Yes, he is! He’s actually been putting on a lot of weight and growing quite a bit. :-)
It’s good that Ezra is learning to use the railing. I have seen a few kids around Ezra’s age who are level one and still need to be reminded to do this.

Had a scan today bowel problems well also a swollen stumok with polyps but Dr said that this is normal for someone with autism basically I'm passing away. Hello boys your awesome people have a great day bye

I sometimes take my blankets off at night if it gets too warm and humid in my apartment. My building has steam heat (radiators) and temperature and humidity can sometimes be difficult to regulate.
Most of the time, Simon doesn't use the blankets
Seeing Ezra coughing in the car earlier in the video makes me wonder if he gets car sick.
The first time I remember getting car sick I was around six years old.
I think he coughs quite a bit even when he isn’t sick.
As soon as Holly said someone needed assistance I knew I would be Holly herself plus the notification of Holly on the snow is taller than the kids. Loved seeing how nurturing the 3 older kids are to Ezra and Simon

@@7Aheadfamily I also have a rediculus sunburn because I cant stand the smell of suncream so the line where my googles were has been burned into my face XD. my nose is so burned that all the skin fell off and its down to the 2nd layer of skin lol. It was painfull at first but now its funny because I look like a clown.

Yes he does. We’ve tried to help him use noise canceling headphones but he doesn’t ever really keep them on. ❤️
Simon also seems to be sensitive to loud noises.
Yeah. He does sometimes enjoy using headphones though usually just in the context of listening to music.

I was six years old, almost seven when I learned to say phrases beginning with “I like”. I remember this was when I was in first grade and I read a book titled “I like” (if I remember correctly). The book that I read in class just before that was a book about colors simply titled “Colors” (if I remember correctly).

If Simon doesn’t yet know phrases like “turn left”, “left turn”, and “turn right”, and “right turn” you can probably begin working on these with Simon at any time.

When I was growing up my mother thought twelve was too young to ski. As a result I was not allowed to go on a skiing field trip. Years later my parents justified this based on what happened to one celebrity a number of years ago on the bunny slope in British Columbia (if I remember correctly). Needless to say what happened to her was one of those “one in a million things” and she probably would have been fine if she went to the hospital instead of going back to her hotel room.
Skiing can be very dangerous, so it is important to be careful. But I feel that many people who have adequate and regular instruction at a young age are much less likely to get hurt on the slopes than people who wait to learn when they are older.
Ezra’s outfit reminds me a little of some of the outfits that I wore at home back in the late 1970s and into part of the 1980s (about ages two through nine or ten). Some of those outfits were basically either overalls or shortalls. By about age nine or ten those outfits wore out and I was considered to be too old for them. Plus they were getting small for me.

I love watching your videos and your positivity and love! Ezra reminds me so much of my son Mendy! I was meaning to ask you, what sort of therapy do Ezra and Simon get at home? I saw in one of your videos how professional and good they are! I live in NYC and have not been successful in getting good providers in ABA. What do you recommend? Thank you!!
With Simon, speech therapy has helped him a lot. He has been doing speech therapy for over a year now and he has improved quite a bit because of that. When he was diagnosed with autism, he was diagnosed level one without intellectual delay. 💕💕💕
Ezra is eight years old now. He has had many different therapies. He’s had ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and music therapy to name a few. And he has improved as he’s grown older. For example, when he was 18 months old, he didn’t even know that he could communicate with me. He has found his own unique ways of connecting socially with people in our family. We are still working on potty training. And he will use his ACC device to tell us different foods he wants or if he wants to go outside. We are teaching him spelling right now, to hopefully open that door and give him the opportunity to spell things he wants to say to us. I feel that he’s improving with the spelling but even that is a long road. It’s hard to look back and know exactly what Therapy helped him improve the most. I don’t know if I could be able to tell you which therapy was the most effective. But I do know that occupational therapy helped me the most. (As the mom) For example, when the occupational therapist came and helped Ezra stim and encouraged it to help regulate his body, I was completely shocked. I was so surprised because I had been reacting in a negative way and hadn’t realized that I’ve been doing the opposite of what I should be doing. So seeing the occupational therapist support Ezra in his sensory overload meltdowns and in his screaming fits, helped me learn how to parent better. I hope this helps.️💕💕💕

I'm so glad you try to include Ezra and Simon in all of your actitivies whenever possible, it's wonderful they get to have these experiences despite their autism and that you don't say "oh we can't do this with our autistic kids because..." I also like that you don't hide the difficulties that come with including them though. It is a lot, I'm sure, and thankfully you have the older siblings to help out. You can really see the different personalities of the boys come out here and I'm excited to see them grow more and develop as individuals. Ezra eating the snow cracked me up by the way, he seems absolutely happy and in his element here and that pure joy warms my heart❤ It's what makes it all worth it in the end!

7 ahead i wish so bad that i was surrounded by people like yall unlike what im experiencing here in Memphis Tennessee where the social environment in my high school and outside in my area are very toxic & bad because all people want to do is commit severe crimes , insult others via extreme profanity / derogratory remarks along with the high use of slang everywhere . You guys are my only happiness and support because many of my teachers & administrators are just as laid back and very rude just like the students . What is your honest advice ?
That is a very difficult situation to be in. I’m so sorry that you feel surrounded by people who are rude and who aren’t respectful. The best advice that I have is to choose to be respectful and to be kind. You can’t control anyone around you but you can control how you react to them.
I used to go skiing when I was Ezra’s age. I didn’t like it very much! I think because I have autism.

Why is ezra still in a baby chair? Why does he still need to be fed? Why does he still use a sippy cup? As I can see ezra has developed better socially but personal growth it seems he still thinks hes a baby i feel you guys should treat him more like a 8 year old than a 3 year old.
We are teaching Ezra to not sit in a high chair but he struggles with it and runs away. Ezra uses a sippy cup so he doesn't spill his drink and he needs to be fed because he is working feeding himself but he still needs some help❤️ He is learning personal growth at his own pace❤️
I think I might have been as old as six or seven when I learned the word “hurry”.
Simon is using a lot of good words lately

Hope you're recovering well. Hard falls are never fun. I've never had to call ski patrol but, I've had some hard falls myself while snowboarding. I've sprained my wrist multiple times but, the worse I've had while snowboarding was when I sprained my tail-bone (didn't know it was possible until then). Basically, I caught an edge on some ice covered in snow, somehow flipped at least once and landed on my tail-bone on the ice. It happened on one of the rare days when I was snowboarding/skiing with my dad and, at the time, he was resting in the ski cabana (he was waiting for me to be done snowboarding) at the bottom of the small mountain so, I just snowboarded to him and told him that I had a hard fall and was done for the day. I say that it was one of the rare days that my dad was with me since I was the one in my family who liked to snowboard/ski the most. So, 99% of the time, my dad would drop me off at the mountain with my ski pass and my gear and I would call him once I was done for the day so that him or my mom could come to pick me up. I would snowboard from the opening (around 7 or 8am) until 4-5pm without stopping, then, around 4-5pm, I'd finally stop for a snack/very late lunch which lead to me being too tired to continue. So, I would then call my parents and get picked up. This was my routine for every winter break from school and I always started each season with some classes (a 5 day "winter camp" with 2h of classes every morning) to review my skills and improve. Then, I would work on those through the whole season just having fun. I knew my parents number by heart so, they knew that even if my phone died from the cold (cold lower the duration of your phone's battery), I could ask any of the staff to call them as needed.

I seem to remember that the Romans used snow to make something similar to ice cream back in the day.

Skiing is a really fun winter activity! There’s cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing, alpine skiing, downhill skiing and telemark skiing etc.
Skiing helps you burn calories and gives you a lot of exercise as well.
You can ski downhill on a mountain, or a ski slope, and skiing is part of the Winter Olympics too. You can ride on a ski lift or ski gondola to make your way back up to ski again. 🎿⛷️🚠🚡
