The keys with the longer key heads are the bottom row, and the keys with the shorter key heads are the top row. Generally, the larger keys are nearest the tuning head and the smaller keys are nearer the wheel. If you use the link in the description to the Thingiverse files, you can find a picture of the two key rows in order. That might help a little.

What did you use on the wheel to make it sound smooth?
I used a utility knife/razor blade. You can see it in the Part 4 video.
What thickness would do you use to make the instrument?
Most parts are cut from 3 mm birch plywood with a few cut from 6mm birch plywood.
