We miss your Gunz videos! Now that Gunz is officially coming to Steam through Masangsoft, I can't wait to see more of your work. They’re truly a work of art-no joke. Only those who know how tedious editing videos like these can be really understand that feeling.
Thank you sir , You made something very special for a small group of persons on this earth. But as small as we are ,,, apreciation is great. Thank you!
learning k-style can be looked at as a life lesson. there are days where u feel like all your efforts have been pointless. but if u keep going u can reach ceilings u never thought u could reach.
i remember way back in the golden days of gunz, i used to be accused of hacking/cheating quite a bit and even went up against a mod/adm, they wiped the floor with me but concluded i wasnt hacking 🤣🤣
Binged the full 4 episodes, was excited to see some K-Style action and instead was given a very long filler episode of a fashion show.. and I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED. Your editing is unmatched and there's a real charm to your content. You can see the effort is put in. Thank you for a great mini-series! 10/10 would (will) binge watch again.
Randomly came across this series just because Gunz came up in a conversation with a friend talking about games we used to play. I'm tremendously impressed by the storytelling and video editing skills you picked up along this journey more so than the K-style.
Damn son, never expected that kind of a video to pop-up on my feed. Glad you had fun and Im proud of you learning k-style even that many years after game official death. ~random OG International Gunz and later IJJI Gunz player
thanks for telling an honest story about our community and where we are, and your own perspective on it all as a new player. without ending it with "the game fell into obscurity" as if we don't still play it lol
I missed this game a lot, played it way back. Loved the VIP mode. Had a lot of respect for the people that could do the kstyle stuff effectively and consistently, I definitely couldn't -- not without something to assist with the controls, which is what I ended up making since at one point you either could or you lost the game. So, I made it a bit more accessible to myself. Admittedly, I did hack on the game, along with some others that I hanged out with on the game. Though, we kept the more prolific use of disruptive hacks to our own private lobbies and would play normally in public lobbies. Mostly it was just people tinkering around with the client to see what all could be done and having fun with it without aiming to ruin the game for others. One of my first exposures to assembly (ASM), tbh. Think I stopped playing when the mass character deletion hacks happened and that kinda killed off the playerbase for the official servers (at least from what I recall). I was never aware of what occurred later on such as other communities / servers being run around the game.
Your storytelling and editing is fantastic. In my 17 years of playing this game I've never seen anything like this. Way to make a relic look fresh. I really loved the use of the character model and animation, as well as the effect with the blue overlay and red and white masked characters. Incredible work, this was such a joy to watch. Thank you!
Man, you LITERALLY got me crying with this editing. So many feelings of nostalgia, I can't even describe how overwhelmingly emotional of a ride this was, and it was great. I didn't know you and didn't think anyone cared enough to invest time crafting such a well done and passionate video. The Duel, as we called it here in Brazil, was probably one of my first games ever. I'm from 1994 and back in the start of the 2000s we started seeing more PC games here in Brazil, but as it has mostly been, these games took a while to get here. Luckily, we had a up and coming star publisher called Level Up! Games, famous por publishing Ragnarok Online back then, who also brought The Duel to national servers, and I remember they issued those gaming magazines that came with a CD inside, and there it was, the first contact with online games of my entire life. The CD was actually an installer containing more than one of the publisher games, and there was The Duel. I played it since so early here, and so did my friends; it was all we had, besides flash games on the internet, and we owned it. I lived so many lifes inside The Duel, and when you said it was a decade and a half old, I was shocked. It feels like yesterday because it was, for me, but not so much for my friends, the best game I have ever played and the best times I have ever had, from official Level Up! Games GunZ to the private servers. I was there. My friends didn't come along for that ride, but I never really felt alone when playing it. Training Town is how I proceeded to spend most of my time when I was playing after official servers came down, which happened earlier here in Brazil by the way. Anyway, growing up life hasn't been easy for me. I'm 30 next year and my depression still gets the best of me, I graduated in 2016 and haven't got a real job since, the ones I tried didn't last more than 6 months and I felt I didn't want to do this anymore. Yesterday I was browsing reddit when it recommended me a post from r/gunz, which then led me to your video. And today, inspired by your story, I came back to share this story of my own. I felt I just had to be real and emotional because that is what you made me feel. Showing a beautiful unseen story from the most unique game and a very unique part of my life in a way I could never. I wish my comment was as well structured as your video script but I hope I got what I was feeling through. The end specially resonated with me, how you said it's never too late to pursue something different, and it clearly shows your love and dedication to the production. Anyways, that was very inspiring and an emotional ride, thank you for dedicating your time and effort so this story can be heard and seen. It may be over, but it will forever live inside our hearts. Thank you. Wishing you all the best.
Hey, I discovered the duel br server this year while I was in Argentina. I've never seen anyone outside of Brazil acknoweldge it. Have you played it? it looks like a great server!
Congrats on making the actual best GunZ content i've ever seen! Your journey was beautiful to experience, and as someone who's never shut up about this game ever since the MAIET era, made emotions well up in my heart with all of the nostalgia and sincerity of this whole thing. Thank you for sharing it all with us. I cannot wait for whatever else you create.
Underrated ah youtuber just casually making whole ass full production value movies about a video thats wasnt supposed to exist in a game was supposed to continue existing.
Every time I cross a video of GunZ, I wish this era of games came back, the feeling that these kinds of shooters had back then, it was something else, like an off brand, but in a good way, so many good memories with the likes of Point Blank.
incredible shit dude. you are a real diamond in the rough. your videos have an old internet feel to them, being posted without a massive audience and for story telling rather than profit, but with a new more technical video editing flare. truly great work
Hey man I haven't played this game, but I know the nostalgic feeling of us 90s kids when we used to play all day on one game and it was truly special for us , I know most of us here can name a few games that you are very fond of. Thank you for spending the time editing and uploading this video for all of us.

I use to play this game a lot with my friends back in the day. Its really cool seeing you go through your own journey in this game. Keep up the great work!
why don’t they just remaster the damn game. I’ve been trying to get into it myself but the gatekeeping on this game is insane. Great video btw, that fashion show had me rolling
Nice to see the lore. I was wondering how there was 300+ players online in FGunz because I'm pretty sure there were less when I played 7+ years ago. It seemed like a lot but I didn't know there was a nostalgic Gunz video that went viral.

the amount of time that went into this.. thank you tandori for providing me with a one of kind experience revolving around a one of a kind game, you truly are a talented & awesome human being. I remember that gunz is way more tactical in my era , nowadays it's a shot spamming button smashing memory because of antilead . anyway can't help it since there's not much people to play with.
btw. Hatts off to your dedication and Good Production.
btw. Who Remember Sheshumaru who helped Igunz server back then. He's one of a good hacker . I just forgot the website he's been in the hacking era.

I'll surely watch any of your videos, ur really dedicated!
all of ur vids are fking amazing, keep putting gunz out there and keep doing your style
I think for GunZ to come back a few things need to happen.
1. The framework that GunZ operates under has DDoS protection.
2. The Netcode will need to no longer be Peer to Peer.
3. GunZ would need official support, which will allow for accounts to have a meaningful account progression system.
4. Areas for legitimately new players to play around on. (Some kind of APM detection to prevent smurfing)
Ok but the Bollywood Drama reference was so spot on 🤣
Well ill be damned, last comment was asking if you took inspiration from Uberdanger and Barney64 and a year later the voiced stuff thats so fucking cool huge congrats great video as well
