BRILLIANT! I have a TON of eyelets and the Crop a Diles (both) that I have not used in ages. This makes me excited! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Wonderful! I love hearing that. Abandoned craft supplies make me sad! :) I want to #bringbackeyelets
All great ideas! Adding the string before the eyelet for the string closure, genius! In the past I have always tied a knot which can add too much bulk. I cannot believe it never occurred to me to add the string first! Thanks for your video!
I'm so glad I ran across this YT. I bought eyelets years ago to use on clothing. Now I do a lot of paper crafting. These will now add more dimensions to my crafty items. Thank you.
Newbie here. So excited to have found your channel. I was actually searching for "how to use EYELETS and found you. Thank you so much.
OOOH!!! LOVE the charms and also being reminded of some of the other ways that I USED To know but kinda forgot... Love this vid! Thank You!
Always been intimidated by eyelets until now. Thank you Lolly! Such a small thing to totally take projects to another level!
Wonderful tutorial. I’m learning so much from you. Thank you and have an awesome day 🦋
I have a cropadile and was disappointed with lack of instructions and don’t know how to properly use it! Appreciate any videos using it! Thank you!
I love eyelets and kind of stopped using them now I need to get them out again!!! Thanks for the fantastic ideas
You are so welcome! So glad. I had noticed that many groups and many craft manufacturers asked on Facebook, "What is one craft supply you regret buying?" At least 80% of the responses involved eyelets, and I ADORE eyelets, so I thought I'd help everyone fall in love and #bringbackeyelets
I bought eyelets a couple years ago and forgot why I bought them... now I can use them. Thanks.
Great tips for eyelets Lolly, tfs huge hugs x Julie 🇬🇧
You are so welcome. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. :)
Awesome content, so much valuable knowledge like little technical hints on top of cool ideas. So far, in every video I have learned something new that will improve my crafting skills overall.
Great to hear! Many thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Be blessed today!
Ohhhh how I love the lacing bod and tenis shoe one. Love all but loved it most.
I had to pause real quick to say that journal/planner page use is a-mazing to me!! 🤩🤯 I have TONS of eyelets AND a Crop-a-Dial, AND all the planner covers, dividers, bookmarks, etc… that could be used for this!! 👏🏻 I applaud you, ma’am! Lol
I have just received my Crop-a-Dile and thank you so much for the many different applications suggested. Brilliant ideas! Greetings from Bavaria/Germany! Elisa
I'm waiting for my Crop A Dile to come in the mail. So many ideas. Thank you !
Thank you!!!! Need to invest in a crop-a-dile for my paper crafting.. nervous about size of eyelets to slip, say, a gourd style safety pin to hang beads or charms on. You teach well and are pleasant to listen to.
Any eyelet will work with a gourd / garment pin. The pin is very slender and fits through all the eyelets
This is brilliant. It is so obvious when you show these ideas, but I never thought of anything beyond a tag……..!!!!!!! Thank you so much. You just opened up a whole world of ideas.
awesome! I was motivated to make the video, because I saw a Facebook post where someone asked what is one thing you regret buying, and the majority of the responses were "eyelets"
Well, you certainly changed that notion. Thanks again. ALL of your videos are terrific, but this one really did open up a whole world with a tool everyone thought was soooo limited…!!!
Great ideas! Especially liked the charms, edging, and eyelet instead of tiny attacher! Thank you!
So many great ideas! Yes I would appreciate you doing a tutorial. I just subscribed to your channel. Thanks
Awesome! Thank you! Welcome to my channel. Be sure to check out the videos I shared under this one: Crop-A-Dile Big Bite tutorial, and How to Set Perfect Eyelets.
LPZ: THANKS for all the fun & interesting information in your tutorial on eyelets! You are such a GOOD teacher & easy to follow :D
Plain simple instructions with demo and results... brilliant... thank you :)
Thank you for sharing your knowledge in a fun, no waffle way👍👍
My pleasure! Thanks so much for watching! I spend a lot of time editing out the wasted space on the videos :)
Lots of neat ideas that I hadn't thought of! I would love a vid on how to set an eyelet perfectly with the regular crop-a-dile hand held one. Mine almost always come out not quite right or one side is not squished enough and I can never remember which side of the setter thing to put in which side of the eyelet! I have to do a few practice ones first, always! Oh... they are good to use to hold down vellum if you don't want to glue it. I like to stamp on my vellum and then put it over something on my card or whatever, and then put eyelets in all 4 corners. Looks really cute.
@@LollyPalooza I did go to your blog and downloaded the PDF for using the regular crop a dile. I know it'll be super helpful and I'm going to practice setting eyelets and do it right - I think I've been using the crop a dile wrong to set them! The vellum idea I used many years ago when I first started scrapbooking and paper crafting... before I had a good glue to use.... and wanted to put vellum on a page without the glue showing. I wasn't even watching UA-cam then!
Thank you for some great eyelet ideas! One of my favorites is that paper clip for the bow. Love that!! And the double color page edging. This is not my idea, but it's something I thought you may like: I have seen section tabs decorated with the tiny eyelets and a charm through it. That's one of my favorites as well, used in a planner and travelers notebook.
Question: what do you do to cover the other side? Or do you not have to cover them? No matter how gentle I try to be, the back side of the eyelet always has sharp points. I can't seem to mash them or get them flat so I don't scratch myself. If it happens on the left side (for page reinforcement of a section divider) at least I'm not touching that but I have had it happen where the sharp bit scratches the paper next to it. I made my own recipe book, and I used eyelets for the covers and section dividers- that's where I'm having this trouble. It scratched my fingers up as I was attaching all the sections with twine, and I've noticed a couple sections where the eyelet backs scratch what they rest on.
I've used eyelets on actual tabs, too. Very fun. About the backs of eyelets -- I'll share in my "How to" video! :)
LOL, Sorry I missed this post when I posted :) I asked the same question! The quality of the eyelet must have one thing to do with it? I will be watching for your video on *how to* which I hope will fix this issue for those of us who keep getting cut! LOL
Eyelets were always one of my favorite trends that came along, I love the texture and look of them, I still have tons!
I love the 2 holes for ribbon or twine to accent the page! Such a fun idea Lolly. 💜
thank you so much! It's funny how sometimes a LITTLE easy something makes a huge impact on a project :)
Off subject but what beautiful hands this woman has
Yes! ‘creative thumbs’ as i call them, most artists have this style thumb,i think they’re beautiful too.
tutorial on how to use the eyelet perfectly, please
@@elizabethhundiak527 The settings are the same, but I am going to do a "how to set eyelets" video
Lolly Palooza - oh, great! Somehow the front looks OK, but the back is usually wonky. I must be doing something wrong because it feels like I need extra hands to get it right.
Sherry Woods I have found that crop a dile perfectly sets memory maker eyelets but some of the generic eyelets are stronger and fractionally different sized, metric probably as opposed to imperial and that makes a difference as tolerances are set for crop a diles. Cheaper thin eyelets set perfectly most times as long as you are careful
Now I have ideas to use up some of the stash from my early scrapbooking days!
Oh, these were such great ideas! Thank you for sharing! I had forgotten about my eyelets!

I've also recently done another video -- how to set eyelets. That's also listed there now. Let me know if after watching both of them, I can still help in some way :)
These are some great ideas. I also have a thing for eyelets, and brads, and I'm always wanting to use them more. Thanks for all your great ideas.
This is by far one of my favorite videos that I have watched several times over. Genius ideas in which I will certainly implement some of the new ones that I have never used before.

Thank you! I have a whole large drawer with eyelets I used to use but haven’t recently. I will now as you helped bring fresh ideas if using them.

Thank you for showing me these ideas with the eyelets and the Crop a dial tool didn't know if it was something I would use or invest in but now having second thoughts tfs😊🇨🇦

I really liked 7 and 10, never thought to use them in such adorable simple ways! Tfs!
Love these all but #8 paper edging is my favourite, and thank you for sharing this. With all your good ideas I am pinching for use, I'll have to call my TN Lolly!
Great video! Yes, I’d love a video on setting my crop-o-dile correctly for perfect eyelets! I often get messy ones on the back.
the Crop-A-Dile Big Bite video is linked under this video -- click the little arrow thingy to see everything I wrote below the video. The tutorial for it is very close to the top :)
TFS, great tips on using Eyelet..I have so many, was looking to use them for Book closures, thanks again for great ideas
I have another list of uses started -- I felt that ten uses was plenty for one video :)
I love using eyelets as you did on the bow/paperclip, but I make small journals or paper pads ( not too thick, or only eyelet through the cover) bc I love adding the ribbon and it functions to keep it all together. Thanks for all the other great ideas!
I made a "pad" journal once, too -- been awhile. Well, it was before I started filming tutorials! :)
Really neat ideas! Love your creativity with all of these. Functional & pretty too! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing awesome tips now I know what to do in my eyelids have a blessed day stay safe know that God loves you
