I've seen copies of this album advertised at £40 upwards. Picked up a superb copy at a record fair in Liverpool at the weekend for 50 pence! Sounds as good as it did in 1984
Almost impossible to get a copy of this album, it can be got by downloading I have found ;) Continues to be a truly unforgetable collection of songs superbly sung and played, in short a MASTERPIECE.
Steve Cook. Yes, this album was probably probably some of Peter Skellern's best work! All the songs were absolutely gorgeous! Such a pity this group of musicians only did one album. Peter Skellern is sorely missed. We sing two of his songs at Durham Harmonics and I'd love to do a couple more in the future!
Peter Skellern and Mary Hopkin both have voices that seem to come straight out of the thirties. Love them both.
