    Really hope we get these bigger
    I've been holding back on upgrading because I knew OLED was the next move.

    Wake me up when it’s available in 22+ inches. But it looks amazingly sleek.

    Wacom…I think people will just go buy iPad rather than this product…what is going on with your creativity team?

      iPad now is going to work with zbrush soon. And look back to Wacom, what they did? Keep inventing expensive touchable screens…I still remember when I was young, maybe ten years ago, the first time I saw Wacom it just like I found the Magic of this world! I can draw on the screen!? And the touching is almost perfect. I still think the quality of Wacom is perfect, but please please please don’t waste time on these meaningless products! I said this is because I really like Wacom and wish they could push the technology to next level.

    13 inches is unfortunately too small for my use...

      It's not meant to be a cintiq, is a portable screen tablet, that's why is small

    Why can’t Wacom just make like a iPad for drawing on the go instead of making like tablets to connect to your computer. 0:29

    So.... only 1080p? I guess that's fine for 13 inch.

    Glad to see such an update. Carrying it in a backpack is an advantage, I would pick Movink for being light-weight. When will it be on Amazon or eBay?

    Important warning it only works fully with devices where the Usb-C supports video so computers that don't support it can't be used at this time.

    Honestly, have no friggin' clue who Apple is hella lagging on updating Sidecar. No hate to Wacom, but if we had an update to Sidecar there's virtually ZERO need for this device.

      No need to care about storage, battery life and recharge your pen because this is not an ipad. What's more, nowadays ios devices have abnormally high screen sharpness and none adjustable gamma value, color gamut, color temperature or not even support icc profiles calibrated by color meters. On the other hand, there is also quality LOSS of picture signal using sidecar mode.
      That's why we won't choose ipads for prodessinal work.

      There is an alternative and that is Astropad Studio. Almost zero lag (using a usb-c cable from the iPad to a MacBook Pro) :) Using this setup and it works like a charm. (Pencil Pro 2 along with iPad Pro M1 for drawing unfortunately, so no hover options) But it works pretty well. An M2 iPad or better, would give you hover options too :)

    Is it possible to use it as regular tablet? I mean, tu turn off the screen, and just to draw on it, looking for my main monitor? I saw this mode in Xp-pen and Huion screen-tablets, quess if wacom has it too?

    They always show someone barely touching up a photo. Why not show someone drawing something? Any tablet is going to look capable when someone is just adding some highlight to a subject’s hair or changing a setting. Lame

    Would have been an instant buy for me but not 4K. Trying to mirror this with a MacBook Pro would suck.

    No entiendo cual es el sentido de este producto... es simplemente más de lo mismo, lo que crean que están solucionando ya ha sido realizado por otras productos. Yo creo que la unica y mas acertada innovación de Wacom sería bajar los costos, perdón , quiero decir los precios al público, porque los costos de producción deben ser muy bajos en comparación a lo que se venden....

    • @WatDoino
      @WatDoino 5 місяців тому +3

      Why would you need more than 1080p on a 13 inch device?

    • @donbartolo1243
      @donbartolo1243 5 місяців тому +1

      @@WatDoino I work on an Ipad Pro 10.5" and the screen would totally not look as sharp with a HD resolution. Also,13" is not that small.
      Above that, if you work on a project @HD resolution with a few tools around you work area window, you will not see your work natively at 100%. You will have to zoom in. 2K is minimum to me.
      Now... because Wacom works with edged glass that will surely dull the colors and make the pixels not visible as on an Ipad, maybe having more than HD on this screen is not really necessary.
      But really, in 2024 paying 800€ for a dulling screencoating at HD resolution when you have so much other alternatives (Samsung Galaxy Tab, Ipad, Huion, etc.) that can also be tethered to computers and work like a Wacom Tablet... Don't be fooled by the Brand name. There is totally nothing special here.

      @@donbartolo1243 It only matters what ppi the screen is. This ppi matches with 27 inches 4k screens, which means the content scaling factor would be consistent across the pen tablet and the 4k screen. This ensures the images sharpness to be same on both devices

    • @donbartolo1243
      @donbartolo1243 5 місяців тому

      @@neuronumhu6719 Nope ppi is not the only thing that matters my friend. Edged glass blurs the screen which makes the pixels not as visible and sharp as on glossy screen as an Ipad for exemple, whatever resolution you have under it. I've had the Cintiq Pro 16 (4K), Mobile Studio Pro 13" (2K) and an Ipad 10.5. The pixels from the Ipad are sharp as hell which was not the case of the Wacoms. I always had to zoom in on the Wacom to have a Pixel perfect result. Never on the Ipad. A world of difference.
