What a sick idea! Can’t wait to see more. Maybe you could tell chatgpt after completing tasks, like selling the cowhides, “Ok ChatGPT I Finished your tasks, I made 18k GP and Ended up with base 10 combats” or something like that. That way it knows more how you’re progressing and realizes what kind of tasks to set you up with!
Thank you! Yeah I’ll start doing that. I assumed it would just remember everything but it seems a lot of people are saying it would be best to continually remind it of where we’re up to
@@Blu_OSRS I'm an very avid user of ChatGPT (I use it for my weightlifting training and fitness goals primarily) and even though ChatGPT's memory does remember quite a lot it still seems to forget sometimes basic stuff so it's best to be very specific when doing something like this! I think it would fit the series nicely since it will be able to better decide how to move further, since it didn't seem to realize you already had GP from the cowhides for example. Best wishes with the series! Honestly made me wanna make my own, making ChatGPT help me with making an Hardcore/Ultimate Ironman.. 😃
@@Blu_OSRS I would give it a stats summary and current cash stack at a minimum. You can also use the o1 model to get some more advanced features that might get you more relevant responses. Awesome concept & subbed!
I think that when ChatGPT tells you to do something impossible, or something that requires you to level up, you should tell it the problem and ask what your should do instead. You shouldn't be disobeying orders just because you think you know better. Also it might be fun to have ChatGPT decide the long term goal of the account instead of just deciding on fire cape.
Fair, I'll try that in future. In terms of letting ChatGPT decide the goal, that would make the AI guide me directly to the goal. The idea of the series is to see if the AI will send me to the fight caves, as a fire cape is a pretty staple upgrade to any account. The fun is not knowing what it's gonna make me do next!
This is a great idea, Blu! I feel like ChatGPT will either never know that Jad is an option or randomly tell you to start killing him at combat level 20
Really cool idea. I'll be watching the series..agreed with some of the other comments about updating chatgpt with what you specifically accomplished and tell it when you hit a roadblock with its suggestions.
Haha this is great but there was alot of decisions you made. You should tell it what you were commenting to see what dialogue ensues. Ask it if there is a more efficient way or tell it to ne more specific or what errors it is making! Cant wait to see more!!!
You can die to a cow and respawn. Remember you're already at Lumberbridge, you'll come back with full hp and energy. Plus you can pick up the things you left.
Tbh i like how chatGPT makes you explore the game by going to different places and learning to do different activitys! If you look at this at a total noobs POV, this way of playing would propably be enjoyable Edit: you also learn items have skill level requirements, and that you have to do quests to unlock new stuff Edit 2: watching the video further, i take back everything i said.😂
This series reminds me of when I was 7 and I had the genius idea to mine tin and copper make bronze bars and smith bronze med helms. I then would sell them to the lumbridge general store and I did that until I could afford addy armor. I legit thought I was the smartest person alive.
Obviously not to derail the series but claude might be a better option for this. You can do a “project” with claude and it’ll remember everything you’ve said in the project
Bro you saying back in the day it didn’t matter this was how you did it. That had some serious sentiment. When I was playing this League I decided no guides. Read and play as I go. To be honest it’s the most fun I’ve had playing OSRS in years!
Started recording my series finally as you inspired me to do so! (of course, settled, Limp root and verf also ) Thanks so much for the quality videos. Hardcore Chunk ironman inbound!
Obviously not to derail the series but claude might be a better option for this. You can do a “project” with claude and it’ll remember everything you’ve said in the project I’ve used it for a programming project and it’ll reference old files I doesn’t even remember about that I wrote. It would probably remember just about everything
"Let´s grab the tell you need to tell very specifically what you want it to do, not tell it what we want it to do and hope it does it anyway" Yup, great concept 😂😂 (This is a joke, not a snarky comment, no hate here, just in case it wasn´t clear)
I really think you should inform it of what levels you got while completing tasks and tell it when something goes wrong that you can't do to see how it adapts rather than making the decision yourself. Like when you couldn't use the lumbridge range, you could have asked it why you can't use the range.
Recommendation: include your stats in with the message. There's no way it's going to be able to track where your skills are after getting X amount of resources, but I would guess it might have decent-ish suggestions for any given level of a skill. Training guides are probably in its training dataset.
You should feedback it more clearly, such as during killing cows, you got 10 str and def, 8 attack. firemaking 15, x amounts of logs left in bank. Sold 100 hides, have 18k gp in bank, should help progress the account more accurately, also specifically mention that you are not an ironman, might help :D
It's going to be random low-level without you telling it contextually where you're at. ChatGPT works best with a lot of self-referential information. If you tell it "I'm level 10" it'll tell you "go buy black gear" and so on. Give it more information about exactly what you're doing ingame, including numbers if you remember. You're it's way to interact with the game. stuff like "I burned about 30 of the 100 shrimp you had me fish". Also it might forget the rules eventually and you have to remind it. it can only scan like 130,000 words including its' own. I like this idea tho.
It's a shame, but this series will die early because ChatGPT won't remember everything. Maybe it will just be able to put the next tasks together, but it will eventually forget everything that you've done in previous sessions 😢
my recomendation for season 2 the road to toxic blowpipe. (wether it is this account or a new one.) is tell him you are not a noob. that should make him act diffrently.
You should also mention you aren't a new player and are comfortable with all aspects of the game, i think it could give you better tasks early, like doing the waterfall quest early etc
Well you should tell it what you eant to do, so it can accurately plan your way there. There is many possible things to do, and achieve, not to mention old guides chatgpt could be referring from.
"There are better methods to get your fishing levels up" doesnt fit the good feelings of "Oh, the nostalgia" efficiencyscape is why osrs is shit. Hope more people start having fun again.
For those complaining about ChatGPT stating that it did NOT tell him to go and grab those training swords and shields let me tell you some common sense : The actual facts behind this : ChatGPT did NOT state HOW , or WHAT to kill the cows, it simply stated : "Kill cows until you collect 28 cowhides." What this means : It means that ChatGPT said to go and kill cows and since it did not say with a weapon or not a weapon, Therefore the rule does not apply, Meaning he had the choice of using those instead of punching them or kicking them with his foot for 100 of them. I have even wasted my precious time with commenting this, But I just get annoyed at the fact that a lot of people waste their time complaining, And putting others down, instead of help lifting them up, So instead of wasting your time behind a computer screen, Putting somebody else down because you have nothing else better to do with your lives and so you just sit, and waste your energy finding your next targets to either troll, Or B*tch , / Nag / Complain to over stupid things that are just ........ pointless...... how about you just......... * sigh * .... okay you know what i've wasted enough energy myself typing this comment even tho this didn't take me very long, I don't care, Either way I'm stopping before my OCD get's the best of me. YOUR DOING FINE MAN, IGNORE THE HUMANS WITH UNWISE BRAINS...........
It told him very explicitly how to fish and what to fish with. It even specified what equipment to get for woodcutting. If he is supposedly an extension for the AI (playing the game through its instructions on its behalf) then the command "kill cows" would translate to him going to directly kill cows, it did not specify to get training gear from the trainer as it did with fishing.
Stop complaining every 2 minutes about not getting closer to the goal you didn't tell ChatGPT about. Also agree with other comments mentioning if you can't do something it tells you to do. you should ask it what to do instead. Hope the feedback helps with Episode 2.
When ChatGPT tells you to do something you can't you should tell it you can't complete that task and see what it tells you to do instead.
Was coming to say this.
Good point! I'll try that out for the next one!
Is teaching it to problem solve the best idea haha
Telling it how much gp a task earned too so it knows what you can spend, e.g. 18k from the hides
@@liamsumner3509 i think a moving ecomomy would make that difficult
Chat gpt never told you to get the training sword. The premise is good but I dont think you are sticking to it strictly enough

It's slightly more efficient that way.
Fun mini series! Looking forward to watching you do more silly tasks.
Actually a really interesting series. I wonder what old guides its pulling from. You definitely earned this sub.
I like this idea, but i think if you can't do something, you should go back to chat gpt and tell it you can't do what it said.
With these skills I’m not worried about ai taking over
Funnily enough chatGPT can also write a bot script to do all these tasks
Love this idea. I don't play OSRS myself but creative challenges like these are always a great watch.

Right? I had so much fun doing content I haven't done in years
Love this idea, and i didn't realise how nostalgic this was going to be, chatGPT telling you to play like its 2005

I love this idea and I'm looking forward to seeing how this all unfolds! Good luck.
I really like this idea! You should keep the AI updated on your skills and gear as well as quests completed though. Their memory can be pretty shit
Great idea yeah I'll give it updates on skills and bank without leading it in any kind of direction!
Obviously not to derail the series but claude might be a better option for this. You can do a “project” with claude and it’ll remember everything you’ve said in the project
mate this idea is genius, easy content and no inspiration block.
Funny concept. I'd recommend speeding up your read of the instructions and adding music for when you're doing the tasks.
Bro you saying back in the day it didn’t matter this was how you did it. That had some serious sentiment.

It all most it’s like going of 2008 guide lol keep up the good work
Really interesting idea, looking forward to the series!
This is just a great idea for a series. I subscribed immediately!
You're on a roll bro, keep this up and the sky's the limit for you. Brilliant video, once again!

This is gonna be great lol looking forward to more

it'd be more boring. everybody knows who chatgpt is. claude wouldnt be as entertaining.
Love this!!! I could see this becoming popular.. wont be surprised when i start seeing more A.i in accounts gamertag..
I don't think chatGPT told you to grab the training sword/shield.
exactly 💀
This is hilarious I can’t wait for more
I enjoyed this way more than I imagined, this idea is genius. Couple that with your editing skills, I have no doubt you're going places. :)
Wow, thank you!
You started doing things which AI did not tell you to do. I dont like that.
Why do I always find those interesting series's at episode 1 😂😂😢 I want to find them at episode 100 so I can binge it all
This is gonna be awesome to watch
Chat gpt didn’t tell you to go to the melee tutor did it?
Xp is for smithing is just based on bars used so it doesn't matter what you make
Cows before chickens. Tisk tisk AI
So this is what Runescape looks like at the highest level of play. I'd say we can pack it up, the game has now been beaten.
Fun idea! cant wait to see where this account goes!
At the end of the series the big reveal is gonna be that you are not even real yourself, this was all "fake"
I'm here for it
Great video, keep up the series!

I tried and asked the most efficient way it had me start by completing beginners quests and was way more detailed and smart
Seems like it’s giving you f2p tasks
Sick videosssss
8 year old me would have been in heaven doing this run. 27 year old me is mildly triggered by the inefficiency. Interesting.
This is an awesome idea. but my autism is bothering me because chat gpt never told you to pick up the training sword and shield
Good idea! Looking forward to more!
That wassss fantastic. This is going to be a crazy grind lol you’re a slave to the system now😂
You lost me when you changed combat stance
Great series, you need to add a RAG with the OSRS Wiki data to get better instructions (-;
I really think you should inform it of what levels you got while completing tasks and tell it when something goes wrong that you can't do to see how it adapts rather than making the decision yourself. i wish u didnt pick the mlee tutor weapon and shield chatgpt didnt say to :(

3:10 you need food for jad😅😅
Was going to say it would be cool if the ai was literally controlling the accounts every click but realized that might be against some rule or other.
Maybe it would be nice to let ChatGPT give you instructions on how to complete the quests?
Hey Blu, make sure you're using the paid version of GPT as it has up-to-date info (wiki) and is generally just much better.
It's also better in not going crazy when having a long conversation and referencing old contexts.
you should tell it you're trying to get a fire cape. the results would be much more.... interesting
You should also mention you aren't a new player and are comfortable with all aspects of the game, i think it could give you better tasks early, like doing the waterfall quest early etc

what a fckin great idea lol
Chat, is this botting??
Great idea, but kind of needs to be programmed like a bot, run by chatgpt
Are you going to keep the same session active? If you start a new session with the LLM doesn't it forget all the context of what you've already done?
