- This saw is the DeWalt cheap Sawzall but really isn't worth the money I do not recommend it. It is inadequate and disappointing by a variety of measures even though it does have power to pull the blade. I test & compare to a old Porter-Cable orbital Tiger Saw as well as a 13 amp Milwaukee orbital super Sawzall . .
Diablo carbide pruning blades are the way to go man. They aren’t overly expensive (in my opinion at least). I think I paid somewhere around $10 for a 9” carbide tipped pruning blade. And it’s amazing. I had a Milwaukee pruning blade with the basic pruning saw teeth and it was junk and it was maybe $8. So that extra buck or two is so worth it.
At my local Home Depot, the current price for the 10 Amp Dewalt DWE304 is $89. And the current price for the Milwaukee 13 Amp Super Sawzall is $189. I'm not very surprised that, if you double the cost, the more expensive and more powerful saw performs better.
Found this DeWalt saw at the pawn store almost new for 50 bucks. For 50 in definitely happy with it
Got this model years ago, powerful, cuts great.
Definitely for work not surgical procedures.
Skip to 7:30 if you are here for the disassembly.
The point of a teardown is to get a visual of how to disassemble the unit so its not really a teardown if u skip the teardown process
Nice review .. and an honest opinion ..
Even on the Dodgy Nike test-bench 😄
I’ve had this saw for a couple years, used it a lot for remodeling, and overall I like it. It’s been robust and wasn’t very much money, and the only thing Ace hardware had for under $100. Obviously not the best.
The Milwaukee was orbital the Rockwell was more like a milkshake making machine and you gave up seconds before the dewalt was about to Finnish , sorry but that was too obviously biased against the dewalt.
You were pushing down just as hard when using the old porter saw as you were with the Dewalt. No real visual difference between their speed or ability.
A interesting note is dewalt makes a corded compact sawzall I wonder how good they are though. I'm a dewalt guy myself but when it comes to a sawzall I would rather use a Milwaukee they made to last along time and one of there only tools that are assembled in usa.
This is my first reciprocating saw... I just wanted to know how to install the blade :/
Best tool reviewer on UA-cam 👍👍👍
Do a teardown video about the lows craftsman cordless nail gun.
How do you take the saw blade out
That was an excellent video. An in-depth look. Thanks a lot. One thing, I wish you would linked as to where to buy the specific Milwaukee saw you displayed.
I'm not sponsored and I don't have any affiliate kickback contracts that's why I don't linked it purchase in my reviews except for the random few.
I encourage you to look and find the best deal you can
Does the dewalt dwe305 cut also plastic and drywall ?
There are blades for reciprocating saws cut just about any material including Plastics
We get it. You don't like DeWalt.
Tool is good for the job. I guess is a preference issue.
what size torx screwdriver?
The new corded Milwaukee sawzalls are garbage. Absolutely garbage. These have outlasted almost every other saw I’ve had.
Apples & oranges... you’re comparing a $200+ tool to an $80 tool.
Got a DeWalt ad before this video 🤣
Title in spanish please !
One fan from México...
YEAH Another power tool!!!
Thought my Mrs moaned a lot
i have a 10+ year old rigid r3000 i have beat the ever living shit out of it and it still works
