no one has ever heard of this scooty. My friend's father bought this scooty when it was launched. I only saw 3-4 Mahindra Flite in Dehradun.
That was a rebranded Kinetic Flite. Was quite common in Dehradun during the 2005-2010 era.
Then Mahindra launched a rebranded version with the name Mahindra Flite which couldn't sell like all other Mahindra 2 wheelers
Their naming strategy was also weird, every 2 wheeler had 'O' at the end, It was understandable in their 4 wheelers but not in 2 wheelers.
Duro, Rodeo, Centuro, Mojo, Stalio, Pantero these names are not even pleasing to listen, very hard to remember & doesn't come in the short vocabulary of we Indians.
Short-sighted vision, worst naming strategy & poor R&D were the major reasons behind mahindra & suzukis failed bike portfolio in Indian budget commuter market.

My friend purchased a Jawa few months ago . On hearing this I was surprised and thinking why would anyone go for such a company which has hardly any dealers, service centres and miserably failed. But when I rode his bike , I was completely shocked. I thought there was nothing better than Royal Enfield in that segment but now I know there is.
