Hi. I was just having to glue a 5 x 7 vellum sheet to card front. I decided to try Elmer's school glue stick. I applied to back of vellum sheet (goes on purple and dries clear) put something heavy on it and it dried clear. No glue marks. Looks Perfect!! It has been 3 days and still glued down. Wonderful

Glad it worked out! I've never tried glue stick before. Thanks for sharing.

I don’t use vellum a lot. A long time ago someone suggested putting liquid adhesive on all of the vellum surface to be adhered so that all of it is “discolored”.

I have tried that one. For me I find it difficult to get the glue even. I think I just lack patience. 😆 Thanks for watching and commenting!

I find that if I run vellum through the Xyron machine or use vellum tape runner it works very well.

I do know about the Xyron, which is a great option. I'm not familiar with vellum tape runners! Could you point me/us to an option you like?

Just found this video - thanks so much for the info!! I have been looking everywhere for the name of that tape runner you use - please share it with me or a link to it 😊 I’m going through the little tombow ones like crazy 😅

I'm assuming you are talking about the large pink tape runner. That is called an ATG -- or "advanced tape glider". It is made by Scotch. They come in different sizes but most crafters have the 1/4" size. Michaels carries them. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for these ideas. I have an extra problem. I'm using my leftover laminate to make a ruler/bookmark for my planner. No milkiness to help me. I'm also on the mend from sick. So my brain power is not at full power yet.
Honestly, I thought of many of these. They were all great ideas. So thank you! I'm probably going to use the brads or tie some fibers on.

Making it it’s own page is an option too. Adding an embellishment on both sides is a great way to hid adhesive too. This works best on smaller layouts

That's a great idea! As I'm not generally a smaller format scrapper, having your experience & style thoughts is fantastic!
