However despite his best attempt, the 2 broke out and dealt the Decepticons a heavy blow and were able able to return to Autobot lines. Rack n Ruin continue to fight for the Autobots and poses a greater hate for Decepticons than before. Personality wise, both are ruthless in battle, they dont muck around with Cons. You should do the basics on the mercenary faction along with age of extinction lock down and maybe the deceptions in robots in descise and any bots that bounty hunt.
The evil counter part double crosser I think is based off from a Battle Master from the War For Cybertron Earthrise Crossguard. Another excellent video man I love watching all your videos. Can’t wait for the next one. Mirage still needs a basics video.
Quick question about Doublecrosser, did his appearance in Cyberverse inspire his Earthrise toy(battle master that turned into a shield), or was it the toy that inspired the appearance in the show? I'm just asking because I didn't know he appeared in the show.
@@ChrisMcFeely Yes, and I have it. They're a shield and a Decepticon rather than a member of the Mercenary faction featured in the trilogy and the Cyberverse cartoon.
I know this is gonna sound dumb, but they sort of remind me of the Rutile Twins from Steven Universe. (I have a feeling that The Transformers inspired the creation of Steven Universe.)
I'm just going to say it, if Hasbro is looking for characters to include in their next show as lead Autobots and Decepticons outside the usual picks like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Starscream, the Obscure Characters playlist gives them plenty of unique options to bring into the spotlight.
They should make them a triple changer. If rack is in charge they become a plane. If ruin is in charge they become a tank. Cuz we need more autobot tanks. In plane move one steers one is an under mounted turret. Same thing with tank mode, one steers one shoots the cannon.
If we ever see these guys again, joined at the shoulder, I think it'd be interesting to give them some sort of dual cockpit airplane alt mode, like a modified or cybertronian twin mustang, as well as for each to have the ability to sort of transform into a large makeshift arm for the other. Of course, they'd be a larger figure, for having all these configurations, but then maybe they could separate to be the individual arms of a small combiner

He would be a part of my version of Titans Return (Headmasters) as a team player on the Autobot Wreckers team.
6:34 I like that this toy transformed because I mean they can’t have one transformer that doesn’t transform because how would they go anywhere without spotting (but I think it be cool they can transformed into a hybrid vehicle like a one transformed into a Jet the other transformed into a Tank)

Doesn't neet to transform, can be articulated like crazy, come with swappable hand / hammer / anvil attachments and removable helmets. Ditto Nightbird, TransMutate, "Autobot X" Spike, Quintessons, Ten, Krok, Garnak, etc. It baffles me that they're making transforming figures of characters that don't transform, and non-transforming figures of characters that DO transform. Dogs and cats, living together -- MASS HYSTERIA!!!
Very good video! Totally like Rack and Ruin!👍🙏😃
Thanks 🙏I really like the story of Rack & Ruin!
Thanks for your comment!

Another great video as always! I've never heard of these characters before. I definitely prefer their IDW origin. But I definitely like their cyberverse design better than the others.
Awesome video! In my head cannon, the third triplet was named Wreck.
I absolutely love any coverage of the Marvel UK original characters. I lived in England from August 1985 to August 1987 and loved how they supplemented the American comic.
You should do the basics on the mercenary faction along with age of extinction lock down and maybe the deceptions in robots in descise and any bots that bounty hunt.
Wait, star saber was on the list of wrecker? That's neat as fuck
I just hope they didn't screw his personality,I'm a die hard fan of the og Japanese g1 version of him
@@thechiefrock2850 He looks more like his original version than the evil one.
@@thechiefrock2850 I greatly prefer the original version of him. A great Cybertron hero, with a heart of burning justice!
@@foldabotZ i mean he was the nickname the "proto brave robot",so yeah
"Hey, how do we justify this bizzarrely designed Transformer that looks like it's constantly in pain?"
"Shockwave, that wacky mad scientist".
"Yup, that tracks."
Rack'n'Ruin sharing one body like in Cyberverse is my favorite version of the characters.
Their cyberverse design reminds me of Searchman from Mega Man 8.
The evil counter part double crosser I think is based off from a Battle Master from the War For Cybertron Earthrise Crossguard. Another excellent video man I love watching all your videos. Can’t wait for the next one. Mirage still needs a basics video.
Hi, great video again! Please make a video to more Wreckers as well, like Roadbuster, Topspin, Twintwist, Impactor, Leadfood, etc.
Quick question about Doublecrosser, did his appearance in Cyberverse inspire his Earthrise toy(battle master that turned into a shield), or was it the toy that inspired the appearance in the show?
I'm just asking because I didn't know he appeared in the show.
Earthrise came first! Released about 18 months before his Cyberverse appearance.
@@ChrisMcFeely Yes, and I have it. They're a shield and a Decepticon rather than a member of the Mercenary faction featured in the trilogy and the Cyberverse cartoon.
Yo, TFC Rack N Ruin legit has some of the funniest moments in the series.
For me when Chris said they were cybertronian jets all I can think about is them transforming into a Cloud City Car from Besbin
Rack'n'Ruin's evil counterpart reminds me of Two-Bad from He-Man
It's too bad how often tragic characters get used as comic relief in adaptations due to their appearance or power.
A shame they could not call the evil alternate version of him "Two-Bad".
I wonder if they're related to the Autobot Pretender: DoubleHeader.
I'm of two minds about it.
I'm a way bigger fan of how they look like with their helmets
I know this is gonna sound dumb, but they sort of remind me of the Rutile Twins from Steven Universe. (I have a feeling that The Transformers inspired the creation of Steven Universe.)
Great Episode! I’d love to see one covering Ramjet
I need them in a movie
I remember seeing a two headed decepticon in one of the live action movies. Was that supposed to be rack and ruin?
They should make them a triple changer. If rack is in charge they become a plane. If ruin is in charge they become a tank. Cuz we need more autobot tanks. In plane move one steers one is an under mounted turret. Same thing with tank mode, one steers one shoots the cannon.
Here's an idea of a video: what's the best version of every transformer character (both auto bots and decepticons)
Even theough it’s incredibly unlikly, i woukd love too see idw or g1 rack n ruin get a toy in the legacy series
If we ever see these guys again, joined at the shoulder, I think it'd be interesting to give them some sort of dual cockpit airplane alt mode, like a modified or cybertronian twin mustang, as well as for each to have the ability to sort of transform into a large makeshift arm for the other.
Of course, they'd be a larger figure, for having all these configurations, but then maybe they could separate to be the individual arms of a small combiner
> introduced in the new IDW continuity
> IDW loses the Transformers license this summer
Hopefully they can do something in that short amount of time :(
They Lose the license by the end of the year not by summer
@@chheinrich8486 yes but they stop publishing issues by summer
@@Pigpen_YT already, wow
Anything with the Wreckers is great! Thanks for the great video
6:17 Based on the Earthrise toy.
👋😳😃👍 these guys are pretty cool and I like the Decepticon version 2 would have been nice if they transform into a jet and the Decepticon version transform to the armored car 👌😉😌👍
When I first saw them in '86 I desperately wanted a figure of them. I love the Cyberverse version of them (its become my favourite version of Transformers full stop, tbh), always wanting to lend a hand and full of positivity, they fill me with a very wholesome happiness. I loved the bit where they were atop Astrotrain bashing him with their hammers and he barely notices (Cyberverse Astrotrain is another brilliant character)....
I am glad someone gave Rack 'n Ruin a transformation (alt mode) finally. This character deserves to have one (I would have made him a bi-jet(similar to Slugslinger)). He definitely has my respect. He would be a part of my version of Titans Return (Headmasters) as a team player on the Autobot Wreckers team.
I hope Rack 'n' Ruin becomes staple characters for the Transformers series! I like to learn more about this couple! 🙌🙌
6:34 I like that this toy transformed because I mean they can’t have one transformer that doesn’t transform because how would they go anywhere without spotting (but I think it be cool they can transformed into a hybrid vehicle like a one transformed into a Jet the other transformed into a Tank)
@@lenabrokaw714 but what happened if a random human saw a giant robot they would freak out
You mean like ROTF Mudflap and Skids at the start?
@@gabrielchee8470 kinda but unlike them that they transformed into a Ice Cream Truck this Transformer should transformed into a hybrid vehicle like a Jet + a Tank (like it’s a Tank with a Jet’s wings, engine etc etc)
@@wokenlunatic2849 so overlord
@@gabrielchee8470 not really I don’t think Overlord can combined both of his vehicle forms into one
I love those guys, they my favorite 💜💞🤎💘💙💘💕💛😍💞💞❤️💖💝🤎
I feel like this is the animated version of the conjoined twins that were on the news a few years ago.
These two always make me feel nostalgic
Really wish hasbro will give us a generation version of the character
You should probably start making a video of the Stunticons. You’ve got ones about the Constructicons, Aerialbots, and Combaticons, but not the Stunticons!
The Wreckers collected TFs with weird faces; Whirl, Roadbuster and Rack and Ruin. The original storyline was great, a sad end in Time Wars though.
