This and Maplestory, Flyff, timeless classics. Middle school / high school - ahh man the nostalgia. I remember tiring out my fingers trying to learn K-Style, Perfect Butterflies and the double shotgun.. I find myself going back to these older MMO's / FPS for their music and it immediately triggers good memories and simpler times. Amazing !

This game was like the epitome of cool. Everything about it just exuded badassery. Running along walls, switching between guns and swords, dashing around in the air... and all with some insanely good music. And a match would always start with "Let's Rock!" to sum it all up.
The chill times: *Town - Training* - Three people are trying to learn tbf on the walls. - The group that sword charges to hang off ledges for hours. - The two or three people that are constantly dueling and talking shit about eachother. - The one person that runs around the map droppings meds and ammo for hours. *Noobslayer593 has joined* - Yes... relatable , i was the guy that kept dueling ppl and shittalking them and them shittalking me lol and when i wasnt dueling i was going around the map and chatting non stop the entireee evening with the fan on cus its hot af here until i went to sleep like 11 pm , got banned twice for messing with mods lol but i always got away cus my brother also used to play gunz and he was friends like a shit ton of those mods so i got unbanned pretty easily lmao , good times as hell , sad stuff even if i play the game today i get a bit but still dont get quite the feeling i used to get back in the day , i just admitted to myself i grew kinda tired of the game , but either way im never forgetting the wonderful community and most importantly where all my love for games really started: on gunz :)

IDK why that outfit, just dug it. And that level 50 Golden Dragon Sword, even if I had Shura. Mmph I miss this game.
The complexity that this game brought with K Style is insanely captivating. Playing the game was easy but perfecting K Style was a never ending process. It sucks that this game is ruined by it's poor design in terms of p2p and hackers. Who remember that annoying NAT agent error where you spawn in a game where everybody had this disconnecting symbol above their heads? The way the game played was pure magic, it should've been GunZ 2 number 1 focus, satisfying the core audience of GunZ 1. The muscle memory will never leave my brain, up to this day ( after 10 years ) I can still do the butterfly, SS and wall slashing. Simply amazing!!
Henry naw be the shotgun trick is you have two shotguns equipped and you hit the R button to cancel the animation time to let off two shots very quickly
K-Style wasn't actually that complex. It was a broken method of playing that essentially rendered you invulnerable. I doubt it was intentional and more or less something that got into the game and broke it, and was never fixed. It was full of hackers, shitty p2p connections, and it was a p2w title.
Bittersweet memories. I practiced really hard to become better...Then I got lucky and joined the coolest little clan. Everyone had their own unique look and fighting style. There was just maybe 12 of us but we were like family within a very competitive game. It fell apart and I didn't realize how rare it was to build again what we built...Especially in a world where only owning or leveling mattered. I had to quit.
i had the same... i refused to wield guns and just used 2 katana's people laughed at me and said i needed gunz to survive harsh battles so i got some eventually but i was feared in my group as i was extremely skilled because all i used was katana's using butterfly k-style and what not
Yo same here! We had formed a clan. About 7 of us. And then one relationship got ruined which lead everyone to disband and branch out. I'll never forget making clan forums on the internet to post in LOL
My brother showed me this game one summer in 2006. We played the shit out of it, and a few years later ijji went to aeria, and then Gunz just.... went to random private servers. I still have a USB somewhere with our clan wars... it's a precious memory of a younger time. There is nothing even remotely close to this game. It had elements of other games, but the bizarre nature of the glithces (and its latency system) just made it an experience all its own. This music's nostagia factor is amazing, well written soundtrack!

The lobby theme and then the 17:12 music (Ryswick style) were my favorite! I have no idea how many years it's been since I used to spend my nights and weekends playing this! Good times, I don't regret a thing.
these songs bring back great memories and makes me want to play it again, its got tekken vibes, i had a lot of fun i played with a few clans. k-style was fun and also liked using the bazooka, it was slower, but good at sniping around walls from far away. also we would have 1v1 sword only duels with clans, no guns, can still butterfly slash, we would bow before each match.
This game was so awesome, as good as I am nowadays, I much more enjoyed the era where a lot of the community was still very unskilled and we all just rocked uzis, rifles and machineguns, rolling around while shooting, enjoying a nice day after school. ♥

i know that feel bro , the only dash , hack n' slash game that exist on pc without auto aim assist bullshit and require very higher skill with non-logical nostalga feel , it still suprise me that no one make an anime about this game & story , if only this game was not free and actually pay to play not pay to win with bunch of transaction even though it was free then i rather pick pay to play , because atleast it pay off the bill for every update to make sure prevent hacker and help the development team to improve the game more rather than free to play and hacker keep comming and comming until the game is shutdown with no payment to help the team development to stay anymore :'(

i try it already , it suck , auto disconect after 40 min survival or deffend mission , can't break the wave record because of the game have too much problem for me , not just me but everyone else too , and not to mention the unexpected ddos recently :/

these songs bring back great memories and makes me want to play it again, its got tekken vibes, i had a lot of fun i played with a few clans. k-style was fun and also liked using the bazooka, it was slower, but good at sniping around walls from far away. also we would have 1v1 sword only duels with clans, no guns, can still butterfly slash, we would bow before each match.

This game was so awesome, as good as I am nowadays, I much more enjoyed the era where a lot of the community was still very unskilled and we all just rocked uzis, rifles and machineguns, rolling around while shooting, enjoying a nice day after school. ♥

Servidores piratas também era maior alegria, System GunZ, Skull GunZ , tinha uns eventos que rolavam que valiam jjang (que era cor de nome personalizados, moedas de evento) e o carai a 4

Last time I've played this legend of a game was probably 2009. Yesterday song from 17:09 started to play in my head and I've decided to go and download the game for good old time sake, but found out that the game was shut down since 2013... Omfg, i were like 6 years old and i watched my brother play... I got so fascinated by that game... So when i got 8 years old i had one pc and started playing it. It was the best game ever! I played all days and when i saw that it closed by hackers i cryed so much man... I'm crying saying this in the comentary with this music :( I WON'T PLAY A BETTER GAME THAN GUNZ : THE DUEL IN MY ENTIRE FUCKING LIFE!!!!

Man, no other game was able to be so addicting and memorable as this one. Never thought that listening to these songs years further would struck me this hard and shed a tear. I'm going to miss those little Palmplow motherfuckers and questing on Christmas eve with other people who also had no friends to go out to do some other stuff xD
Man I miss this so much don't get me wrong I know private servers such as eurogunz are still running but to me its nothing compared to the original ijji gunz it is a weird feeling now that it is gone
