mark always says “i apologize, i only use the f bomb for historical accuracy” every time he quotes harrison and i love it
No reason to apologize at all
"Telephone Telegraph tell a Carrie" is quite possibly the greatest thing I've ever heard in my life
He's paraphrasing a line from a classic film (can't remember the name) "Telephone, telegraph, or tell a woman"
Oh
@@jasondecharleroy4161 good reference
Didn't you ever read word of god.think agian bro
@@maxamedaadanaxmed1626 which god? There are around 3000 to choose from.
Mark Hamill is an incredible voice actor.
Maxblind20 i think he likes voice acting more than normal acting aswell
There's an OLD interview with him and Johnny Carson (probably before Jedi) where he'd tease Frank Oz during lunch and he did a perfect impression of Yoda.
Hell he was voice of Jeker in Batman animated series
was*
@@Ancienregime8090 also in the arkham series
Damn the Harrison Ford impression was spot on!
Yeah, his impression was so perfect, I swear he was possessed by Harrison for a second. Lol
👍🏼😂
Mark Hamill is a professional voice actor for a reason
It’s INSANELY good!
0:51 Well, Obi-Wan did kill Luke's father... from a certain point of view
True
Lmao dude I’m weak.... POV I’m done 💀
A certain point of view?!?!
Julius KIm from the High ground view?
BUT FROM MY POINT OF VIEW THE JEDI ARE EVIL
"Hey kid, you didn't fuckin' tell me that!" LMFAO!😂
goatboy brilliant impersonation 🤣
"Hey, I don't sound anything like that"
Perfect Harrison Ford impression
1:03 "Wallop, the hand goes off" Just another day at the office!
Eduardo Soliz Wallop.... reminds me of cuphead.
When u click on it it sounds like it says bleach
nOosearchyourfeelingsyouknowitstrue
Well it’s Star Wars so dismemberment is pretty par for the course
🤣🤣👍🏼
The "wallop the hand goes off." He is just the greatest story-telling warrior in the galaxy.
🙌🏻😍
2:20 he does such a great job impersonating Harrison Ford. He’s a terrific voice actor
👍🏼👏🏻😍
Mark Hamill is a gift to a mankind
Are you eastern european by any chance?
@@transparent91wait, why? 💀
Mark Hamil is a national treasure. It's a shame he isn't in more movies, but a guy with that talent deserves to rest
I believe he still voice acts, which he wanted to do more than actual acting
He’s the coolest, chillest, most honest and down to earth actor in Hollywood.
You can here the Joker in his natural voice. Amazing
No you can sea it
Hahahaha! Nice one, man.
I think you mean “hear” not “here”.
He was amazing at voicing the Joker. Im surprised DC havent looked at bringing that animated series back because its more popular than ever.
@@frizzyred1292 because DC can't do anything right. They can't even make s good movie
1:35 "is that true?....well you search your feelings." 😂😂😂👏👏👏
This one clip is the greatest moment of graham norton. It has everything
1. Star wars story
2. Cast tales
3. TeleCarrie
4. Harrison ford impression
Magic !!!!
Not forgetting Daisy Ridley looking utterly gorgeous
5. “Wallop the hand goes off”
@@tktru yes
Yes!
Mark Hamil is so charismatic and such a good storyteller
"Hey kid? You didn't fukin tell me that"
Harrison Ford, 1980
Pretty sure it was: “Hey Kid, she didn’t fuckin tell me that.”
I love how everyone shuts up and just listens to Mark Hamill. He has an incredible storytelling talent.
Please make a Netflix Original Series: Tales from the Hamill
Yes!! That needs to happen
That would be freaking awesome!!!
I’d actually renew my Netflix subscription for that one
Then unfortunately Disney would buy Netflix
Now THAT we need!
Mark Hamill's personality even seems like Luke Skywalker.
I'm sure it is - to a degree
The original Luke Skywalker. Not the unrecognisable character that was fucked up the butt by Mickey Mouse.
Ikr
Why George picked him all those years ago
Tbh I personally think thats because Mark Hamill didnt „play“ Luke Skywalker, he didn’t adapt a role, he just turned the role of luke skywalker to Mark Hamill, he just played himself with a new name, Luke.
I like how Daisy reacted to his first Harrison Ford impression as if to say: “Yes, that’s just what he sounds like”
The thing that charms me most about Mark Hamill is how comfortable he is, and how he seems to relish, his place in pop culture history.
So many actors that get a role that achieves over-the-top pop culture fame spend the rest of their lives being bitter about the typecasting (Fred Gwynne, Ted Cassidy, etc.). I feel like Mark Hamill is actually thanking the fans with his positive attitude in every appearance.
He's a real nerd's nerd. Truly. What the Star Wars franchise has become really couldn't suit him more.
Then he went on to become the greatest voice behind the Joker.
Mark still has the Luke Skywalker haircut! Still looks good on him, too.
I wonder if he got a mullet in the early 90s...imagine Mark Hammill with a mullet doing the Joker :)
Mark Hamill is way too funny my god and those impressions. Great voice actor! Star wars rules
how many times did graham interupt him? 0. if he went on fallon this conversation would never have happened.
Sadly not just Fallon. I have had plenty of interviews that drove me nuts because Conan or Kimmel kept butting in.
I honestly don't understand how Fallon still has a job. He's really bad at it. And he earns more than Conan too.
@@alanfrost75 i dont think conans that bad. kimmel and fallon definitely.
Not to mention Fallons fake laugh. I hear it's used to enrage MMA fighters
@@jayparmo2284 Conan is great by himself, he does have a habit of butting in a joke tho. Sure he can be funny with it which makes it less annoying but not a good interviewing skill. Fallon and Kimmel are just ughh.... how are they still on TV?
Mark Hamill is a living legend
the fact he's so down to earth and doesn't let the fame go to his head
I've watched this clip I don't know how many times and his Harrison impression still makes me laugh so loud!
Dad... Vader LoL
Obi-Wan did technically kill Luke's father and from the ashes Darth Vader was born.
But I remember the slaying of younglings before anyone had The high ground
His Harrison Ford impression was spot on 😂
The style of the show cracks me up. Without the actors, I literally would have no idea what decade this was recorded.
You are extremely good as a secret keeper again in The Mandalorian ss2 finale.
That Harrison Ford impression was so perfect it was SCARY! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I absolutely died during the Harrison Ford impression 🤣🤣🤣
He's always been a great story teller!
:: WALLOOP! ::
All of my life I have been making the wrong sound effect for a lightsaber cut.
I feel so stupid now.
His harrison Ford voice over is bang on lol
This man is so organic! Truly a genuinely nice person.
This is still just awesome. And I'm still so pissed he didn't have a prominent role in the new movies. What a frigg'n mistake.
I agree R J L, I loved Hamill as Skywalker and his character was not really present at all as written in the sequels. I didn't see Luke there at all and Hamill didn't either - the script did his character a huge disservice.
R J L It’s almost as if they didn’t want Luke in this new trilogy at all
@@superjackster0165 "Almost"? They didn't want the OT cast involved but felt like they had to shoe-horn them in there. Han went back to being a Smuggler for.. reasons. Luke turned to the Dark Side, giving into fear and then suicide. Leia was so dossile and not the spitfire she was in the OT films.
not even 1 scene with Han and Luke, forget about Han, Luke, Leia, Chewie and Lando
The accuracy of this Mark Hamill story and the same story he told to Kimmel goes to show how many times he told this story to people 😂
shit, Mark is such a showman. Such a charismatic guy, he could easily host a show
Love him so much!
2:18
“Oh my gosh! Dad Vader!” I crack up every time
I find this man so completely perfect.
I love how he talked about the original trilogy other than the one he didn't like
Show of hands, who just kept looking at Daisy’s dress? Lol I’m in love
A plot reveal so shocking even the cast and the production team were left speechless from...
Mark is like the only one who felt bad about Jake Lloyd being bullied and apologized
Mark Hamill is a National treasure!
ok
"historical accuracy" LMAO
Mark Hamil hasn't been in the spot light for years
He's back
I love this interview of Mark Hamill. It’s SO FUNNY!
He's had to say that story a million times
How does Han greet his son in epi 9? "Hey kid.
" 😆🤣🥰
'I apologise for the F-Bomb.' Mark, there is absolutely no need, sir.
Damn... So somehow Kershner, Lucas, Hamill, and Jones were able to keep the biggest twist in cinema history under wraps not only from the audience, but from the people making the movie (the post production crew and the rest of the actors).
In Jones's case, he believed that line was said by Darth Vader to fool Luke as some mind trick or something.Jones only had to record the line after filming wrapped. Kershner, Lucas and Hamill had to keep that secret before filming began.
Cool fact the guy who is marks friend who he gave the script to was Robert Englund who went on to play Freddy Kruger
Ah that’s wrong. Englund tried out for the role of Han Solo. Then when back to his place and told mark to audition for Luke skywalker
or starkiller at that time. Meanwhile hamill had been sleeping on England’s couch.
I would love to see Mark Hamill in a sitcom
I'm not surprised when Mark Hamill impersonate Harrison Ford's voice because Mark is also a voice actor
I love his impression of Harrison Ford
I just loove this with Mark!
😆😂😂😂
Brilliant
I was NOT ready for Hamill's Harrison Ford impression.
Harrison: Why is The Joker imitating me,,Kid?
And he had to keep his involvement in the season finale of the Mandalorian for a year even while doing promotion for The Rise of Skywalker. Now that is impressive.
To be honest, I mainly looked up this video for the Harrison Ford impression.
he even sits like a jedi.. love mark hamill
The biggest secret in history being Luke skywalkers involvement in Mando s2 😂😍
Sitting like a Jedi , love it
Oh god this is a great interview. Love this!
Mark Hamill is an incredible storyteller
He is awesome
Must be a nightmare trying to come up with different anecdotes for each interview for the press tour for this movie. Especially about Carrie, I think Mark has been a really loyal amazing friend to Carrie during the last year, its can't be easy. If he says too much hes accused of using her name for publicity & if he says nothing he's ignoring her. Imagine if Harrison was still in the movies & had to promote them. BTW i really liked the movie, i get why some fans are disappointed with some of it but its one of those nightmare movies thats never gonna live up to the nostalgia of the originals.
I could hardly wait to see the movie. As I recall movies weren't released all over the U.S. back then. We had to wait to see them in the midwest. Being a Sci-Fi nut I took the day off work to see the first Star Wars movie in South Bend, IN, it was well worth it. The Cinematic, and CGI effects were way above any Sci-Fi movie before. Although, the dialog was pretty corny. Sci-Fi wasn't taken very seriously back then. Believe or not many people did not like Star Wars.
@@chrissimon8368 but most did liked it
And now he kept the biggest secret in TV history
What a legend!
Obi wan did killed his father
Anakin died and Vader was born.
Obi-Wan: You have done that yourself!
The Anakin side was "killed" by the dark side "Vader". Obi-Wan didn't do anything to push him to the dark side.
Mark Hamill is a treasure.
Sometimes I feel so lonely, being the only person to have never seen Star Wars. I've never understood the references. Oh well maybe one day I'll find the interest to watch the entire series of movies.
"Hey kid, you didn't fuckin' tell me that." 😂😂
Mark Hamill. The man's a laugh riot! 😆
I’m pretty sure the first Harrison Ford impression he actually says: “Hey kid, SHE didn’t fuckin tell me that.” He was just talking about how Carrie Fisher couldn’t keep a secret.
What a national treasure man Mark Hamill
On this couch there is true Star Wars royalty! And three other people.
Omg who knew he had this side to him. Some great lines there. Wonder who was hooking up with Carrie Fisher though. You just know that by the 3rd movie, Indiana Solo had to be hitting that. The line about telegram, telegraph, tell a Carrie was priceless
100% certain the Director only told him cause He had already told someone else and needed someone to blame
Great interview!!!
how amazing the original star wars is to the new. It's still talked about
This man is next tier: *Inter* national treasure.
His vader voice was great
1:41 Dad Vader
Hahahaha 😂😂
If you love Hamill, I always recommend watching the video "Mark Hamill Joker Eulogy" (live on stage) where he talks about his favorite bit, doing the Joker on Batman: The Animated Series.
Great interview , shame Mark was not potrayed as well in the latest star wars films thanks to disney , he is an always be Luke and a quality bloke to boot .
Mooooore Hamill!
He is Great.
I LOVE YOU BBC!
Ooooh that's Gold
James Earl Jones must have known too at some point.
But in a recording booth a few months before the film was released. Not a year and a half before filming began.
Jones told an interviewer once that he thought Vader was just lying.
@@billolsen4360 he did, you can actually see this part of the interview in the documentary Empire of Dreams
he seems like a wonderful guy
:D
OBI WAN NEVER TOLD YOU HE WAS THE REAL VILLAN...
He did steal your lightsaber while you were burning to death. Not cool, Obi! Not cool!
@@Paulafan5 yes
Truly excited for obi-wan tv series now!!
Hamill knows how to tell a story...
"This is your father's plot twist, child. A shocking reveal, from a more... well-told tale."
Mark sounds so much like Harrison its almost terrifying.
