I feel like the gun should be a S4 it feels a bit ridiculous to build a whole asymmetrical design around something that could easily have been strapped under the nose. Also feels a bit light compared to something like a titan which has the same cargo and like 1 S4 and 2 S3 if I'm right ?
I’d like to introduce you to every other non-Ares asymmetric ship in the game, lol. The MSR and the Corsair have no reason to be asymmetric, but they are.
Right there Fighters with Multiple size 3? Why only the 1? should be a size 4 if your only going to have 1. Now they have said that a Bespoke Size gun is better then a similar size non bespoke but still!!
Even so, it's not a titan competitor. Looking at all the stats, it's a cutter size competitor. Having 2k less HP but 4 more SCU, with slightly less DPS but a more comfortable interior.
I think the 315p is more a closer competitor to this and I would prefer the 315p over the Intrepid. The 315p can fit 3x 4 SCU containers while the Intrepid looks like it can support 2 SCU containers.
That size 3 has to be wrong, it looks like it's suppose to be a bespoke size 5 considering the size of the area around it. It's also the only gun so 1 size 5 would be fine compared to other starters.
Or at least a bespoke size 4. Even the Nomad has 3x the firepower and cargo of this ship. I think I'll be sticking with my Nomad unless this thing has something truly crazy like 12 SCU of fuel or something like that.
Perhaps it's a little size gun but it seems to be way more tanky than the other starter ? So less DPS but more survivability? (talking only visually). But yep, the place around the gun seems to be made for an S4, if not S5, it should have S4 at least if it's the unique weapon.
I think the space you're seeing is actually for the use of a gimble mount so that you get some degree of movement. Would honestly prefer a fixed S4 tho.
I mean, if you love the interior, then it's not forced design. The outside is asymmetrical to accommodate the layout of the interior, which makes the living space very comfortable.
Agree on the weird design, disagree on the 300 series. It's GREAT how high up the 300-series sits on its landing gear. It's also very good to have a ladder in case you open the door and see Kopions or any other fauna that might come (well if it's smallish of course, against an apex valakkar the ladder won't help). It also makes boarding way harder which is better for the occupant and idk.. I feel safe once I'm up there. It's just great. I don't mind it at all.
@@Godwinsnameyou feel safe after the ETERNITY it takes to get the ladder climb function to start THEN you wait for the animation to go, then you wait for it to end so you can move again. Ladders are garbage the way they are implemented right now. They are objectively bad.
I feel like the Asymetry on this ship is a little Forced .... the gun mount looks ridiculously huge next to a Tiny gun.... And its only 1 gun. Its big enough to have more guns..... Its gonna have to be a really good price to be competitive! :D
I agree the asymmetry is kind of forced for the outside perspective, since it's not a combat vessel what is it off center to fit for exactly? It feels like someone wanted to make a Heavy-fighter sized Spirit and thought "hey, maybe in universe the Crusader manuefacturer thought it'd be easier to make if they used the Ares mold to keep production cheap" and that's what we're left with. However, who ever designed the floor layout given the asymmetry is a damn genius because I honestly was surprised it fit so much. I'll always hate the Crusader Cockpit Tunnels (and these ones feel extra claustrophobic) but behind that it feels so homely and wide I makes me impressed. I feel like it needs to be around or exactly at the Cutter/100i price point. It almost does nothing better than the Titan (afaik) besides the beautiful interior and while that may add to the price I really hope it stays under that. Make it the question of: do you take the "rugged utility, vehicle transportation and more health to give you leeway when learning to land" Cutter or do you swap more health for more cargo with the Intrepid? Maybe the Intrepid is faster but less fuel, idk?
@@jvit4245 You make a valid point. I agree. It really is a beautiful and well laid out interior! I`ve decided im going to be upgrading things around on my account so i just might grab one - if the PRICE is right
If it's a 45$ starter ship then I think a size 3 is fine, it has a huge living space and more cargo than the Cutter, and I assume it's faster as well. If that's the price point they're aiming for it makes sense. There would be no reason to get a Cutter or Pieces if it had good firepower as well. However if it's Avenger price I think it should get a tiny upgrade on the gun at least.
$45 would be crazy. Just looking at all the extras on the inside, and comparing to the mustangs, 100i, and Auroras, this “starter” ship is really pushing the limits of what I’d call a starter.
@@VarkasVarna 100% if it’s to compete with a cutter/ c8, even a 100i, it’s great. If it’s to compete with anything above, it will miss. Not because of the firepower, but because it’s a cutter rambler with more cargo, but less versatility with its cargo, not being able to carry a vehicle or mech suit
Yeah that's the thing; if it's closer in price to an Aurora. 👍 If they think it's going to compete with a Titan. ⚰️ The Titan matches it in cargo, but can actually carry a PTV. And has >3 times its firepower. The Intrepid only saving grace is probably it's faster and maybe more nimble? Which just means you'll be running away from everything. Not a bad thing for a starter, but at least a Titan gives you the option to fight.
A single S3? Only? Maaaaan. I was really hoping this would finally dethrone my Avenger Titan. This needed the single gun to either be a single S5 to match the Avenger dps (actually Avenger would still be a bit higher lol) or really bring something else to the table, which it doesn't seem to do sadly. **sigh** Looks like the Titan continues to live on as the best starter still.
It's not a Titan competitor. It's a Cutter competitor... A single S3 is comparable to the Cutter's two S2s... It has twice the cargo capacity and a much more functional interior.
@@milescole7415 Its still part of the starter packages, and if you look at both the aurora MR and the mustang A they still arent classified as starters, so it doesnt matter. Depending on the price point, this ship is pretty inferior to all the other starter packages.,\
@HardStankThe2nd Aurora ES is a starter pathfinder. Mustang Alpha Vindicator(same as standard alpha) is a starter light freight. Both have better armament but neither have 8scu of cargo or the internal eminities of the intrepid.
Avenger ships were the first military standard ships. They were built for combat. This is a new design for a less combat oriented owner. Lore is a thing and CIG is at least trying to work in the realm of the setting and it's lore.
Love everything aside from the armament. For only having one gun it really needs a S4 or at least a S3 with a capacitor so large you can practically fire continuously. And come on, they could have fit two more missiles onto it easily.
SC already released a ship with zero guns. The new Starter concept may have all the weight you want but is limited to have small guns and small cargo holds.
... the worst-looking ship in-game... should also feature its worst weapon. A team of first-graders could have outperformed Crusader Engineers on this design...
@@oOPrinzValiumOo Starter ships are meant to be jacks of all trades including combat. Even the nomad pickup truck has triple the firepower. So ya, it definitely needs more. NOBODY but a fanboy would buy this over an Avenger lol
Not loving the flatness, assimetry and excessive protusion of the cockpit, plus, having the single side mounter gun ala Ares for a S3 is a poor joke at best. The rest of the ship and the interior are awesome though and would make me consider this ship all by itself. They need to at least up that weapon to a bespoke S4 in my opinion.
@@gabzsy4924 I like the quirkiness to it. And it’s not my combat ship so I can get over the dps. But I am used to using my cargo area for a vehicle or a mech suit. It sucks cuz I actually really like this ship
@@asog88 it looks like a LEGO toy and is pretty bad at everything with the only upside of having a nice interior. I'll probably wait for another starter that has the nice interior but also decent at something. The Avenger Titan is still uncontested, but it's quite old and dated unfortunately.
Thank you for the quick preview! My thoughts on the ship: - Overall a nice Designs - For my Taste, the wings could be a bit flatter and the engines a bit bigger - The weapon could be a S4 so that it would be more at the height of the cockpit - I don't mind it only has one gun, could have a bigger capacitor thow - The Sound is very nice and the handling seems very good First impression: Seems like a good starter or a great runabout for bigger ships/bases The music at the beginning is much better, very captivating in connection with the pictures
I don't like most of the design, I wish some of the angles felt a bit more aerodynamic... but I'm glad you and others like it! Maybe it'll grow on me. Though it has only single s1 components, it does at least have a good amount of structural HP, (nearly 4x the 100i) At first I was like "The whole cockpit is offset just to fit ONE size 3 gun on the side?", but no, I think the main reason is for the interior for the rooms off to one side of the main corridor. Still weird to have such a big feature for what amounts to nearly the weakest weapon config on any ship. (except the C8 non-x, Hull A, and Aurora ES), a bump to size 4 might make it feel a bit less silly.
I think asymmetry really needs to be justified and tbh a s3 doesn’t really seem to do the job. I think it would have been cool to see the weapon elsewhere and maybe see something else in its place like a comms array or even a tractor beam? Otherwise it’s a pretty solid ship
My first impression is that the asymmetry doesn't look great on a ship built by Crusader, where their design language seems to be more utopian and idealistic. I do really like the interior space, very star wars and kind of retro futuristic with the couch and desk. I also like the novel cargo space and the booster sounds. I hope the mirror system is a placeholder. I do really like the exterior shape of the cockpit and the flat uninterrupted surface on the top of the ship, super Tomorrowland-esque.
This has been an eagerly awaited ship for me, but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. I love the idea of asymmetry, but the way it's done here looks...odd. The back of the ship is too wide and blocky with the way the VTOL thrusters sit on top of the hull, and the cockpit and the gun are too far apart giving it a strange gaptoothed appearance. I think it would look significantly better if the cockpit and gun mount were flush with each other. The components are very disappointing. That gun mount just screams an Ares reference, but to have it housing an S3 gun is very underwhelming. With a single S3 mount, it has less DPS than any other starter, including the Auroras. The 2 S1 missiles are equally minimal. The cargo lifts are neat, but they are very limited. Hopefully we can get a Pulse on them. Overall they're less versatile than a single 8 SCU grid like the Titan's, because they can't accept 4 SCU crates like the Titan can nor can the Intrepid carry vehicles like the Titan or the Cutter can. It has an absolutely wonderful interior, though, and it flies nicely. I will give it that. But, overall, it seems very lacking for a starter and the exterior isn't what I'd hoped for based on the leaked sketch of it.
If that was a size 5 gun, I would buy one. I wonder why it was installed upside-down? Artist could at least flip the logo. The Titan has the same cargo, and is survivable. This is a much larger target, and far too under-gunned, in my opinion.
I really like this ship but only a size 3 gun is just so rough when you compare it to other starter ships. I hope they up it so it can keep up with the others.
The Cutter only has a pair of S2s, which in raw DPS is comparable to the Intrepids single S3. The S3 will have more range and penetrating power when those actually matter so it'll actually outgun the Cutter along with having twice the cargo and a much more functional interior..
Yes and if this ship is the price of a cutter then i concede that point but I am guessing it will be $70 plus which means I am looking at it more in comparison to the Titan and Nomad.
Also the drop down cargo is what they should have done on the MSR instead of that wasted space used for gameplay that will never exist. That whole hidden area was a good idea at the time but now I feel it's not practical for the MSR. They could have make the entire underside of the MSR with drop down cargo and a couple of hidden areas that can host 8-12 SCU of hidden cargo compartments.
Ares gets a S7. I think it would be fair to give intrepid a single s5 weapon, which still puts its DPS behind Talon, etc. And in a slower cockpit and smaller weapon capacitor. 1 S4 weapon would still be really underpowered and nobody would use this ship past their starting hours. Fighters with a single hardpoint larger than normally fit on its ship class can be Crusader's thing, and I think making the weapon S5 absolutely fits.
The Ares is a dedicated fighter. This is a starter/ cargo/ camper van. 😆 I'll agree a size 3 is a little small, but a size 5 is too big. Out of the 4 Crusader cargo ships, the C1 is the one that's 'overgunned' with four pilot weapons.
@@Dracounguis Starter ships are supposed to be jacks of all trades - including combat. Even the Nomad - the "Pickup Truck" starter, has triple the firepower. Who would buy an Intrepid over an Avenger Titan? The answer - NOBODY who isn't just a super fan of the Intrepid's design and doesn't care what they get for their money. S4 isnt enough, it needs to be a S5 for this ship to make any sense, especially with the severe lack of missiles.
@wallacengineering8096 no and then you'll have people with Cutters saying "what about us?" It only has two S1s. Like I said somewhere, it all depends on how much this thing costs.
@@Dracounguis True, Price matters a lot in this case. Unfortunately, because of its size and ability to haul 8 SCU and its super nice interior, Im sure its going to match the price of the Avenger and 325A. The trend with ship pricing has been upwards for many years now.
Not sure I'm impressed over a single S3 gun mount and 2 cargo elevators in place for a trunk to stow ground vehicles if you so wish to. I'm paying for Doors-on-doors-on-door with this ship A Titan also holds 8 SCU but has the entire back section for easy offloading and enough space for a PTV. If it costs less than a Titan, sure, maybe. But if this thing goes for more due to Novelty tax, then this thing should only be bought with in-game money, or melted after having your week of fun with this toy
Thank god there are more people who like it. I was scrolling through twitch and first video I found was 1 streamer just insulting this ship for half an hour straight. Not gonna say the name, but the streamer asked if anyone would like it and 1/3 said yes and the streamer was like “wtf guys“ and then kept on insulting like… Srsly, why are haters so negative about this ship? I hate Drake, I understand why ppl like it, it’s personal taste, the end.
It looks great, but it should be better in some areas and worse in others from the other starters...it seems it's just worse in every way, which is silly. Unless I'm mistaken. Does it have more cargo or something?
multiple factors to reason why someone may hate on it... 1 would be that it feels like a money grab ship that is useless.. other fact will be that there are many people waiting on a backlog of concept ships that they could be focussing on. I love crusader ships and the only thing i like about this ship is the little storage bays, other than that nope.
I love crusader ships, but because they are aerodynamic and angular. This one does seem a bit more chunky. Also, that size 3 does not look good enough for being a central point of focus for the ship. Honestly, I think it should be a size 5.
This ship has a blend of good & negative aspects. So for me, it'll depend on its price. CIG definitely reinforced that their staff designing Crusader ships are obsessed with Jim Morrison by their enthusiasm for having Doors everywhere.
The design in this ship is actually great if doors are used. From the entry point you only have to go through one door to access any of the rooms. Definitly not the same situation with the MSR, where you have to go through too many doors from entry point to the cockpit
@@Haegemon It's also immersive, which is important for a lot of people. And I would also had that the doors should have a setting for automated opening on proximity. I won't be made to believe that in 2954 people forgot how to instal a simple proximity sensor on a door, something we have in the 21st century
Im a bit torn. I want to love it, and I love that it feels very full featured but going by the concept art they downsized the gun. In which case i feel like they should have moved the cockpit and/or the gun closer to the centre line. The current design makes it very obvious it was designed around a larger gun. The rear and overall profile look amazing though. Im still tempted to upgrade to it though
I know its almost objectively ugly, but I absolute adore this ship. It's just so quirky and funky. Truly unique. The cargo is unique, the interior is wonderfully designed. And I personally love the asymmetrical look and the crusader aesthetic in general. I'm absolutely picking this one up. I guess if I had to pick one part about the design itself that I dont like, I guess I'd say the cockpit seems a bit long. Making it a bit shorter and stockier might lend to the 'chunky asymmetry' thing its got going on, a bit like the MSR. But honestly, thats a bit of a nitpick, I like the longer cockpit as well- adds to that aforementioned quirkiness that I like. I've seen some people say they'd love it if it was symmetrical, and even saw a photoshopped mock up of it if it were symmetrical. And it did look nice, but it also was basically just a smaller Spirit. Which, to me at least, is a bit boring and uninspired. The only real complaint I have (as others have said) is the gun. It's almost hilariously under powered Like if we were to classify this with a role, what would it even be? It's not a fighter, or a hauler, or an expedition. It's not particularly fast or maneuverable from what I've seen, at least compared to some other ships of its class. It's just kind of a deluxe camper van I guess? Seems a bit homeless in that regard. So, again as others have said, I think sizing that gun up to a s4 would be a nice move. It would give it a unique spin on a starter ship, a starter with the biggest gun. And turn it into a scrappy little campervan. I'd also be okay with the s3 if they added another two s1 guns though, or one more s2, or maybe even gave it a bunch of missiles or something. It just needs a little more to define its niche. Also interested in what kind of variants this one will have, if any.
I was really excited about this ship. I was hoping to replace my Avenger Titan with this, but the Avenger beats it in basically every single way IMO, one size 3 is just ridiculous, but maybe I'm being too harsh comparing it to one of the best light fighters.🤣
Love what they did with the interior as far as living spaces. I also really like the entrance, just like the 100 series. 300 series, take notes. Other than that, I feel this ship has too many negatives for me. I don't like the cargo setup, how it's divided and how they gave it access from the interior. I feel they unnecessarily complicated it to set it apart. I would have much rather had a rear ramp with a standard cargo grid. Even a small ramp offset to one side would have been better. The whole offset gun idea is cool, but not when they move everything around for a pea shooter. Center the cockpit and mount that little guy to the chin. Doesn't the C1 have 2 size 3's on the chin? If given the choice between this and the Avenger Titan as it sits in the game currently, I feel this falls short. Better interior with a bathroom, and a better entrance do not compensate for its larger size, same cargo capacity, less firepower, and technically only one entrance as compared to the Titan.
I’m just flying around Hurston in an Intrepid right now and it’s a fast little ship. Cargo hold looks tricky as it’s like a 300 series cargo hold but the inside is comfy and nice and still manages to have 4 or 5 doors inside lol
@@EvenLease44 And it sounds like a WW2 plane when it dives too ! Its a great little ship and really shows how much better SC is putting out new ships. I look at my Glaive and then a new ship like the Intrepid and it really shows how far they have come.
I love the design personally and I'm super hyped for this ship BUT having ONE size 3 weapon is diabolical. Should be Size 5 imo to make up for the lack of weapons. A lot are saying Size 4 but I don't think that would make up for its lack of DPS, Missile and agility.
As a Crusader fan, I don't like this ship. There was no need for an offset weapon and one that is so undersized that it looks funny. The Ion and Inferno's offset weapon made sense as it is hauling around a Size 7 weapon. There's no reason why they couldn't have given this ship two nose weapons like the MSR and maybe a couple of wing mounted weapons. The only thing I like is the blue glow of the engines.
I wouldn't mind the asymmetric design if the cockpit was at least centered (keeping the gun and intake on the right) or if the gun was bigger. but with those 2 strikes for me i will let the price determine if i upgrade my mustang beta. I have other ships so the mustang is a quick claim ship i can use to retrieve my other ships at this point. it was my first SC ship back in 2.0 which is part of the reason i haven't upgraded it.
Knew absolutely nothing about this ship, so really enjoyed how informative this preview was. I can understand the excitement behind this ship now, pretty impressive starter
It's really nice, although can't help but feel that gun could go up to s4 and look like a better fit. The interior is great, but would've liked to see a couple windows/skylights. All in all, i'll probably grab one, it'll replace my cutter i think.
As someone who avoids combat at all cost, I don't mind the weak weapon setup. I like the asymmetric design and full interior, as well as the ability to put a Pulse in the cargo lift. Surprised at how quickly you were able to pump out a high quality video, good job. Subbed.
the way the interior is designed on this ship feels orders of magnitude superior to the c1 spirit. I always felt they messed up with how little interior space and how uninspiring it was on the c1 but oh my god is this so much better on a much smaller ship. ya know I might melt my c1 and get a more clunky cargo runner and this instead.
for such a large ship, the interior is so lacking on the spirit variants. as much as i love how it flies and i how much i love the cargo space, i hate actually being in the thing, being just a big tube. i just feel like they could've added rooms with a relatively small change to the size and shape of the ship. especially since they can fit them in a ship half the size. shorten the long pilot chair rail. and the wings are completely dead space, i get the c1 is already fast, but for how much room those engines take up... it should be much faster. i mean compared the MSR which has smaller engines and is much bigger and is... faster? just move them to the bottom or top of the wing (obviously still integrated but i can see it working) or maybe move them further out on the wing, it's not like it's really controllable in atmo on asymmetric thrust as is. i haven't flown my c1 in a while, and have almost exclusively been flying my 315p even when i'm doing cargo. i simply can't stand being in the c1. tbf, the cutlass has a similar issue, there's not a whole lot of enjoyment in there, but if they are going to make cheaper and smaller ships have more of an interior than bigger ones, especially from the same manufacturers, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. honestly if my c1 had the exact interior layout of the intrepid just attached to the cargo bay, i'd be thrilled. sorry for long rant it's late and i have nothing better to do.
Looks like a redesigned Anvil Hurricane with a C1 cockpit slapped on the front. Damn thing looks like Sloth from the Goonies!! The interior is big, it could have easily carried 16 SCU. We all know how those cargo lifts break, so good luck with that. Interior looks good although the exterior is fugly!
Avenger has an S3 gun plus one more S3 gun AND also an S4 gun !! and is faster, AND can carry a 4 SCU container. 300i same arguments and also comes with a bathroom and kitchen ! What does the Intrepid have that these other don't ? Buff the gun to S4 or I'm not buying it.
This ship has 8 SCU of cargo, very sleek design with higher stealth and a very nice living area. It’s definitely not a power creep ship, but another ship added to the list for you to choose from depending on what manufacturer you like.
A single size 3 canon while being larger than a titan? There was no reason to make this ship asymmetrical for a size 3 gun. This is design for the sake of design. Were you able to load a hoverbike into the 4scu storage? It might be a redeeming factor for me
So took her out, main gun is so underwhelming. Barely took out a Prospector low level Bounty. Interior is nice but she is not good enough to let my 300i go for her. 300i is faster, better armed and same cargo space. Maybe if the Intrepid gun was a s4 it could compete. Was hoping for a sweet courier ship below the MSR.
Not a fan of asymmetry for ships unless it’s an obvious functional necessity, not an obvious style choice. Kind of blocky looking for a crusader ship too. The whole reason the Ares is asymmetrical is because it has a really big gun for it’s size (even though they could have and should have just made it an underslung centrally mounted gun below the cockpit). This ship not only manages to look more blocky than the ares and MSR (crusader ships are supposed to be sleek), but it has a pretty average sized gun. What was the point of creating a wonky and blocky looking ship with a throne for what should be a big gun but isn’t? In my opinion, it is a design failure in both practical and aesthetic ways. Is the worst thing ever? No. Could have easily been a lot better though, and is wasted potential in my view. Wasted potential annoys me a bit. The C1 and C2 are great examples of what I think crusader design should be. Sleek, symmetrical, and generally logical in its basic form. It looks good and makes sense. This? This should be the example of how NOT to make crusader ships, at least on the outside. That’s my take anyway.
What a random little surprise. So glad they are allowing more options to entry for new players/explorers. Such a great little dingy! Totally gonna try one out myself.
You sound like a cool dad. Love hearing your motivations joy for the content. Anytime I get to play something with my son and enjoy it together, it’s like magic.
I do like the asymmetry but there is just something off about it. I think it's the cockpit being a little too boxy and the gun just slapped on the front. IMO if they were going to go this route with a single size 3 in the Ares like configuration they should have made it a bespoke (like the Ares) Kronig S4 and made it look more integrated. Or at least a bespoke size 3 that does more damage like most of the bespoke weapons out there. Interior is pretty cool although the cargo still sits pretty low and might be a pain to get under there. Overall, as a big Crusader fanboy, I'm a bit unimpressed TBH.
People don't seem to realize that the size 3 is meant to keep the price down. CIG adds the cost of all the components/items/etc. together to (mostly) determine the cost of ships. This should keep the cost actually in the "starter ship" category.
I love the Intrepid, it is, in essence, the Crusader equivalent to the Drake Cutter. It takes Crusader design of great range and speed to create a fantastic courier ship, with comfortable and useful living space, mated with not insignificant cargo capacity good enough for light box work. The anemic firepower further emphasizes that this is a runner, not a fighter.
This seems like the most functional and practical started ship; Excellent living quarters, plenty of storage, not too big, seems zippy. This is the perfect balance of comfort and capability.
I agree, has the cargo capacity of the Titan, the livability of the cutter, and a flight model and firepower somewhere between the two...although that gun should be an S4 imo
On one hand the interior is probably one of the best I've seen for a starter. But the outside and single S3 are just not it. Probably a must for pure hauler starters
Being honest, if the C1 and the Starfighter had a baby this would be the child that drops out of high-school. It lacks the cargo abilities of the C1 and the firepower of the Starfighter - even for a starter ship. The 315p has 12 SCU, the Avenger has 1 S4 and 2 S3. The Intreprid best feature is the beautiful residential area.
Looks fairly cool. I am NOT happy with Asymmetry. I REALLY think it's a bad way to go for Crusader designs and feels more Drake to me. I am very disappointed in the single size 3 gun. Even a single S4 would have been weak compared to ships like the Avenger, Nomad or the 300 series. And only what looks like 2 S2 missiles? Lame. Interior is very cool though.
I love the look and the inside. Very good space for living. The cargo space is ok. It might be ok to get cargo in and out, but you'll probably have problems to get a Pulse in. The one shield is ok given that physocalised damage is around the corner. But the one size 3 guns with such a small capacitor is a tough one. Not enough to fight and not scary enough to make people think twice attacking the intrepid. And those 2 size 1 firecracker are a joke. The space is big enough for something more substatial. 4 size 1 or 2 size 2. More if they are going to keep the size 3 gun. But it would gladly accept no missles if they upgun it to size 4 with a sizeable capacitor.
I like this as a starter, it has a lot of amenities that make it great for things other than space combat. Just depends on the price. Maybe we're overestimating it because of its large footprint, like how the Spirit and MSR are also larger than ships of the same class.
Many say the asymetrical design is forced, but I would disagree. I really don't think it's forced. With the cockpit being centered, you would not have that spacious seperate habitational area, because that sits right behind the gun. I really like that they found a way to cramp that much interior into that tiny package while also not forcing the player to sleep in the hallway. You could argue, the hallway could've bend to the right, to make the cockpit centered, but that would've maybe chipped away too much space from the living quarters. Over all I think the interior is the designer's peak performance. That kind efficiency I would've wished for the MSR. Exterior is very cool too. The visual emphasis on the gun though... that's very much misleading, because the ship looks like it should have more of a punch. I'm cool with it not being a fighter and having very little, but it looks like a fighter with that visually singled out peashooter. It irritates, because the expection you get from the shape does not fit its performance. Other than that, it's top notch.
It's an amazing interior but it feels like a found it on wish Ares on the outside. Should at least be a size 4 if they are gonna give it one gun or a bespoke size 3. Further judgeing of it will depend on what price points they stick on it.
I love it ! Something a little different is always welcome. Like asymmetrical designs, if you don’t like it - dont’ buy it, let’s face it most of them wouldn’t buy it anyway as it’s a starter and most have moved onto bigger things now.
Im not really a fan of the external asymmetrical look and side gun, but interior wise it's so great im considering seriously in getting one, spacious, great view, good cargo, can't wait to be able to fly one myself too.
My general feeling about this ship that it is BIG for a starter ship or at least feels like it. But it seems to be handling pretty sweet for its size. I think that they did a phenomenal job with the design of the ship. And having that side door with steps feels luxurious as you said. But I wish they had added a second entry point. Technically the garage/cargo bays can act like that. But this is a starter ship. It can't have everything and that is the point of a starter. The size of the gun should not be bigger for a starter. I mean, look at the Aurora having 2xS1 and 2xS2 and still have maybe 100DPS less then the Intrepid. I think this will be a good alternative for many players. And as always, great video end preview! Good job!
I was really looking forward to a Crusader starter ship, so I was both excited for and not very sold on the Intrepid even as I started watching. I still think it's not my favorite design. But as the video goes on, damn. Stair entry (this we knew from CitizenCon sneak peek), an actual living space, and the cargo holds are really interesting. Drop down cargo space on a small ship that's also accessible from the inside? Really nice. Things like size and obviously price are things I'll need to look more into, but I definitely see the potential for this to be _the_ starter ship that I've been waiting for.
thank you very much for the first preview of this crusader starter. been waiting months for more info. I'll get this beautiful little ship if it's not exorbitantly overpriced, rumor has it that it will cost around 90 dollars. The interior is beautiful, lots of space for such a small ship, toilet and kitchen is the layout used on the C1 spirit and others. 8 SCU is standard for a good starter. The accessibility is really great, but unfortunately you can't take more than a few pulses with you. 1xs3, many had hoped for at least a s4 or s5 weapon. maybe it is a s5 port and only a s3 weapon installed. as of now, the ship is under a cutter transport in terms of weaponry. Let's see if they also offer it as a starter package. all in all, it seems to be a solid starter ship. only the weapons... even a 100i has more oomph.
Looks fantastic. And very livable interior. But compared to the Titan, the cargo seems really awkward and the firepower too low. Might be worth buying in game for fun.
ngl i was super confused by the centre rear external detailing on the intrepid.. when i saw it i initially thought it was the same style rail system the RSI scorpion has for a turret that can change position, except there's no turret so wtf is all that detailing for? :/
The interior is awesome. You missed one great feature: it has 2.5 SCU of internal storage above the bed. The weapons are underwhelming. The cargo is annoying. Since it is split, no 4 SCU like the Titan can do. Because of those tight articulated arms for lowering it, putting boxes between them is very funky. You will see lots of damage on those elevator platforms! It all comes down to price. If it is cheap enough, say $55 or under, it can be justified. If it is $60 or more, stick with the Titan.
Unless things have changed on the official, the Titan isn't suppose to be a starter ship. The Intrepid is. I would say going from an Intrepid to a Titan would be a good linear progression for someone doing a little bit of everything jobs solo. What does concern me though is that the Mustang and the Aurora feel like wastes of space at this point.
I like symmetry; however, this is a really interesting design that is oddly captivating! I love the cargo area the most with the two cargo elevators. If we can fit a bike in there this could be a really cool courier ship. I love CIG's creativity with this one!
This depends on the cost of the Intrepid. If this comes in at the intro price of $45 or $55 with a game package, this is fine but I agree the gun should be a size or 2 larger if you only get 1. Same for the missiles. I think they should be 2 s3 or 4 s2. Its just out classed in every way by the Avenger Titan. The Mustang something or other has 8 SCU with a drop down cargo grid and comes with 2 size 2 weapons and 2 extra hardpoints for more firepower. Both of those ships are smaller and thus harder to hit as well. Looks great though. I hope that weapons rack makes its way to the Spirit.
It's like the Ares...but just...turning the poly-count WAYYYYY down. That S3 gun should've been a S4-5... Okay, I think I'm sold. My jaw DROPPED as soon as you showed how the cargo areas work, combined with the engineering area!
That tiny guns feels like a jab at how the Ion's gun feels nowadays lol. The back also looks wrong with those tiny thrusters and it seems almost too blocky like a lego. I might pick one up if only just to upgrade it later. Kinda disappointed.
I normally dislike asymmetrical ships, but the MSR and Ares were exceptions because Crusader makes nice ships. This ship reminds me of a fighter ship in Homeworld or a Crow from EvE Online. It's cute but you will have to love it for its style to want to buy it. My Cutter or Aurora would eat this thing alive but those are stat tweaks easily fixed. If the price is right with LTI I might buy one for my collection. It fits in the Polaris with room left for a Fury or two.
Nearly a very decent new ship. Too underpowered for me, and imo the cockpit being off like that looks dopey Is there a way to find out which ship teams designed which ship? Ie was it Manchester, Montreal etc
I won't lie, this would be my choice for a starter ship. It looks amazing, sounds amazing, feels good, has cargo, sure the gun is smaller than people would like but that's really not the point of a starter ship, is it? I think most starter ships haven't really seen their day in the sun because 1.0 isn't here. When the game launches and the world gets to log in for the first time, having NO resources minus a pledge ship (this guy), they're going to be laughing at the quality of life compared to the rest of the other starters. Great design, great placement for it's class.
Starters have come a long way since I went down the rabbit hole. Back then there was the Aurora and the Mustang and that's about it. The intrepid is such a sophisticated starter it makes me wonder what price point its going to come in at. If it's too pricey new players might be better off skipping it and going straight for something like a Titan for the extra fire power. .. Crusader ships have the best engine sounds imo. They sound powerful.
I saw this video show up on my phone notification and I could not hit play fast enough. GREAT showcase!! I hope they make several variants for this ship like all the other starter ships. Maybe make one with upsize hardpoint and more combat focus. Thanks for the video.
It needs a Second Shield Generator, the Big Cannon Size 4 and add a Twin Size 2 beneath the Ship like the Spirit has a Twin Size 3 Turret. (Would be DPS on 300i/Nomad level, but 300i is still faster and Nomad has still more Shield and Cargo)
I feel like the gun should be a S4 it feels a bit ridiculous to build a whole asymmetrical design around something that could easily have been strapped under the nose. Also feels a bit light compared to something like a titan which has the same cargo and like 1 S4 and 2 S3 if I'm right ?
The original teaser was made in the IAE expo Hall and there were 2 next to each other. So I'm hoping it's a multivariant ship
Matter of fact, it should be S5. That would be fair given the Titan’s firepower
I’d like to introduce you to every other non-Ares asymmetric ship in the game, lol. The MSR and the Corsair have no reason to be asymmetric, but they are.
@@drksideofthewal size5 with that speed would be totally OP
Right there Fighters with Multiple size 3? Why only the 1? should be a size 4 if your only going to have 1. Now they have said that a Bespoke Size gun is better then a similar size non bespoke but still!!
I think 1 S4 would’ve been fine, considering the Titan has 1 S4 and 2 S3
YEP
Even so, it's not a titan competitor. Looking at all the stats, it's a cutter size competitor. Having 2k less HP but 4 more SCU, with slightly less DPS but a more comfortable interior.
and the 300I seem be better in all point, not juste the Titan, I did'nt checked for the suylen but I think the Suylen better to
@ stats won’t matter if this ship costs as much as a Titan or Nomad. If it’s 45 bucks then I could see it
I think the 315p is more a closer competitor to this and I would prefer the 315p over the Intrepid.
You would think the gun would be a little bigger but it’s really not bad.
@Observer_Custos I love my Nomad but visually this talks to me... if it had space for a ROC, or that 4-5 gun, I would really be torn.
Not a fan of forced asymmetrical designs. But I love the interior and stairs entry. The Origin 300 series needs something like this, not a ladder.
Oh hey, enjoy your KSP stuff
I mean, if you love the interior, then it's not forced design. The outside is asymmetrical to accommodate the layout of the interior, which makes the living space very comfortable.
@@craftedteens You could do a symmetrical exterior and asymmetrical interior. Best of both worlds for me.
I would like the designer ie the guy who first drew this on paper to provide an inverse explanation.
I`ve decided im going to be upgrading things around on my account so i just might grab one - if the PRICE is right
It's a classic CIG "styleguide before function" design.
really should be a single S4 gun, if it had to be a single gun.
Exactly
S4 is too underpowered, make it S5
Depends on the price. If it's an Aurora/Mustang type of starter than I think its fine.
@@whoisj I don’t care about dps, but it would look sweeter.
@@TPWR1337 Mustang out DPS's it though.
However if it's Avenger price I think it should get a tiny upgrade on the gun at least.
expect more 65 to 85
$45 would be crazy.
@@SpartanusCXVII But... A BIG target, with: One shield, One cooler, One s3 gun, and only Two missiles..?
Yeah that's the thing; if it's closer in price to an Aurora. 👍 If they think it's going to compete with a Titan. ⚰️ The Titan matches it in cargo, but can actually carry a PTV. And has >3 times its firepower. The Intrepid only saving grace is probably it's faster and maybe more nimble? Which just means you'll be running away from everything. Not a bad thing for a starter, but at least a Titan gives you the option to fight.
Glad it still has cargo access from outside. Though given it has just one gun its size should be like a size 5 or at the very least a size 4.
its a starter ship bro the cutter has 2 size 1 guns for example
Its competition, the avenger titan, has the same cargo capacity and one size 4 and two size 3 guns
@mateoemanuel3517 Avenger Titan has a size 4 and two size 3s so? This is why is should be a size 4 at minimum.
The lack of firepower is definitely a turnoff.
That or it should have a huuuge capacitor for being one gun
A single S3? Only? Maaaaan. I was really hoping this would finally dethrone my Avenger Titan. This needed the single gun to either be a single S5 to match the Avenger dps (actually Avenger would still be a bit higher lol) or really bring something else to the table, which it doesn't seem to do sadly. **sigh** Looks like the Titan continues to live on as the best starter still.
It's not a Titan competitor. It's a Cutter competitor...
A single S3 is comparable to the Cutter's two S2s... It has twice the cargo capacity and a much more functional interior.
@Gofr5 Common misconception, but the Titan isn't a starter ship.
That size 3 should have been a size 5.
That would have been cool!
Ya 1 size 5 would of been cool and it looks like it might fit?
That would be cool for a combat/bounty based version with reduced cargo space
At least a 4 like the Titan has with 8scu
It's competing against the Cutter. Why does it need an S5?
Love everything aside from the armament. For only having one gun it really needs a S4 or at least a S3 with a capacitor so large you can practically fire continuously. And come on, they could have fit two more missiles onto it easily.
This ship cries out for more missiles... six, at least, and there is plenty of room for them.
A single S3? Soo this is the 1st ship in SC history to punch *below* its weight class
The 400i is famously undergunned as well.
SC already released a ship with zero guns. The new Starter concept may have all the weight you want but is limited to have small guns and small cargo holds.
... the worst-looking ship in-game... should also feature its worst weapon. A team of first-graders could have outperformed Crusader Engineers on this design...
@@ElCrims Yes and no in my opinion. Not every ship has to have fighter like firepower

Thank you for the quick preview!
My thoughts on the ship:
- Overall a nice Designs
- For my Taste, the wings could be a bit flatter and the engines a bit bigger
- The weapon could be a S4 so that it would be more at the height of the cockpit
- I don't mind it only has one gun, could have a bigger capacitor thow
- The Sound is very nice and the handling seems very good
First impression: Seems like a good starter or a great runabout for bigger ships/bases
The music at the beginning is much better, very captivating in connection with the pictures
Thanks Seeras! I like your points!
Capacitors are capped. 15 rounds for cannons, 75 for repeaters.
The little tiny thrusters on the rear are supposed to be the MAIN thrusters? Why so tiny, and so plain looking?
@@zantrag Have you looked at an MSR or C2?
I don't like most of the design, I wish some of the angles felt a bit more aerodynamic... but I'm glad you and others like it! Maybe it'll grow on me.
Though it has only single s1 components, it does at least have a good amount of structural HP, (nearly 4x the 100i)
At first I was like "The whole cockpit is offset just to fit ONE size 3 gun on the side?", but no, I think the main reason is for the interior for the rooms off to one side of the main corridor. Still weird to have such a big feature for what amounts to nearly the weakest weapon config on any ship. (except the C8 non-x, Hull A, and Aurora ES), a bump to size 4 might make it feel a bit less silly.
I’m happy this is the first video I’ve seen on this ship
The Crusader ships are faster. This is a ship to flee from over-gunned foes.
@@HaegemonTitan is faster, has over x3 firepower while having similar cargo
@@Haegemon
the 300i is even faster, has better guns and same cargo.
@@Haegemon Nope... If the current flight model holds, it is not fast at all. Another flying coffin.
I threw up my mouth a bit when you said it was a phenomenal looking ship
Unless it's not a combat ship.
@@Dracounguis Starter ships are supposed to be jacks of all trades - including combat. Even the Nomad - the "Pickup Truck" starter, has triple the firepower. S4 isnt enough, it needs to be a S5 for this ship to make any sense, especially with the severe lack of missiles.
@wallacengineering8096 no and then you'll have people with Cutters saying "what about us?" It only has two S1s.

I'm paying for Doors-on-doors-on-door with this ship
A Titan also holds 8 SCU but has the entire back section for easy offloading and enough space for a PTV.
Not gonna say the name, but the streamer asked if anyone would like it and 1/3 said yes and the streamer was like “wtf guys“ and then kept on insulting like…
Srsly, why are haters so negative about this ship? I hate Drake, I understand why ppl like it, it’s personal taste, the end.
I think it’s awesome. Doesn’t instantly release as a power creep and the weird look feels great, a nice change for once!
Some people just hate asymmetry. I don't, I think it is easily one of the coolest looking ships yet.
It looks great, but it should be better in some areas and worse in others from the other starters...it seems it's just worse in every way, which is silly. Unless I'm mistaken. Does it have more cargo or something?
Why are you depending on what people think about the ship?
multiple factors to reason why someone may hate on it...
Jim Morrison called. He wants the MSR back for a rewrite.
@@smoothawee Doors are good if you want to make the life of intruders a nightmare. As long as these don't open if you don't want to.
@@Haegemon It's also immersive, which is important for a lot of people. And I would also had that the doors should have a setting for automated opening on proximity. I won't be made to believe that in 2954 people forgot how to instal a simple proximity sensor on a door, something we have in the 21st century
Look yeah. I may be the crusader industries fan... But that gun REALLY needs to be bigger if they're gonna force asymmetry
I love the interior so much. The exterior is just cool that it’s different.
@EvenLease44 Yeah it has a lot of character and feels fresh. Just a fun design overall. Pretty big for a starter as well
I disagree with EvenLease. The ship looks remarkably bad. Don't waste your money
It's almost hilariously under powered
Like if we were to classify this with a role, what would it even be?
That was as fast as allways happy to see content so fast for it
I was really excited about this ship. I was hoping to replace my Avenger Titan with this, but the Avenger beats it in basically every single way IMO, one size 3 is just ridiculous, but maybe I'm being too harsh comparing it to one of the best light fighters.🤣
Besides holding a vehicle the titan's interior is absolutely worse than the intrepids.
The cargo can be accessed from the inside which is amazing. Love that.
How to tell it's Crusader without telling anyone it's Crusader. If I were them I'd play The Doors every time I'd introduce a new ship.
@@EvenLease44 And it sounds like a WW2 plane when it dives too ! Its a great little ship and really shows how much better SC is putting out new ships. I look at my Glaive and then a new ship like the Intrepid and it really shows how far they have come.
damn this was fast and i love it! can't wait for the other ship reviews today! keep up the good work
Thank you!
I love the design personally and I'm super hyped for this ship BUT having ONE size 3 weapon is diabolical. Should be Size 5 imo to make up for the lack of weapons. A lot are saying Size 4 but I don't think that would make up for its lack of DPS, Missile and agility.
wow another ship with stairs! Despite i don't like asymmetric design, i like the stairs
Loving the stairs!
exactly, it's why I have the defender and 100i, easy in/out, great for a run-about
@@vheypreexa and stairs just make the entrance feel more prestigious. I truely wish luxury ship like 600i/890 can also get stairs
Agreed.
As someone who avoids combat at all cost, I don't mind the weak weapon setup. I like the asymmetric design and full interior, as well as the ability to put a Pulse in the cargo lift.
Surprised at how quickly you were able to pump out a high quality video, good job. Subbed.
damn looks amazing, like the interior, since fire power is very low, i'm hoping speed and maneuverability makes up for it
Top SCM of 227 with nav at 1225 right now. Not bad at all. Its EM is really low too.
I think this would have been better if it had been made with a centred cockpit, and then there could have been a gun on each side.
the way the interior is designed on this ship feels orders of magnitude superior to the c1 spirit. I always felt they messed up with how little interior space and how uninspiring it was on the c1 but oh my god is this so much better on a much smaller ship. ya know I might melt my c1 and get a more clunky cargo runner and this instead.
The Spirit coundn't be different if it was intended to be the base of a tactical bomber and an airliner.
What? How is this designed better than the C1?
for how big the C1 it i was massively sad on how little interior space there was aka upgraded to the zeus
for such a large ship, the interior is so lacking on the spirit variants. as much as i love how it flies and i how much i love the cargo space, i hate actually being in the thing, being just a big tube.
i just feel like they could've added rooms with a relatively small change to the size and shape of the ship. especially since they can fit them in a ship half the size. shorten the long pilot chair rail. and the wings are completely dead space, i get the c1 is already fast, but for how much room those engines take up... it should be much faster. i mean compared the MSR which has smaller engines and is much bigger and is... faster? just move them to the bottom or top of the wing (obviously still integrated but i can see it working) or maybe move them further out on the wing, it's not like it's really controllable in atmo on asymmetric thrust as is. i haven't flown my c1 in a while, and have almost exclusively been flying my 315p even when i'm doing cargo. i simply can't stand being in the c1. tbf, the cutlass has a similar issue, there's not a whole lot of enjoyment in there, but if they are going to make cheaper and smaller ships have more of an interior than bigger ones, especially from the same manufacturers, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. honestly if my c1 had the exact interior layout of the intrepid just attached to the cargo bay, i'd be thrilled. sorry for long rant it's late and i have nothing better to do.
... the trash-fire that is the Intrepid should draw comparison to no-other ship. Whoever designed this... should be fired.
Below Avenger Titan speaking of raw performance but it looks nicer i guess. So the old penguin is still better bang for the buck.
By far. Unfortunately.
Considering we don't know how much this will cost that's hard to say. If it's $45 like a Cutter, that's $15 cheaper than a Titan.
Avenger looks waaaay better in my opinion, and so does the C2.
Overall look is silly to me, but I do like the internals, has a homey feel. I do really like the 2 cargo elevators, could be handy.
Absolutely! I like it haha but I get that, it’s strange for sure
Ooh love how it sounds
Avenger has an S3 gun plus one more S3 gun AND also an S4 gun !! and is faster, AND can carry a 4 SCU container.
300i same arguments and also comes with a bathroom and kitchen !
What does the Intrepid have that these other don't ?
Buff the gun to S4 or I'm not buying it.
This ship has 8 SCU of cargo, very sleek design with higher stealth and a very nice living area. It’s definitely not a power creep ship, but another ship added to the list for you to choose from depending on what manufacturer you like.
titan holds 8scu actually
@@nerfherder48 yes, and ?
The Intrepid isn't competing against the Titan. It's competing against the Cutter and other $45 starter ships, not the $60 Titan..
@wun1gee it's as big as a Nomad
I am throughly impressed with the speed at which you got this review out. Just goes to show you are a serious content creator
Absolutely serious! Love doing this. Medical terrapin video is next :)
@EvenLease44 can't wait!
A single size 3 canon while being larger than a titan? There was no reason to make this ship asymmetrical for a size 3 gun. This is design for the sake of design.
Were you able to load a hoverbike into the 4scu storage? It might be a redeeming factor for me
The pulse fits in pretty much everything, itll easily fit in there, and I could see an X1 maybe squeezing in
@@kyoko4651 I am more worried about the ship clearance. They might not fit under the ship
@@thediadect8914 can always use a tractor beam, dont neccisarily have to ride it in
So took her out, main gun is so underwhelming.
It's like a C1 had a baby with the MSR.
Not C1...more like a 315 with those stairs and cargo style.
Just saw the pics on Reddit showing the exterior only and hated it, but that interior is fantastic.
The gun needs to be a S4
They should have centered the cockpit and added a second gun.
actually stunned at the engine boost sound, it sounds so much like the elite dangerous boost sound. can see this being a hit for the nostalgia
You sound like a cool dad. Love hearing your motivations joy for the content. Anytime I get to play something with my son and enjoy it together, it’s like magic.
I try to be the best for him, he loves the videos! It really is like magic!
If you can get past the ugly ahh exterior design then yeah
In all of that Crusader fat body design of wasted spaces.....they gave it a small pew pew and only...ONLY two size 1 missiles? Friggin ridiculous.
It's an amazing interior but it feels like a found it on wish Ares on the outside. Should at least be a size 4 if they are gonna give it one gun or a bespoke size 3. Further judgeing of it will depend on what price points they stick on it.
This grew on me in less than 5 min, holy I’ll definitely be getting yet another ship to add to the fleet. Fantastic review as always brother!
(ik not technically a review but still, a fantastic video as always)
Agreed!!! This is my new daily when I’m not flying other ships.
ngl i was super confused by the centre rear external detailing on the intrepid.. when i saw it i initially thought it was the same style rail system the RSI scorpion has for a turret that can change position, except there's no turret so wtf is all that detailing for?
The interior is nice. The gun is a joke. If it's priced _anywhere_ near the Avenger Titan it's a complete failure. The ROC DS levels of failure.
Just watched the newest Inside Star Citizen and our boy got a direct shout out from Jared! Congrats, EvenLease!
@@LoneStarr240 thank you so much!
Agree 100%
I normally dislike asymmetrical ships, but the MSR and Ares were exceptions because Crusader makes nice ships. This ship reminds me of a fighter ship in Homeworld or a Crow from EvE Online. It's cute but you will have to love it for its style to want to buy it. My Cutter or Aurora would eat this thing alive but those are stat tweaks easily fixed. If the price is right with LTI I might buy one for my collection. It fits in the Polaris with room left for a Fury or two.
Nearly a very decent new ship.
Too underpowered for me, and imo the cockpit being off like that looks dopey
Is there a way to find out which ship teams designed which ship? Ie was it Manchester, Montreal etc
I'm disappointed that it is not a S4 gun, like the Titan has. That being said, it looks awesome and I will be picking one up for my runabout.
Phenominal? It looks like a Clown Car! Holy Boop!
The S3 is fine. It's essentially comparable firepower to a Cutter with twice the cargo capacity and a much more functional interior..
I saw this video show up on my phone notification and I could not hit play fast enough. GREAT showcase!! I hope they make several variants for this ship like all the other starter ships. Maybe make one with upsize hardpoint and more combat focus. Thanks for the video.
I'm fine with it only being one Size 3 Gun. Because the Intrepid is more meant to be a Flying Full-Featured Habitation Unit with some Cargo.
Liking the interior of the ship, especially kitchen & table with couch. Looks cozy. Any thoughts about how much price is going to be?
It needs a Second Shield Generator, the Big Cannon Size 4 and add a Twin Size 2 beneath the Ship like the Spirit has a Twin Size 3 Turret. (Would be DPS on 300i/Nomad level, but 300i is still faster and Nomad has still more Shield and Cargo)
