If you are considering buying this, do it. This is something that sits in the mix perfect with literally no mixing out of the plugin. Speeds up writing and helps with creativity. Can never replace a real guitar, but this thing is amazing.
Dear Hifi, I agree with Mopsie, a video explaining why your voicings, style, etc sounds so natural and “ guitar like” would be a great idea. Please consider it.
You really have a nice touch with playing a “guitar like” part. I often see people demonstrating an instrument as if it were a piano with block chords in root position. You also have a very economical narrative style when you explain the functions of the plugin..no fluff, to the point. Well done! One minor comment… a touch of de-tuning combined with a similar amount of humanising rhythmn does help to make it sound slightly less “ suspiciously perfect” 😀
That was good. It took some time to get to the application within a track, that's what woke me up was the context. Nice riff on the Track. My second review on HIFIMIDI...he's the real deal I see. Like Andrew Taylor said below, he's got a solid understanding on 'how to play' this library so it's believed that it is a real Electric Guitar. Much respect to HIFIMIDI.
best Electric Sunburst video demo ! because your video is the only video that showed hands making chords, its needed show hands making chords because theres some smart guys who make fake demos (guitarists playing to simulate keyboards playing vst, as eletricity made years ago)
Thanks for the tutorial. You helped me find a drum library that works best for me... EZ Drummer 2... as I was looking to see what Superior Drummer is all about. I worked with or know, both of the engineers who recorded those two sample libraries, so for me either one will be just fine!!
Not bad for the price... but I have Vir2’s Electri6ity, which is the new portion of this on steroids... but, this is a bit more easier to wrap your head around.
I've been looking for playable guitars (from keyboard) since I'm not a guitarist. Does Native have more playable guitars than this, or just strummings ?
I hope someone can see this since the video is a bit old now. I just got it and have a really annoying problem. I have a melody I want to use, but the instrument keeps switching to tremolo and not open and it is driving me insane. I have no clue how to make it stop doing it. I looked in the manual and found no mention of it. I have d# in the melody, and the tremolo seems to be set to it but I cannot find how to change it. Its seems to be only doing it with midi notes in my piano roll and not while playing on my midi instrument
What will be your pick between Electric Sunburst Deluxe vs Ample Sound AGSC in terms of versatility? Amps are not important for me as I have Guitar Rig 6.
Does anyone know how to automate the pitchbend level? I have been looking for a way and I have not found the way to do it, when you execute the pitch bend in real time it works but how do I save that parameter?
Always. Mixing is adjusting the volume of all track levels to achieve balance between them. That’s always necessary with any sound source. The same concept applies to EQing. An instrument may sound perfect by itself, but it may conflict/compete with others harmonically. It’s always best to mix and eq as part of the audio engineering stage.
What is going to be your primary use for it? Real LPC is very versatile, has many articulations and is rock solid, but it can sometimes lack that organic sound. I've never tried OTS rock standard, but they're sound is very organic. However, they sometimes lack in strumming and automatic string switching, which RealLPC and AGLP have. That gives it a more realistic tone. AGLP is very organic sounding as well because of the articulations, sampling of all strings and frets, and fx, however it can take some time get used to the controls since it tries tackling strumming and riffs. They're all good in some way. I suppose you're back in the same spot. Fortunately, you can tryout LPC and AGLP. The others, you can't. Good luck!
I didn't really give my thoughts on this library. It's very versatile, though it seems to lack in articulations. it has very limited strumming abilities, monophonic melodies are very limited. However the pre-recorded patterns and riffs are very realistic. It's great for simple stuff.
@@hifimidi thank you for the reply, I really appreciate it!-- but to answer your question, I was mostly going to use it for lead. however, at least looking for something that can sound organic while playing a few rhythm parts. I guess versatility would be the main thing. I am for the most part a piano player, and understand that most of these VST's have a learning curve to make it sound more "authentic". I was just looking for an affordable guitar library that I can be used for most genres, but specifically R&B. Again, thank you! Any input helps at this point.
Not sure this is a vintage model, or even a real Gibson, not that it matters a ton. The associated available pics show different guitars, with and w/o a poker chip, white vs black pickup rings. Don’t see any fret nibs, and the only clear view of the bridge look like a Nashville style, making it 1975+ if it is a Gibson.
You make these sound better than anyone I've heard. You have a great understanding of the guitar from the keyboard.

It is SO good.
Super instructional and inspiring. Love it!
You’re a super great presenter. Keep up good work!
Please do a tutorial on how you play so organically on a guitar plugin like this

You have to know how to play a guitar to make sound natural on a vst.
It’s pretty easy ngl if you look at the walkthrough by impact doundworks
@@epicon6 Thats not true.

this sounds unreal. Totally something I've needed!! Thanks, great demo
You do a great service! Thanks for creating this. Please don't stop!
Awesome demonstration, thank you, your one of my best UA-cam channels. 👌
The best explanation ever! Keep it up sir, also would like to see something like this on Ilya Efimov Strumming guitar
Freaking amazing playing techniques!!! I’m sold.
I actually bought original starburst because of your review. You use chord progression that make any library sound great. I have delux now too lol
Another VERY helpful review. Thank you!
What a lovely player. Quality pianist, thank you.
Loved the review. I own NI Electric Sunburst and as a guitarist it's ok, but now with NI's ES Deluxe including the melody option, I'm sold. Thanks.
yeah that's all that was missing, is the ability to play a virtual guitar, not just a strummer.....
Been using it for a while absolutely love it.
Thanks so much, just purchased this and this is exactly what I was looking for
Primarily use Amplesound, but I'm finding I'm using this more and more. Looking forward to Picked Acoustic demo Rueben 👍🏻
Ben Hughes this week or next early. I will be announcing it soon.
Bro! Your a BEAST!! Thanks for an AMAZING review. You make this VI sing ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Great review as usual Ruben. Thanks.
NI should be paying you for this. You sir, make UA-cam great!

This is the best walkthrough video for this software, I can just understand you better, thank you.
I'm happy to say I'm the 100 and one comment
thank you for the video.
I love Native Instruments.
His playing is so good, it makes the plugin sound sound so good lol.
Thanks for the walkthrough
man you sound just like jordan peterson, and it makes the videos so much better. thank you for another great review!!
Awesome demonstration, thank you

My Vibrato activates automatically everytime I hold a note down without me using the mod wheel. How do I fix this .Help!
wow, this sounds fantastic!

Superb, thanks!
Please someone help me I have Deluxe I don't know how to turn patterns off so I can just play single notes!!!
Great Video. Question. Have you ran across any Wah Wah Effects? Do they still add old goodies like that?
I'm buying it...
Some Isley Brothers sounding Ish!!!
Thank you ! Very useful !!!
I've been looking for playable guitars (from keyboard) since I'm not a guitarist. Does Native have more playable guitars than this, or just strummings ?
Yes, they have a bunch more where they have picked, strumming, etc

Can this run without the amp effects is it DI samples? so I can use it in Amplitube?

Hello Ruben great tutorial. Did you ever work in Hong Kong?
Thank you maestro you are the best 👍👋👋♥️ i like you performance 👍
I appreciate your words. Thank you, Mustafa.
What is teh difference between full circle and empty circle in pattern Browser?
Hi ,nice contents , kudos . Do you do commercial production/mixing for individuals ?
yes sir. hifimidi@gmail.com
Does anyone know how to automate the pitchbend level? I have been looking for a way and I have not found the way to do it, when you execute the pitch bend in real time it works but how do I save that parameter?
That is done in your DAW’s controller automation lane. Which DAW do you use?
can you do alternate tuning or at least a drop D tuning?
Which one do you like the best. AmpleSound or impact soundworks or NI electric guitars realistic sounds , articulation and workflow
Is it possible to play single notes or disable the patterns?
According to you, do such sounds need additional mixing? Thanks
They likely moded/wired the guitar to sample all 3 pic up at the same time so it's probably different samples i would say.
Excellent! Thank you.
Is there any strike differences betwin Deluxe with Original One? sory Ima bit lazy to find out sir lol
Yes. You can play individual notes on it like a keyboard. It has different articulations. Now watch the video so I can make 5 cents! 😂
gracias amigo
You are talented.
deciding if i should get this, RealLPC, or the orange tree rock standard. any advice? also considering the ample sound library.

If you had to recommend one of the acoustic ample guitars which would it be?
I love AGT and AGM equally.
Better than ample sound?
how can i slide notes ?
Can it drop tune?
What’s this drum library
Could you please show how to program something like lil tracy - "beautitiful nightmare" on ample sound electric guitar? 🙏
I just want to know can we portamento.. just like guitar ... only thing i want to know ...
No. It “slides” but the slides suck and are not controllable.
HIFIMIDI yeah slides are only for 100 cents ... what about if we want to glide more cents
