I changed mine before they started going up in value.
Unfortunately that seemed to happen a lot with cars I had.

Why sell? These are horrible. Fast, yes. Horrible stiff ride. Run flat tires no one will change. Very expensive brakes. Shifts to 6th at 30 mph with no sport mode. Horrible differential noise. Exhaust sounds like crap. Black series seats have seat bolsters so narrow you literally sit on the sides if you’re 170 lbs. Sold mine after 3 months
Correct the r35 Gtr biggest overhyped load of scrap I’ve ever drove . Gearbox is absolutely shocking , garbage interiors poor driving position & many have rust issues . Biggest load of wa#k
Hmm, run flat tyres are usually the first thing I swap out. The gearbox has flappy paddles but it seeks a higher gear for fuel economy unless in sport mode. Cant you just stick it in sport? I’d be interested how you rate the Audi r8 v10?
@@mramg6038 sport doesn’t change the shift rpm like a Porsche. Sure change out the run flats. I couldn’t even get a dealer to touch the 20” black rims and incredibly stiff run flats.
@@mramg6038 stay away from a garbage r35 Nissan Gtr . There the biggest overhyped load of scrap usually worshipped by grand turismo fans who actually never drove one in there life .

Having driven one, I can agree first-hand that the car feels "alive" and responsive in a way that nothing else does. It's like you barely start formulating in your mind: "I wonder if it can...."
And the car has already instantly answered: "Absolutely!" And then some!
40 MPH rated curves at 100 are so utterly under control that it feels like you're doing half your actual speed. Totally in your lane. No squeal or drift. As you're heading in, you can already sense that it's all there. It's like a brick sitting firmly on the road. Solid. You power out, and it's bliss.
I've never had the sense in anything else that the car is just an extension of my mind. What Nissan achieved with this beast is beyond mere description.
Not same class simply because of time...but it's the 3000 gt of today. If your a regular guy/gal. This is your potential supercar.

I have my 2013 GT-R for 5 years now. Before that I owned an r33 GT-R for 5 years. Absolutely love these cars. Nothing else for me. Relatively cheap to run when they're stock and exciting handling with great engine sound. ❤

I've owned a 2014 in this colour, stage 4.25 for over 7 years, so much of what u said is true. I just can't sell mine though 👍

Absolutely loved mine, had a 2019 litchfield-track-edition with the upgraded suspension. Easy to live with despite the mpg, servicing not too bad for its ability. Wish I hadn't sold it!!

Maybe people in the future should be smart enough to test, drive a car and read up on it first

I'm coming up to 12 months of ownership, and honestly, watching your vids really swayed my decision to buy one! I have no idea where to go after this. I can't afford anything faster and more capable, so I'm leaning towards oldskool cool or comfort?! Who knows, maybe I'll wait and see what you do 😂.

They are easy cars to drive fast, very little can keep up with them & no doubt they are diabolically quick.
As long as they are stock & you only drive it hard once a month, they are reliable.
But the thing is, they are very expensive cars to maintain.
They are a supercar, but even in comparison to other supercars they are expensive.
But the good thing about them is, Nissan will repair whatever goes wrong with it.
They also have an enormous cult following.

There is no comparison 😆😆 Gtr are utter garbage & anyone who ACTUALLY drove for one for some time on the public road will understand that

Why f type is Available and GTR IS NOT... i can get 2016 base for 75000 AED less than 22k$ and the gtr's are 60$ min were are the 200x I love the 2009-2007 look and feel
2014 owner for 3 years, in a bayside my20 for the last 3 years they ok, you just need to budget if you in an older version. Not that expensive to keep otr , However there’s little change in the first to the last version
unless your getting another gtr don't sell otherwise prepare to be shitted on I'm the near future because nothing is gonna give you what the gtr can unless your spending silly dow

Do it, experience other cars, absolutely got to be done. In the last 1 year I’ve had a mk3 TTRS, Golf R & M140i, all highly modified and tuned them. Last weekend I picked up a 2010 LCI E92 M3! Simply just for the experience. Probably do a euro road trip in it next year then off it’ll go and into the next car I’ll be 😊

R35 is probably the most overrated cars ever usually hyped by UA-cam fanboys that never actually drove one . In todays standard the Gtr is way outdated with 15 years technology in a dinosaur that’s is over priced . All in all there a ball of utter scrap
R35 owner here. I’m assuming you’re talking from experience of driving one but I wholeheartedly disagree with your assessment. After test driving a bunch of high-end performance cars including the Audi R8 V10, C8 Corvette, GT500 and of course the GT-R, this was the most pleasurable and brutal car of them all, and that’s why I bought it over those. The GT-R brings a visceral experience that is unmatched, especially if you do light changes like downpipes and a small tune. All the other cars are fun but more muted and disconnected, the GT-R is the most aggressive feeling. You mention it being outdated, but the lack of changes it’s had in last 15 years is what makes it so great. Ask any BMW fan what the best driving BMWs are, they’re gonna tell you the E chassis models (mid 2000’s). The new ones are fast and handle well, but they’re muted. The GT-R beckons from that era. There’s an old saying that I’m sure you know, “don’t fix what isn’t broken”. Well the GT-R is just that. As far as it being overpriced, I can somewhat agree with new ones, but even just a few years ago you could scoop them up brand new for $100k. Even at their current price of $130k+, they are still destroying super cars double their price that I’m sure you wouldn’t complain about the price of. Not to mention said super cars that are double the price of the GT-R are also way unreliable. You can easily find GT-R’s with over 100,000 miles (160,000 kms) that have had nothing break. There’s even a guy that daily drives his GT-R and it’s at 150,000 miles (240,000 kms) on original engine and transmission. You will not get that kind of consistent longevity out of any other car that offers this level of performance.
@@northwestscent9455 all story short there outdated over priced ball of scrap . The gearbox for example is absolutely shocking never mind the cheap garbage interior . They suffer now from a lot of corrosion issues surprise surprise never mind in total standard there not even close for outright pace . I’ve had experience with a facelift 2017 model & instantly said no way this is one awful driving car especially around towns . Mate move on with the times the Gtr is 15 years old & everything on them is lagging behind the competition now .
@@davida7713 you’re stating opinions not facts. It doesn’t corrode worse than any other car, I don’t know what you really mean by that. Transmission is great, yes it makes noise, but it’s a performance car who cares. Gear changes in the GT-R are much smoother than the Lamborghinis and R8s, ask anyone who has actually driven those cars (like me) every shift kicks you. So I don’t know what about the transmission is bad in your opinion. You’re not an owner and you have no baseline to go off of. Like I said I test drove all those cars and the GT-R is the best overall. If you want a luxury interior get an S-Class Mercedes not a race car 😂 the GT-R is for true enthusiasts, like I said newer cars are more mutedX the GT-R 2000’s tech is what makes it’s such a badass ride. I think you formed pre-conceived notions on the car so when it didn’t match that you decided it was bad.

Theres a GTR we regularly see at our local drag strip and its always leaving cars behind average 145-149mph 1/4 mile
No way your getting a good price atm. But what ever you buy will have the same discount.
