I’m not completely sure about this, but I think heartwood causes hunters to count as battleline. It might be stated on the hunters rather than the glade (for whatever reason) but I can’t confirm since I haven’t bought the new content

Yes, heartwood makes Kurnoth hunters battleline, and Oakenbrow makes Treelords battleline

One thing you didnt mention is the battle line changes some of the subfactions get, otherwise great video, im thinking im gonna go heartwood so i can get my kurnoth battle line, with the season of harvest

So does this mean that the previous bonuses from subfactions are no longer applicable and are replaced by a single army wide ability ?

Yes, pretty much everything from the old book or the old rules is no longer applicable, you can pick one season and one subfaction for your army.

i think reaping is trash for dreadwood because explosive hits effect will not work on Revenants

I know this is from a year ago but as someone starting to build a dreadwood list, wanted to clarify that they do work, just not how you might expect - you get the 1 MW and then the additional hit, but it doesn't turn into a second MW, you roll wounds for it like normal
