we have 2017 durango v6, we're retired! just over 10k miles lol, it has that stupid start/stop crap! the co. making the eliminator wants $90 for it! i'm sure china has a $20 one in the making! we bought the car new with 15 mi. on it and paid $1,800 for the highest level warranty! so far zero problems, had the dealer change the oil/filter twice and they rotated the tires for free! the start/stop works well! but i don't want to wear out the starter or have it not work all of a sudden! we were not told that the car had it when purchasing the car bastards.
currently I can't get my 17 Durango 3.6 Citadel to start and can't figure out why. I have power to main battery. If I try to jump it, will the jump, jump the aux battery as well? Or is that separate?
Thanks I just sent this to my daughter to fix her car. I cannot believe that car has a fuse stopping the battery power.. what happens if it blows while your driving??
Thanks for the video! So I have a 2015 dodge durango limited 3.6 she cranks but turns off immediately I checked all fuses in fusebox and found 1 but it didn't have nothing to do with run/start, check engine code states loss of communication to PCM, any ideas
@@MisterTgarage thank you i did the same and got it. You can just goggle the year make and modle + fuse block (array) it should generate a oem part number. Its a universal part
So I had one come in like this after customer replaced both batteries and it would not start. I replaced the fuse and two days later it got towed back in with the fuse blown again. What’s causing it to keep blowing?
How bout this? My 2020 Jeep GC has the same problem and I already changed the starter, alternador, and the fuse block 3 times already because it keeps blowing it, so it might be a short. Btw is in the shop rn they’re looking for the short.

Totally agree on the start/ stop feature. What you save in gas you spend on a new starter and labor. My 2 cents

Someone shorted something and blew that fuse probably when messing the battery that is what a fuse is for especially when you do something wrong
Do the cords have to go to the exact slot, or can you change that 30 amp one to one of the larger slots?
It better if they go to the exact slot because of amperage. In an emergency, you could use a larger slot

Hello, on communication loss problems could be a lot of things, check powers, grounds, and communication lines first. What codes are you getting?
Do u have a part # for the fuse?
I don't have the part number. Sorry, I went by vin number at the dealer. Because sometimes they have superseded numbers

Most likely a short somewhere
