Whatever the highest guard I use in the side, wheatjer it’s a 2 or a 1.5. I will come straight up. You essentially want to create a square both of the sides and then across the top. You always want to keep men’s haircuts square looking not round. The more round of haircut is gives it a more feminine look so you always wanna keep it square straight up on the sides.

Nice cut is that the only time you use the corners of the blade when detailing and taking out dark areas
