Rebecca, I have been battling this problem for almost 3 months!! I bought a new alternator, two new batteries, a relay and new fuses and a PCM. And you’re the only person that I stumbled upon that solved the problem for me! THANK YOU!
Rebecca. Your video saved me. I had the same problem on my Jeep 2016. Part was the same. Wasn’t sure how the wires connected inside until I got the part and figured out how to get the fuse housing cover off. Your awesome. Started right up after replacing the blown fuse. Saved me many $$$$$ Thank you again 😊
Same thing happened to my wife's 2016 grand cherokee high altitude, completely lost power, had to losen up passenger seat, replaced the main battery because it was old anyway, but car was still dead, came across your video, bought the fuse block at my local mopar dealer and bam, car turned on. Thanks for your helpful video/info
Awesome information. My alternator stopped charging yesterday and I was gonna start looking under there for a fusible link. If I can't find a fuse box, then I'll just wire a Seperate 200amp fuse inline to the alternator. My 2011 has a 180amp alternator. Thanks again and have a great day.
I just crossed the battery terminals while jump starting my 2018 GC tonight. By the grace of God it didn’t mess anything up. No fuses were blown and the Jeep started right up after I have the helper vehicle was gunned a little.
I'm so glad it was helpful to you! like I said, never made a video before but the ridiculousness of locating this part made me realize this could be helpful to others too!
Part number for the main block fuse: 68089468AA - you can get it from a Mopar parts store or I actually bought it on amazon for $81. And yes, I put the new one in and everything started right up like it should!
@@rebeccamiller9232 , I had a problem with GPS in iraq is not working , after I checked I saw there is new update of GPS , where can I get it do you have any information ?
Any idea what blows that fuse?? My 2017 GC stopped atarting one day. Replaced bith batteries, the alternator and the ground strap. Then I saw this video and checked mine and my fuse was blown as well. I replaced it, checked my in-line fuse near the battery (that was fine), put everything back the way it was and it STILL wont start. I have no idea what it could be at this point. Maybe the starter???
I think the inline fuse underneath the passenger seat, 20 amps, is the fuse for the radio. Btw, I never knew about the fuse cartridge near the positive terminal under the hood, good to know.
I installed a light bar that is always powered, not powered with key on. I wired the positive part of the harness to the positive jumper post there above the fuses. My question is do the emergency jumper posts under the hood go to the main battery or the small auxiliary battery? A month after installing the light bar my auxiliary battery has died (or I believe so, as my auto start stop/is disabled) would you know if the jumper posts under the hood go to the auxiliary or main ?
Same issue, warning ⚠️ come on instrument cluster stating to find a safe place to park vehicle will be shutting off, was able to get off highway as vehicle shut off after that there was no power to anything not even the horn worked. Thanks for the video.

You're so welcome!
You did very good for the first time making a UA-cam video, thank you so much. I will store that in my brain for next time if I need it😊
Thank you :)
The only video i could find on this. Thank you so much🙏🏽

you can buy fuse with 150 A and make it outside fuse and connect with a main power of the top and I did it yesterday
you're way more skilled than I :)

My fuses are good so now to probably hook up an external regulator to the alternator.
That’s what happened to mine when I moved the fuse box so I could replace the passenger low beam light bulb
Really helpful video thanks
Nice work
Great video! Thanks.
My mom got a 2016 main fuse was fried and the power control relay pcr for those who changed main fuse and no start
I wish I had seen this video before I had to tow my cherokee to the dealership.. I had the same problem...cost me $$$$$$😫😫
oh nooo! I'm so sorry!
My car is still starting but itsl cuts off , can it that problem coz l crossed
What's the name of the part where can I get it
Great video, did the outer cover just slip off? Mine wont budge
@@hotrod3901 it took a little finesse - other option maybe hit it with a blow dryer to loosen the plastic a little
@@rebeccamiller9232 thank you i’ll try that.

I have a 2014 battery good but no power no lights work power to nothing would this cause the problem

Do you have the part number or where you got it from?
when this fuse was blown was there no power at all
Correct, no power at all

What's the part number for that?
🌹🌹🌹🌹👍👍😘😘
Do you leave the battery connected when you replace this fuse box?
Yes, I did
Sweet. Your response is much appreciated. Thank you.
How did you get the metal pin off from the top?
That long metal pin is part of the fuse itself, all one piece
Thanks again. Mines was really on there.....had to use 110% strength to Crack that socket. Anyways you saved me with this video. Just got it fixed.
@@Poop121234 awesome!! Glad I could help!
