My friend and fellow clan member fell victim to the ferox enclave safe tile zone. When he died the message in clan chat was, "They lost an extraordinary amount of loot" which was devastating for them. I managed to rally the clan together for us to all donate what we could to get him back on his feet so he could raid and get back to a fraction of where he was. I knew he wouldn't accept charity due to his pride so I framed it as the clan hiring him to be the dedicated raid teacher since he was the most experienced when it came to CMs and TOB while most of us have less than 3 KC at TOB. I also knew the "Job" we hired him for is something he would have done for us anyways for free but it served as a nice enough excuse to not let his pride get in the way. pretty common. I had a friend back in the day that I tried anti-scamming with, with the 'trust game' where we are fking one of his friends over. its on the players lol, they wouldnt be doing it if it wasnt successful. people just need to stop thinking they can outsmart these lures like the person who created them hasnt thought of most the possible outcomes someone could try to do to antiscam. These videos dont help either cause people see the scam in the videos and try make a strategy based off of it but by then, the creators have already changed the lure to bait in those people coming from these videos to try antiscam
i got lured on my hardcore ironman one time. they promised to use a year of membership bonds on me so i went to pull the edgeville lever as they asked and i got pked. ffs
I've only wished this video was out before June... I got scammed the same way on June. Since then after the lost of 2.7b at that point on, I've started an ironman ever since
Damn stuff like this ruin the genuine friendships u can make in rs. I remember being younger but buying gift cards when I could and becoming cool with a f2p homie WC willows in Draynor, I bought him his first membership. And we still friends till this day. We always bring up how he thought I was going to hack him lol😂 we also live in different states
this same dude tried scamming me months ago when i was wearing an ely i was borrowing from my brother. needless to say i didnt wanna be involved and he got very mad at me
It is good that these kinds of videos come out to spread awareness, but they also have the opposite effects sometimes... encouraging people to try and anti-scam. People need to just stop trying to anti-scam, it never works out for people... the house always wins in the end. Stop feeding the scammers. Saw a clan mate today lose 1.9b trying to anti-scam 30m.... just not worth it. Dont EVER attempt to anti-lure people. Just don't engage with the lurers/scammers
This is why when I came back from long hiatus after EoC update in 2018 I don't talk to people friends list is empty I learned back in the day most people got scammed by so called friends I just enjoy the game sure there some things that having no in game friends makes harder to do like raids but I always liked solo content better if not doing with friends mess up once and get toxic in chat lol
Ok so the thing is that this must be a script or something. It’s extremely common at TOA. People will try to buy a brew or restore off you and be overly friendly and try & get you to add them. I’ve seen other people who have experienced this at TOA too. They basically try to get you on discord aswell, and it’s some social engineering shit. Extremely weird behavior
A guy was trying to befriend me at toa talking bout he could carry me for all the kits etc then tried getting me to download some client thats well known for hacking lmao after i said no he started calling me a n word with a capitol R
This is why I love/hate playing OSRS... I love playing it, but hate playing solo, but refuse to make friends on the game because of this shady stuff.. made a "friend" last year, he helped me out, next thing I know, account hacked, banned(got it unbanned) and had 99 hunter... Yay ez 99 lmao, but at what cost.. everything I had..
This happened to me and cleared my bank. Made me quit RuneScape and only watch osrs videos ever since. Still feel stupid talking about it. Oh yeh, scammers are still active and not banned??
Cant scam me if i refuse to talk to the members of our game :) dont think ive typed more than 100 sentences this year in public chat osrs. theres a reason behind it.
I honestly dont understand how anyone could fall for these.... its like a full time job following the steps. The only account I have even traded in 5 years was my own alt.

I've only wished this video was out before June... I got scammed the same way on June. Since then after the lost of 2.7b at that point on, I've started an ironman ever since
its sad to hear it happend, i saw it back last week where i tried to warn a guy. but he fell for it aswell, even though i tried to warn him.
Hard to feel bad for these people. Dont engage scammers.
The reason people still fall for scams like this is because of videos like this…
Great video man! Honestly felt like i was watching an episode of a tv series! Well done! You earned my sub & like!
"The I is a capital L"
Lowercase L...
Jagex should just remove that space it is ridiculous to even have it as a semi safe zone. Should be either safe zone or not.
this same dude tried scamming me months ago when i was wearing an ely i was borrowing from my brother. needless to say i didnt wanna be involved and he got very mad at me
It is good that these kinds of videos come out to spread awareness, but they also have the opposite effects sometimes... encouraging people to try and anti-scam.
The greed always gets you
Great job on the editing. I can see the effort.
These scams are getting wild.
It’s sad knowing he only uploads when he gets a high offer from a sponsor :(
If some1 is offering u 1b and u have to do special shit its a scam
This is why I love/hate playing OSRS... I love playing it, but hate playing solo, but refuse to make friends on the game because of this shady stuff.. made a "friend" last year, he helped me out, next thing I know, account hacked, banned(got it unbanned) and had 99 hunter... Yay ez 99 lmao, but at what cost.. everything I had..
This happened to me and cleared my bank. Made me quit RuneScape and only watch osrs videos ever since.
Still feel stupid talking about it.
Oh yeh, scammers are still active and not banned??
Cant scam me if i refuse to talk to the members of our game :)
dont think ive typed more than 100 sentences this year in public chat osrs. theres a reason behind it.
Anyone over the age of 16 falling for these scams... almost deserved lol
Got scammed on a rune scim once and since then i never befriended anyone in game
Ive had this happen to me in similar lore but it was with fake runelite tools rhat allowed them to log me out snd empty my bank
i would took 200m and just blocked guy as that's obvious setup at you as they know your bank and want it.
Shouldve stopped at the 200m, easy payday😊
This has happened to me as well. I Don't trust anyone on runescape anymore
i think the guys that are flaming kemp are bots
Already knew the scam from one of your previous vids, could’ve called a tele block scam from the start
I refuse to believe anyone thinks/knows outside the red gates are safe for Ferox Enclave. As a noob with wildy, but maxed otherwise it's not worth it.
I’m done feeling sorry for people getting scammed this way
something similar literally happened to me
Imagine if OSRS started as iron man only. Literally solves all the issues with the game. Jagex would still make their membership money.
i feel like you've gone over this same scam multiple multiple times...
Same thing happened to me more then a year ago/ Lost my bank 1.5b. Haven't loged back in since. They destroyed my rs07 life sadly
all boils down to "If it sounds to good to be true, it is" i trust noone in RS haha
There's no such thing as free lunch
Content going downhill you've already made a video on this same exact thing like 4 times...
I honestly dont understand how anyone could fall for these.... its like a full time job following the steps. The only account I have even traded in 5 years was my own alt.
They trade you bandos boots and act like they’re your friend lol
