How to make this play chords the way we want like the old session guitarist worked.... Any idea I know we can move up and down the key but it plays chord on its own
@UDi Audio I just took a look and the closes it comes is clicking the magnifying 🔎 and "edit" the pattern sequence which just shows phrases that are similar to what you want but it's far from a perfect match. I might be missing something. Did you speak about this feature in anybody your vids? Thanks!
@@adictiveadictiveIt is possible, kind of, but it is a slow and difficult process as it was probably not meant to be used like that. It is also not without problems. I might make an electric mint advanced use tutorial at some point
i’ve got one question, if i use these patterns can i still copyright my music? i still write my chords but i’m aware that it is the program that is arpeggiating and strumming my chords. so if i copyright my own music, with my own drums, vocals and of course this program strumming my chords am i doing the right thing?
Oh that’s heavy question. Practically the riffs are copyright free and you can use them in your production as this is the whole point of such products. In reality I got copyright claims for all kinds of things and had to deal with it. It’s a problem today when AI bots scanning and have no judgment.
So does each song allow for a MELODY INSTRUMENT TO BE PLAYED WITH ALL THE FX if you dont want patterns but want to make your own and sound alike the song presets (My Question mark button missing)
If you operate it in Melody mode, you can still have four patterns loaded. You can play melodically and choose to play patterns by pressing one of the keyswitches. In melody mode you have to hold the keyswitch continuously to continue getting the pattern. If you release the keyswitch, it goes back to melodic playing. But the answer to your question is yes, you can play patterns and melodies together, with the same guitar setup and fx setup.
@@UDiAudio it crashes when i change sound preset (not every time but from time to time).. whats worse, ableton has crash recovery but it doesnt remember the kontakt settings, patterns and stuff so i have to manually save every 2 minutes..and im certainly not reinstalling 150 gbs of content lol

You mean just the chords strum not patterns?
Caan you play in melody mode and get that same strumming effect as the phrases?
I think that might be possible.. but I guess the phrases will always sound more flowing.

there are two preset banks one for patterns and one for melodies.
If you operate it in Melody mode, you can still have four patterns loaded. You can play melodically and choose to play patterns by pressing one of the keyswitches. What do you mean? Are you using Kontakt or Kontakt player? maybe try re-install via Native Access
