Clean wax off candle sticks or a menorah in 10 seconds

This video is about how to clean a menorah (hanukkia) with boiling water. Works for candle sticks too! UPDATE: to protect the drain if you are doing this more than once or with a large amount of wax (not recommended- take off as much as you can with your fingers first), place a double-ply paper towel over the drain and then pour the hot water over the menorah right on top. This worked for me to catch all of the wax coming off. Alternatively, you can do it over newspaper either in the sink or in the yard (thanks for the idea, folks!)
