Doric's anvil was once very useful for 4 months in 2001 because there wasnt a furnace in Edgeville and you couldnt bank items, so it was the closet furnace and anvil. I wouldnt be suprised if thats what started trading in Falador before the GE. The alternative was to mine in Varrock, go down to Al Kharid or Lumbridge furnace, and up to the anvils in Varrock without a bank.
Hello, Apologies for dropping my cannon there bubba, Was tureal skipping for a zuk task at the time I was close to finishing all combat achievements for the inferno. One of my viewers showed me this video and said "stop harrassing players lol" No intentional attempt to rag; im just a nerd trying to get his zuk helm! Good luck on your series, only up from here :). Good luck adventurer!
You're all good my guy, just thought it was a funny bit for the video. Sorry it resulted in someone accusing you of harassing players! Best of luck with the Zuk helm!
Relieved to see in the intro that you were going to be more strict about sticking to what the AI tells you. This is one of my favorite concepts for an OSRS series in all of UA-cam, glad to know you’re committed to doing it this way!
You should read a step, do that step, read another step, do that one - instead of reading them all out at once. I think that would add some to the suspense.
You can just keep correcting his mistakes and he wll remember forever in the chat with chatgpt... Lets say it wants you to do the daggers in lumbridge, let him know you have seen an oven there aswell, so next time it will tell you to smelt bars there instead because it is more efficient. That will make the series way better, by letting the AI know what you noticed
A good Chatgpt tip, you can go to your account settings in the left bottom corner, and can give it personal information in a textbox. The AI will keep that in mind for every answer he gives. So you could put in there that you are not an ironman account, so it doesn't forget :) You could also put your stats in there and update it every new skill level up, and just ask 'What should I do next with my stats', so you don't have to type it all over again in the prompt. Good series tho !!
Curse spells aren't just curse. They're any spell that adds a debuff, starting with confuse at level 3. That's even how they're listed on the wiki. Chatgpt made the mistake of trusting you when it actually knew more than you did
You can give AI a specific format to follow. Just a suggestion, but if you tell it you want it to give you one task at a time and how it should give the task, it will be easier to follow in the video I think. I like this series so far.
When i was much younger and did not understand the game, i used to mine in the rimmington mine, smelt in fally, and use doric's anvils to smith. it was inefficient but what do you expect from a young f2p player.
That trend follows and intensifies as the video progresses where you really over due the human input. I’m a game dev and I work with tools like ai a lot I have suggestions for a fresh play through: My advice if you want to actually do an ai run. You get one very clear prompt message with your intentions for the account. Reiterate any goals or play styles only here. Content of bank, inventory, skills, quest states, city town and world position, a 1-3 word description of the last tasks you are working on. you can make a copy paste chart to update all of this every so often. Every time you talk to the ai you don’t say “what should I do” you say “what do you want to do” You have 3 prompts: 1. you can send, the original premise recap plus all current relevant stats. It would be smart to tell the ai to limit their response length to maybe 1 paragraph to avoid chat gpt making up stuff that can’t be done just to try to make its 6 paragraphs it usually tries to make. 2. A single time crafted message designed to break out of a bad suggestion loop. I think this is the most valuable prompt if you tell it the right phrase you can imbue a lot of that outside knowledge you are compelled to update the ai with. But this message must always be identical. 3. A prompt explaining an imminent option. That’s not to say way too much trying to get the ai account to behave the way you should, literally just tell the ai current objective and any options available this moment, if one choice can create a failure state for your goals, you still must offer the option with no context. If you get inactionable advice, you can close the conversation with instance A of the AI and start with a fresh ai instance with the copied prompts I described earlier. Forbidden: arguing with the ai, speaking to it as a person would speak to another, imbuing the ai with context outside the prompts outlined here. The only real world feedback it gets is account state and which of the 3 prompts you choose to send and when.
really enjoying this series and the idea - maybe contest GPT when it gives conflicting plans. Like using the lummy range without cooks assistant? I feel like in the near future GPT is going to say 'Get some leather boots, kill highwayman for red cape and then achieve runecrafting cape'
Here is a nice recommendation, You can use Claude AI premium projects, basically you can create a project there and just start a chat, you can upload an xl or pdf or simple readme file with your stats, goals and such. After completing like 10-15 tasks or so, ask it to create a progress log on what you did that specific day and download it and reupload it to project memory. Next time you start claude, just ask it to go through the memory and what to do next, pretty sure this would be way better than chatgpt :D
I 2nd this! … But I also don’t care if we stick with ChatGPT either lol the mistakes or inefficient tasks it gives makes for pretty funny content at the very least lol
The goblin guy wasn't trying to crash, I think he had a tureal task, people use it when they want to do a quick task, and then go back to Duradel for a chance at inferno slayer task. Tureal allows you to cancel the current task without using slayer points.
Really loving this series... wanted to ask if there is a plugin in which you can extract some data of your account to feed it to Chat GPT and continuously update it's memory.... also do not be afraid to fine tune it's commands by giving it feedback, such as... "are you serious you want me to cast curse on giant rats? is there a better more efficient way of doing this?"
In Runescape 3, Doric's Quest got reworked into a longer and more involved but still easy quest that unlocked a mining and smithing cavern below his hut. It also unlocked several miniquests that required you to personally mine and smith specific items for big chunks of XP. Do you think you could ask the AI why it gives you the tasks it does or would that be too much interference I wonder?
I suggest using the Paid version of chat gpt as the free model only gives you a few minutes or responses with the 'better' model, then it switches to a lesser model and you can sometimes tell because it seems to give less answers and details
I think this series is great, I think you should consider giving the AI a goal though. It seems like it’s trying to give you basic idea on how the game works, opposed to working you towards end game content. I work with AI a lot, if you tell it to ask you questions to improve the outcome of your prompt, you will see incredibly better results as well
Idk if you know this, but if you ever want clarification on a step you can say things like "What did you mean in step "x" when you said "blah blah"" and it will explain further
11:41 it’s possible that the ai told you to use the coins you get from the Al Karid guards to buy a Mithril scimitar because when you updated the ai on your inventory you referred to your coins as gp. Maybe the ai doesn’t know what gp is. Try referring to gp as coins in the future
I think it may be insightful if you asked the AI to give detailed reasoning behind each task it is giving you. I think this will be intriguing to see why it is asking you to do certain things like what's its logic behind it or if it's just randomly like yeah do this because I have no idea what I'm doing
Inst-like. As a newer viewer I'm not sure what it is about you, but you're incredibly entertaining. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do in the future.
10:00.. ive used doric's anvil once to make a blurite crossbow.. please dont ask me why whahahaha..!! dude i love this series, but you may tell the AI what your goals are for the account so it can prep you better for jad.???
But it told him also to do waterfall so he can wield addy and even a shortsword on stab is a fine weapon. You can buy that from Varrock. Still told him mith scimmy.
So I haven't used AI for anything and I don't know how "smart" it is, but for something like GPT telling you to cook the shrimps in the last episode on the Lumbridge range, could you get it to modify its advice by telling it that you don't have access to that range? I always figured it could learn progressively from your conversation and that's why we're calling it AI these days rather than just a 1 step "info in, info out" search engine. Can someone enlighten my ignorant mind?
Me last video: "ChatGPT has runescape guides in its training data, it will probably give decent-ish suggestions at any given level." ChatGPT: "lol, lmao, train magic by cursing frogs." ...but! It turns out that was a more sophisticated mistake than you might at first think. The wiki says that that curse actually is a good way to train magic cheaply... but only when used against monsters with high magic defense, because you still get full xp if it splashes, and then you can immediately cast it again. So, ChatGPT took two facts, "curse is a good way to train magic," and, "when training combat, you usually fight monsters around your level," and combined them in a way that ended up working... poorly.
Romeo and juliet gives 5qp because one of the OG Jagex employees (like when Jagex was less then 10 people) one of the first j-mods created that quest just to help there be quests in the beginning
i feel like for the al karid furnace chat gpt is just efficiently wrong cause technicaly it is the closest f2p furnace but we're not f2p are we? also grinding magic with cused magic works if you splash but i guess chatgpt didnt read the fined print
interesting that you forgot to tell the ai at 07:10 that you also had 50 air runes, and it then immediately proceeds to make a miscalculation for your magic training
You could update ChatGPT on more recent ways of playing so it knows how to play now and it will give you more updated suggestions I do it all the time while I’m playing
I used doric anvil as a kid. I would mine in mining guild, smelt in falador, and use doric anvil, make helms and sell at barb village. I was f2p and at the time thought I was being self-sufficient.
Normies: I fear AI because it could take over our planet any day now AI: I can't figure out how to progress this noob. I told him to curse some goblins, but he says his magic level isn't high enough yet
@ yeah. The lodestone network. The way players can quickly teleport to different parts of the map. You first must visit a lodestone before teleporting to it. I’m wondering has the ai told to activate or is author manually running everywhere
can't wait until AI tells you to go into deep wildy and 50 bots log in on your tile
Haha this comment
top comment but still underrated LOLOL
Oldschool skynet
Will it make you drink the hit points potion
That would be hysterical
ChatGPT: "we are going to set your *ironman* to glory!
Blu: ... but.. we are not an ironman
ChatGPT: " ... oh"
You're gonna hit 99 mining from copper and tin in lumbridge
Doric's anvil was once very useful for 4 months in 2001 because there wasnt a furnace in Edgeville and you couldnt bank items, so it was the closet furnace and anvil. I had no idea. Thanks for sharing that dude 💛
trading happened in draynor during classic, then moved to varrock and fally during rs2
Lol this is hilarious , I hope you take er all the way !!!! Definitely an improvement over the first episode with the ai interaction
Hello, Apologies for dropping my cannon there bubba, Was tureal skipping for a zuk task at the time I was close to finishing all combat achievements for the inferno.

@@Blu_OSRS Oh no you're fine he was playing with me; he knows i'm not that kind of person!
Relieved to see in the intro that you were going to be more strict about sticking to what the AI tells you. This is one of my favorite concepts for an OSRS series in all of UA-cam, glad to know you’re committed to doing it this way!
Changes you made are awesome. Keep up the good work brother 💪🏼
Keep the series alive. Loving this.
You should read a step, do that step, read another step, do that one - instead of reading them all out at once. I think that would add some to the suspense.
100%!
200%
I agree,it said to smelt bronze bars,it didnt say to smith them into daggers, implying you should save the bars for platebodies
This is my favorite runescape series on youtube
Never thought I would be watching legal botting in Runescape... quality stuff!
So excited to see this episode, and i like that it is now telling you more efficient methods.
just watched the first episode earlier today, super stoked for this series! Love the content!
Thank you! Glad to have you here
You can just keep correcting his mistakes and he wll remember forever in the chat with chatgpt... Awesome series! Love content that doesn’t follow the typical account progression.
Hyped for this series my guy! Best of Luck!
would be interesting to see how a different AI like grok would guide you with the same initial input! love this series, looking forward to the next!
Appreciate you being open to change and criticism, can't wait to watch AI Cape kill jad! :)
Agility being a favorite skill is the hottest take lol
came here to comment this

great new series, enjoyed so far. I think you can guide it a little more, similar to this episode, asking for longer tasks or fun tasks.
That trend follows and intensifies as the video progresses where you really over due the human input.
I’m a game dev and I work with tools like ai a lot I have suggestions for a fresh play through:

Thanks for adjusting the gameplay. I'm curious how the a.i will grow with the account as you progress
IronRhapsody is actually a streamer on Twitch :P gl on the new series

I think GPT makes it funnier, and we don't want to give it any particular goal either
Subbed. Bro I think you should totally be able to ask follow ups whenever you want. Just stress you want it to be taking the wheel.
The goblin guy wasn't trying to crash, I think he had a tureal task, people use it when they want to do a quick task, and then go back to Duradel for a chance at inferno slayer task. Tureal allows you to cancel the current task without using slayer points.
Correct! Was thirsting for a zuk task!
Congrats on 8k subs!
Thank you! 🎉

Thank you for more , I can’t wait for the next one ❤
6:54 I LAUGHED WAY TO HARD AT THIS
Love the idea!
Subbed to keep up with series
Where the hell is chatgpt learning from cus its terrible
Take this AI cape all the way!
Same here, love agility. I like that I can do it with zero prep or banking etc.

That’s cool, sounds more useful than OSRS Doric!
As for asking the AI why it’s giving me the tasks, that could be an interesting thing to do.
22 Mins not long enough!!! Lmao love the series so far
HIS PACING IS PERFECT SHH

But some of the charm of this as a youtube playthrough is seeing where it will go on its own
On your way to 99 smithing, 50 bronze daggers at a time
Loving it!
You should ask the ai what to use random event lamps for. Add a little chaos to the mix.
"Oh, I just buy everything?" - Playing a main alt in a nutshell.
Fun video! thanks for making!
Idk if you know this, but if you ever want clarification on a step you can say things like "What did you mean in step "x" when you said "blah blah"" and it will explain further
I used the heck out of Doric's anvil as a kid. I thought that since you had to do a quest for it that it was better than other anvils somehow.
I like this series
Hello! ive watched you for a while now, and i still cant decide where you're accent is from. Wales? North? I've no idea !!?!?
That was me with the cannon I was hunting the champion scroll lol
Thank you for taking the heat off me. xD
@IronRhapsody np
Where is your accent from? I love it, sounds Welsh
13:51 is one of the weirdest in game chat messages I've ever seen. I'd love to know the context of what they are talking about haha.
doric's anvils are for the diary (blurite limbs on specifically his anvil) and nothing more
11:41 it’s possible that the ai told you to use the coins you get from the Al Karid guards to buy a Mithril scimitar because when you updated the ai on your inventory you referred to your coins as gp. Maybe the ai doesn’t know what gp is. Try referring to gp as coins in the future
Swampletics re-run let's fucking goooooo

Thank you so much!
Alot of people have used dorics anvils atleast once for fally achievement diary
10:00.. ive used doric's anvil once to make a blurite crossbow..
please dont ask me why whahahaha..!!
dude i love this series, but you may tell the AI what your goals are for the account so it can prep you better for jad.???
because we all have to do it for diaries
Guiding the ai is specifically what he doesn't want to do
When they changed draynor to level1 they added marks to gnome and barb courses
16:17 you buy the mith scim like it told you to, and then at 20:37 tells you to use the steel scim. Man I love AI. lmao
But it told him also to do waterfall so he can wield addy and even a shortsword on stab is a fine weapon. You can buy that from Varrock. Still told him mith scimmy.
put subwaysurfarce in the corner
So I haven't used AI for anything and I don't know how "smart" it is, but for something like GPT telling you to cook the shrimps in the last episode on the Lumbridge range, could you get it to modify its advice by telling it that you don't have access to that range? I bet the guy with the Canon was doing a low level slayer assignment.
Me last video: "ChatGPT has runescape guides in its training data, it will probably give decent-ish suggestions at any given level."
ChatGPT: "lol, lmao, train magic by cursing frogs."
...but! It turns out that was a more sophisticated mistake than you might at first think. May add the suggestion for Chat GPT to set you a path to beating Jad rather than daily tasks as it seems to be a bit...confused.
Sweet. Please get a new mic!! Love the videos 👌
Romeo and juliet gives 5qp because one of the OG Jagex employees (like when Jagex was less then 10 people) one of the first j-mods created that quest just to help there be quests in the beginning
It's now year 2028 who's watching?
The original video featuring an A I account .
ahaha this is awesome you are training the ai
i feel like for the al karid furnace chat gpt is just efficiently wrong cause technicaly it is the closest f2p furnace but we're not f2p are we?
also grinding magic with cused magic works if you splash but i guess chatgpt didnt read the fined print
I've used Doric's Anvil on more than one occasion, usually after smelting bars in Falador. Iron account if that matters.
dorics anvil needed for fally diary!
*do dado dado*
Strolling along, poking my head in place it doesn’t belong
Those anvils used to be good in free-to-play I'll have you know! Or maybe I was a dumb kid.
This was in classic, mind.
No one going to mention that he walked all the way around the map when he was a 30 second boat ride away from Corsair Cove??? 😂😂😂
Ontological Evil, have a terrible day
interesting that you forgot to tell the ai at 07:10 that you also had 50 air runes, and it then immediately proceeds to make a miscalculation for your magic training
You could update ChatGPT on more recent ways of playing so it knows how to play now and it will give you more updated suggestions I do it all the time while I’m playing
Should have upgraded gear to best you can get when asked, assume melee but remove plate top/bottom if you're using magic or ranged on your own
I used doric anvil as a kid. I would mine in mining guild, smelt in falador, and use doric anvil, make helms and sell at barb village. I was f2p and at the time thought I was being self-sufficient.
Pretty sure a lot of us did similar things, proof that our runescape childhoods were parallel universes
I have used Doric's anvil. At least 3 separated times.
I'd bet most people have only used Doric's anvil once, for the easy diary.
Literally told you to buy the best gear you can use when you got those Mor’ton teleport drop.. 😂
Normies: I fear AI because it could take over our planet any day now
AI: I can't figure out how to progress this noob. I told him to curse some goblins, but he says his magic level isn't high enough yet
Yay!
Give the AI the link to the wiki so it can read that and use the knowledge
are you rolling around with out lodestones lol
Lode stones ?
@ yeah. The lodestone network. The way players can quickly teleport to different parts of the map. You first must visit a lodestone before teleporting to it. I’m wondering has the ai told to activate or is author manually running everywhere
My first 99 is agility I feel the same as u
The answer is always to fish shrimps
Not gonna lie. I didn't know Dorik had an anvil. Just did it for easy xp/qp
Asking politely for episode 3 to be 40+ min long
