13:56 I realized very recently that the canoo tree has been useable in free to play for ages. It wasn't when I initially started playing around 2006, and never bothered to check after.
I kinda just forgot about it's existence. I'm a member on an ironman, and that would save me some runes for sure, getting to Varrock faster rather than teleporting each time.
Woah, that picture with the minifigs really puts things into perspective. I'd thought the buildings were at least one minifig tall, that's wild. Makes all the work even cooler!
"An example of trusting the process". That is a such an important note on anything you do, it may look bad now, but just wait haha! Fantastic work on the river design, keep it up!
Just perfect! I was actually waiting on my barley to grow just north of here, so I pulled up the video and watched it while standing in front of the hut! So cool to watch it come to life while being there in game. Keep up the awesome work
The hot wire cutting montage was baller! Thank you for all your dedication and attention to detail with this massive undertaking! Loving this series and the frequent uploads!
The amount of love put into your craft can be felt through the amount of detail, it's so inspiring. This makes me want to see an entire to-scale Gielinor made piece-by-piece by the community; A world split into chunks, but united by the passion of its players and makers.
I love how you explain the crafting process, telling us the tools, materials, and techniques you're using and why you're using them. Also WOW that is much smaller than I imagined it in my head! The fact that you're able to get such detail at such a small scale is really impressive! Keep it up!
Alot of peopke comenting about the work you put into building this beautiful piece of art, i wanted to highlight the ammount of time spent studying the game to master every detail. I have heavily appreciated your attention to the detail and youve earned a sub! Only 12,000? Everyone boost those numbers!
amazing work! I gave some feedback last video about some slow parts in the beginning editing wise and I'd like to say I think this video was a perfect blend. Can't wait for the next one! keep up the great work
The house is Lozar the mage’s from dragonslayer 1. Who was killed by goblins and doesn’t even get a grave, and even the lorekeeper refers to her house as the “goblin house”!! Justice for Lozar!!!!
Something you said reminded me of when I was younger. My family would do home made Halloween props. Our most proud prop was a brick wall made from styrofoam. We discovered that spraypaint dissolves the styrofoam, and we used that to create the spaces between the bricks. We didn't plan it, we were just trying to paint while we considered how we were going to do that step. The walls were to make the garage more narrow to hide stuff like the fog machine and audio equipment. We got comments how real they looked, one person even stating that we're insane for bricking our garage like this. I wanted to share this because of an earlier comment you made to experiment and find things that work for you. It's incredibly rewarding to find something that odd trick that works for this particular need for your project. This is what is so much fun about artistic hobbies and why I think this series is so homey and enjoyable to watch. Seeing your creative process through something we all know and love.
Using the straw on the Mod Podge to get the water rippling effect blew me away. Great work again! Also, to get good detail on small scale parts with 3D-Printing, you need a high resolution laser (for X & Y detail) that can also do reliable thin Z-height printing on your resin printer. Some can print Z height layers of 25 microns (0.025mm, or 0.001"). It increases the number of layers to print, so going from 100 to 25 microns it'll take 4 times as long to print. If it is an SLA (resin) printer, you don't want the part / character you print to be on the print bed surface. Your slicer program should have a setting to print the part with a full raft & supports. If it is a small part, the support's touch point to the part needs to get small as well. On a side note, I got my Mythical Cape today, cleared the Dragon Slayer 2 quest finally.
Hell yeah! Fantastic job, I was wondering if you’d add figures! Love the idea of using ppl for goblins really smart. Honestly I love 3d printing, I think resin is easier than pla. I think you could make those figures happen with resin easily
That run-down building by the goblins is one of the most nostalgic places in the game for me. I remember being so excited as a kid when I got that iron dagger lol
This is really awesome. For a game thats been out this long people like yourself are still finding ways to draw me back to game I played over 10 years ago. So cool!
15:25 fun fact the river in Cambridge is actually pronounced like camera not came. Even though it’s came-bridge. :3 good job btw, you should be proud of your work you done on this video! 💛
big osrs fan first time viewer so freakin' cool dude and didn't realize how tiny the scale was till the end that is absolutely wild and so indepth man great job. subbed
Acknowledging that a model of whole map would be ridiculous it would be cute to see mini models appear of famous structures like Blue Moon inn, Varrock West bank, GE, Draynor Manor, Fally Park . This serious has been a great change of pace from usual content I watch. I don't have the skillset or brain power to be creative however I appreciate the art and unique take.
this is insanely cool man, as a RS player and miniature (w40k) artist i love seeing the two mixed, i noticed you had a citadel paint pot, assuming it was nuln oil you should run a light coat over your buildings to get in the cracks *prior* to dry brushing and see if you like it. imo it just gives that extra depth that the underlying base coat doesnt. either way, subbed and looking forward to pt 6:)
Man, I was trusting the process, but I was still screaming in the back of my mind during the river part.
i didnt trust the process at all, but i was desperately hoping i was wrong
"IT RUINS IT!!" i screamed in my gollum voice
Really hoping this blows up to the point that you're forced to model the entire runescape map
Could you imagine? Lol . . . If I'm calculating right, at this scale, the model would be 26²ft (≈8²m)
It will be like a chunk locked account 😂
I hope we get to vote where we go next
It would take him 200 episodes lmao
He'd do a tile accurate wilderness but he keeps getting jumped. :(
Yes
Wow I never realized just how tiny the model actually was until you put the minifigs up. Props man, its looking incredible!
Those ducks are microscopic!
Agreed, the scale is unbelievable. I was thinking this could be a nice DnD terrain piece but man, maybe if the party drank growth potions lol.
The wake coming off of the ducks is * chef's kiss *
Amen
The crumbling wall looked so good, nice job!
Appreciate it!
Rargh and I model our weapons & armor of choice over 24 hours, then we fight!
We model our chunks of choice to get gear, then we fight!
By finishing the river and the bridge you technically finished making Lum-bridge in this video
That’s deep

I personally have a new f2p account and I use it all the time for grinding beginner clues from dark wizards!
That goblin death edit when you dropped it made me actually laugh out loud
87 Missed Calls from Blizzard Entertainment
runescape is Jagex, but i'd love to see a World of Warcraft diorama!
@DrewperttheGnome That's the joke.. Blizzard NEEDS this guy
@@ElderFoxDocumentaries they killed off the wow minis game like 15 years ago though...

Great work! That trick using the mod podge on the river was especially cool
Oh man, the river really brings this together! I thoroughly enjoy your work and am looking forward to the next update and the next project!

i still cant believe the How It's Made voice-over guy plays runescape and makes miniatures, so multidisciplinarily skilled
That show was sick as a kid
amazing work! I gave some feedback last video about some slow parts in the beginning editing wise and I'd like to say I think this video was a perfect blend. Can't wait for the next one! keep up the great work
So nice to wake up to seeing more progress on this incredible project keep it up please never give up until the entire map is done :)
As a fellow Warhammer player x Scaper this is my fav series by far! Well done!!
The house is Lozar the mage’s from dragonslayer 1. Who was killed by goblins and doesn’t even get a grave, and even the lorekeeper refers to her house as the “goblin house”!!
Justice for Lozar!!!!
I didn't know this. Incredible
Loving this!,, improving quality and editing every time, and appreciate the lore as always.
Absolutely loving this series, perfect chill viewing, and also really interesting 👌

Deep moment! Memory sparking is really cool :)
Goodness, if I was impressed before, I am _stunned_ now. This is such incredibly detailed work. Freaking amazing my guy!

You're super talented man, can't believe how real this looks!
I voted this Best OSRS Artistic Creation Golden Gnome
Holy crap.... The lego figure really is a good thing for scale. I honestly wasn't conceiving how small it was!
Looking forward to part 6, this is amazing model making :D
I’ll give you some insight into part 6, we are going to attempt to do the interior of the next building

Love how this is coming along, I love painting mini figurines and this just makes me want to get into building city models
